You can sit in your car while eating right out of you just purchased basket and watch the employees pick more. It' was funny watching the 3 pick berries on opening day. The gentleman would pick a few then eat the perfect one he'd just pick. again and again. I think he loves his job. The stand employees are the best. Always happy to see you and greet everyone with a smile and thank you for supporting us. It's a small field so get them early. I must add I do buy at Carlsbad when this place is not open. Second best even though a little higher priced.

This is one of my favorite times of the year. Strawberries are in season. Bright red berries full of sweet flavor. These strawberries are sun ripened and picked from the field right behind the stand. They don't get fresher. I alternate between getting a 3 pack of #1's which are the big ones and the small ones. The small ones are a little bit sweeter. I noticed Williamson Produce was selling strawberries at Costco but like other supermarket strawberries they didn't have much flavor as I suspect they are picked before they are ripe. There is a strawberry flag and an open sign so you know when the stand is open. I usually call before coming by. Open 8-4pm most days till strawberry season is over in June. They built a fancy new stand this year. While the old stand looked like a farmer built it the new stand looks like a housing contractor did it as the roof looks like one you would see on a house. Attic fan keeping the stand cool is a nice touch. The new stand is also closer to the strawberry field.

I love the concept of making fresh food accessible to everyone and anyone. It's such a great mission. The highlight for us was the nature play area; my little one could have stayed there for hours. They've done a fantastic job creating an outdoor experience that's genuinely fun and engaging for kids of all ages. I also loved the "lead experiences" they host every hour. We joined the chicken feeding, which was a huge hit thanks to Daniel! We felt very safe throughout our visit, and the security team was incredibly helpful and a special thanks to Stephanie for that. We're already looking forward to our next trip back!

The farm has on Thursdays and Sundays a pay what you can farm stand. This has been a tremendous help to the community, especially when Covid hit. When purchasing items it is private so other people cannot see if you need to use the opportunity to purchase items at a discounted price or at full price. There are also many educational opportunities on the farm. Camps for kids, after school programs and other events are available throughout the year. The farm recently opened a coffee cart as well. Swing by and get fresh coffee along with your fruits and vegetables. There are also chickens on the farm and fresh eggs are sold every Sunday. If you like to eat the rainbow, or try new vegetables, this might be the spot for you as well, depending on when you arrive at the farm, you can see the vegetables coming in just after they have been picked to be sold.

Pros: -I love the variety of food vendors that they have here. There were also vegan options available. -there is a shaded seating area that has picnic benches but people also brought out blankets to enjoy the day -some live music was available when I stopped by Cons: -parking can be a bit difficult and since this is in a residential neighborhood, you need to be careful of where you park. It I was able to get street parking not too far away Overall, a delightful farmers market!

My highlight of this place was the green juice from morning star ranch!! Everyone had a bottle and rightfully so, super nutritious and delicous - this farmers market is at a elementary school which is great -parking can be tough but we had parked in downtown Encinitas and just walked over (about 20 minutes)

The food is incredibly fresh and perfect if you're looking for healthy, on-the-go options that don't sacrifice flavor. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or hanging out for a bit, everything feels thoughtfully made and high quality. It's also one of those rare places that truly works for everyone -- families, friends catching up, casual dates, or even a solo stop. And the fact that it's dog-friendly is the cherry on top If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food and a community feel, this is definitely worth checking out!

There's also really cute to dog oriented, snack, snacks, and outfits. I'll have to check out their wine in more detail. I mean from the grocery store if you head back then you go straight into the farm grounds. There is a 12 or $15 charge for a farm tour but if you have kids, it's perfect cause you get to go see the farm animals, including the owner's horse and they have a cute little train ride. In the back is also a brewery of their craft brews. See them in pictures I've added. I definitely need to go back to check out the craft brewery. -No dogs allowed on the farm portion I went upstairs to have brunch, which is a new addition to the area. Staff was definitely attentive. I recommend making reservations for this so that you get the tables either outside overlooking the farm or the field. We did a walk-in for four people so we could only get a table on the inside. It's definitely a cool place to hang out temperature wise. Food was pretty quick to come out. Portion sizes are moderate to big that we had to take home some stuff. We did have an issue where the chicken was undercooked, but they were able to remedy that very quickly. Definitely get the beet hummus. I only wish they had more crudités accompany it. You can see it only came out in a small little dish. Probably would recommend either sizing down the hummus or going up on the vegetables to make it a little bit more complete. The chicken and pancake was definitely interesting and not what I expected. Pancake is carrot and lemon, but you can't really taste the lemon. It only had sparse carrot in it, but definitely still worth a taste. The chicken was definitely savory and more herby so it kind of overpowered the pancake a bit. Definitely chicken packed. Fries came out pretty soggy, which was a downside. The root vegetable has looked pretty good and it was definitely a sizable portion. The eggs and pasture was a little bit interesting in the sense that day. It was kind of a fried egg surrounded by a pasta sauce and then there's bread ciabatta slices on the plate. It's pretty good not overly salty or overly tart for the sauce. Definitely a good keto/Paleo option if you don't eat the bread. We also had their banana bread, which was really good - it wasn't able to take pictures of it since we demolished it pretty quickly. I highly recommend any bakery items. It's a very family friendly affair as we saw large families with numerous children coming in and you can have a place to let the dogs run in the small field front of the restaurant. I saw a lot of other families is bringing their dogs out onto the patio portion of the restaurant. Overall, the ambience is very family friendly and I would definitely come back here again for a chill morning brunch. Note that they close at 1 PM for brunch! Warning: that there's a limited parking so you need to get there early! They will have a traffic mediator once it's full
