I had a great experience purchasing a new F150 and trading in my old truck. Called many dealers and got various run around trying to get pricing on the phone so I could come down. Even showed up to one dealer an hour and a half away that tried to charge $8k more in person than what their sales guy quoted me. Called Ron at McCoy Mills and he was straightforward in their deal and had very fair pricing given the car shortage. Showed up and finalized the deal with Jim who was excellent and got a great deal trading in my old car and on purchase of new F-150. This review is for the service department. I had a door ajar sensor that was malfunctioning and I took it to Ford of Orange twice...and almost a third time until my boyfriend said I should try McCoy Mills. (He too has a Ford and loves the service provided at McCoy Mills). The door ajar sensor was fixed after my second visit to Ford but they broke the window control panel and just tried to dummy glue it back into position (the clips were broken that snap and lock it into place). Because it had been so hot, the dummy glue never set (thank God). When I approached Ron about the issue he quickly asked his service department manager who offered to order the part and have it re-installed within 15 minutes. When the part arrived 2 days later, Ron was not working in the department that day but he debriefed the service writers about me and had everyone in the loop about the problem. The service manager was also there to great me. He had the service writer expedite the car to the "magicians" behind the scene and literally, within 10 minutes, the part was replaced and I was on my way. Thank you to everyone who was so willing to take on this problem and help me. You guys should be proud of the reputation you are building for Ford and McCoy Mills. I purchased my F150 ecoboost in 2011 and found McCoy Mills to be a very good experience for buying a new vehicle. Honest, only unsold features that turned out to be great options and all at a very fair price. Unfortunately, yesterday the truck started to shudder upon a good acceleration and then the engine light started blinking. This happened every time on a hard acceleration. On the fourth time the engine light stayed on, uh oh and today I'm supposed to go camping, leaving tomorrow! Took the truck in first thing in the morning to McCoy and told them what is happening and my vacation predicament. I'm typing this as I wait and will give the play by play. First thing is that they almost immediately had a technician bring it into the garage and then test drive it. Awesome start! Im crossing my fingers now for an easy fix or 'can drive but bring back later'. It's been about an hour and the technician just took it for another test drive; crossing my fingers it was a quick fix. Fantastic service so far! Im in a bind and they are really helping by dedicating time to it, regardless of the outcome. Very mixed feelings about this dealership. They took steps to make the buying process very easy for me, which was definitely appreciated, but sold me a brand new truck that had "used" paint. When you purchase a brand new $75,000 truck that was supposedly on the showroom floor, you would expect the paint and exterior to be in "new" condition. Unfortunately for me, I put too much trust in their word and didn't take the time to thoroughly inspect prior to signing my paperwork. After looking at the paint under proper lighting, I found the entire exterior covered in swirl marks and water spots. Also some strange putty-like substance on the upper area of the windshield. If we ever get rain again in Southern California, I may find a leak there. After letting the sales manager know about the damaged paint and providing a quote to have a proper paint correction done, he offered to cover 1/5 of the cost. I found that to be more of an insult than an attempt at making the situation right. It would seem they are more concerned about their bottom dollar on a sale than customer satisfaction. I didn't feel like I was asking for anything out of line, just to have my brand new truck actually in the brand new condition it was supposed to be in. This review would definitely be 1 star if it wasn't for their effort put forward to make the sale. UPDATE: In regards to the comment left by Jim; The photos were taken and sent to Tommy the salesman, who then forwarded them to his boss Steve K. 5 days after the paperwork was signed and I took delivery of the vehicle. I still have the photos with the time stamp on them (June 23rd). Unfortunately if took me a few days to get the vehicle indoors and in good lighting. The initial vehicle inspection took place outdoors under cloudy conditions. Impossible to see swirls and paint defects in those conditions. Again, I'm well aware it's my fault for not looking the vehicle over better, and assuming the brand new vehicle was in "brand new" condition prior to taking delivery. I'm just letting others know my experience. There's also no time limit as to when reviews can be posted about previous experiences. read more

Jim Mills, one of the owners, and Jackie Daniels in the service department are the Rock Stars of this dealership. In the previous review I had written for McCoy Mills was blunt and veiled with anger. My faith in McCoy Mills Ford had diminished due to the fact that i bought a warranty that didn't cover anything. Now, my perspective has changed, a little. Sure, they worked with my husband to get my car in and taken care of. They worked hard on my car for two days; oil change, brakes, rotating tires, fixed my broken back up camera, and "fixed" my sunroof. I say "fixed" because now it opens and closes, but I can still see where they didn't put the part that came off, back onto it. I estimate in about 6 months, i'll be back (at another dealer) to fix it. I recommend this dealer to purchase your car; pricing, financing, and sales were fine... service and operations may not be the best. I'm a happier camper. read more
