And very reasonable. And the service was excellent. They make great sandwiches and pair them with the most amazing salads! Or, if you prefer, you can just get the salad. There were four of us for lunch, and we each got something different. I got the roast beef sandwich, and the spinach salad with it. It was SOOO good - and big enough that I took half home! My husband had the turkey sandwich and the Chinese chicken salad. We're going back next week, and the only problem is trying to figure out which delicious combination to try!

A locally owned small business one-stop-shop for everything culinary, they offer specialty kitchen supplies, a cafe, and a culinary school. The owners Lara and Jay greeted me, and were so kind and helpful. Eager to learn new skills and meet more new friends, I signed up for three classes - Autumn Soups and Breads, Slow Cooker, and Sushi, all taught by Lara and assisted by her generous and attentive staff. Don't worry, you don't need to be a master chef to take a class here. No matter your level of experience, Lara's chatty style is accessible and interactive. In the demo style classes, you watch, learn, and get fed! The Sushi class was hands on, so fun! After Lara showed us various techniques, we worked in small groups, with staff floating around and helping us when we had questions. The end result was sharing our creations with our group and schmoozing over a glass of wine. I was impressed that before classes, I was asked to provide a list of allergies. In class, the staff KNEW this, and when I politely declined samples of foods I could not eat, they went out of their way, without being prompted, to offer accommodations. For example, they brought me a soup bowl without pasta and cheese. Instead of feeling like an outsider, it was nice to be treated with respect and concern. The NTI philosophy of good cooking comes down to quality ingredients, the proper techniques, and the right tools. Now, that I've gone home and tried some of the recipes, the proof is in the results. You can't take short cuts if you want good flavor. Lara gave us the low down on where to buy the freshest meats, fish, and produce, gave tips on cutting and cooking techniques, and made recommendations for awesome cooking tools specific to the recipes she demoed. I've bought a few things from their store that truly help me in the kitchen. The vegetable peeler alone has literally changed my life. I'm looking forward to taking more classes soon. I feel welcome there, and I have so much I still want to learn. NTI is an incredible resource, and we are lucky to have them!

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday. The joint was nearly empty aside from a couple at the bar. Plenty of seating for our large group in the large, comfy couches. They also have cool built-in seating around the perimeter of the bar, though not nearly as comfortable as the vintage furniture. The menu is sorted by glass type. A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! Others in my group enjoyed working their way through the many light, dark, and sour beers on tap. 1864 offers a classic, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to get a cocktail. The prices are reasonable, too. Definitely worth the visit.

It really does not taste anything like an "old fashioned" but it's very good and my usual go-to. Ambiance is cool. Has a very Edgar Alan Poe vibe mixed with an alchemist/speakeasy. Love the quality of the drinks as they absolutely put effort and time making quality drinks with quality ingredients. It's relatively small inside so I can only imagine it could get packed in there. We had several drinks and every single one was perfection! The bathroom is the cutest and they have the coolest speakeasy door that the employees use to get to the back (not for the customers). My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

With their down to earth demeanor and their amazingly skilled talents, they created the most delicious cocktails we have honestly ever had...still dreaming of the Bourbon Apple Cider...Mmmmmmm. It was all so seamless and pain free and we walked away knowing that if we did it all over again, they would without a doubt be the first vendors we picked. And on top of everything else, their Trailers are SUPER RAD! It's the perfect detail you didn't know your wedding needed. It's safe to say Petite Street was the highlight of our wedding, everyone loved the two of them and their incredible cocktails and to this day everyone cannot stop talking about them! I was in a trance, staring at how beautiful their trailer is, when I snapped out of it and decided on a cocktail. I opted for the Honey Lavender Fizz which is a vodka based cocktail. The ingredients sounded great but when they pulled out a fresh lavender sprig to top off the creation I was in heaven. The drink was beautiful in color, smell and presentation. I snapped a picture (ever the good Yelper) and took my first sip. YUM! On a 100 degree day this was the best choice I could have made. I love beer but this was not a beer day. This was a prefect cocktail day! I am super anxious to try their food offerings. Seems they are frequent attendees of the "Feed The Camel" event on Wednesdays here in Reno. I will definitely be headed down there to find them and try one of their menu options - especially the Raclette sandwich if they have it!
