So when I called to see if they received my signed estimate, and give my deposit, that's when they mentioned I have to wait till Monday for scheduling to happen ( we were Tuesday ) , it's a bit confusing and hope to not be in a rush for the work to be done. Jon Wills, owner, and his office manager, Haley, were easily reachable and quickly provided answers to our questions during all phases of the work. Our Fire District offers a 50% rebate on gutter screens, provided I comply with their need for documentation. Not a problem for Able Roofing when it came to invoicing. His team of six roofers, plus gutter/downspout fabricators, finished our job in two days - as promised. They arrived early each day. The cleanup at the end of each day was excellent and much appreciated. We are pleased with the quality of work Able Roofing did for us. Their pricing was good, also.

The company also uses large 4-hour appointment windows (8 AM-12 PM or 12 PM-4 PM) for inspections. As a landlord, I was uncomfortable sitting outside the property for hours waiting for the technician to arrive, as I did not want to appear intrusive or make tenants uncomfortable. The phone representative assured me the technician would call before arriving, but that did not happen. Overall, the experience reflected poor customer service and poor communication between departments from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Capstone Roofing.

This was truly the worst, most unprofessional hack job I have EVER experienced. Despite many correspondence requesting to make it right, I was ignored and left with this nightmare. Neither Kyle nor Ken ever even bothered to come see what sort of job the two flunkies did which so poorly represents their business and reflects upon their reputation. I even could have such a better job myself with NO experience whatsoever. It felt as though this job was to be an example of everything NOT to do and how to do everything horribly and perfectly wrong. This business has absolutely NO integrity, accountability, takes no pride in their work and treats their customers like dirt with no respect whatsoever. I've learned that they did this same thing to one of my neighbors who also received NO resolution and had to hire another company to do their entire gutter job over also. Shameful. See photos.

I didn't act quickly but when I finally reached out again with questions I received an almost immediate response. When I had more questions the response was equally rapid. Scheduling the job was easy and the workers showed up on time, finished promptly, and left the work site immaculately clean. The proprietor, Ladd, was on site and involved with the entire installation. He was my sole contact from initial contact through installation. I have zero hesitation in highly recommending Mr Skylight for replacing old skylights, installing new skylights, or trouble-shooting skylight-related issues or concerns. They did a nice job protecting our neighbors from overspray, fixed some soffit rot, and expertly sloped the foam into a better drainage pattern. One of the things we were looking to achieve was a decrease in temperature during hot months. The week they finished was 95 F and it was noticeably 15 degrees cooler inside than prior to the foam. Unreal. We had them replace three skylights, and while there was a blip in getting them ordered, Alex made it right. Installed quickly and made a huge difference in the light inside the home.
