Friends, we just wrapped up a 6 month project with AAA. The pictures are what really does this work justice, but I can say that AAA far exceeded expectations. We did a kitchen/living room remodel which included removing two walls and adding a 16' new sliding door and a new deck. Toward the end of the project we expanded scope to include a new roof and new siding and exterior painting. They seamlessly provided this extra work. We lived in the house during the construction and worked from home while the crew transformed our home. Andrey got us going and Art and Alex were our main contacts during the project. I enjoyed working with Alex. He has the best "no problem" approach and when we hit a design issue with our deck, he had a great idea of how to rework the stairs and we went with that approach. They also recommended a great architect, window company and other items. Every inspection passed. They responded quickly to my concerns. I will definitely have them come back and do our bathrooms. AAA Construction is by far the best general contractor company I've ever worked with. They gave me a straightforward estimate on what it would cost to remodel my kitchen, dining room, walk-in pantry, and bathroom after a major flood that happened during the crazy rains we had. I got 6 bids total as the work to be done was not specific to one area of the house, I need a company that can do it all. Andrey's bid was totally reasonable and the high quality of work I received honestly should have come with a higher price tag, especially in Marin! The notice matched the estimate exactly. Not only that, but he got me the estimate within 1 day of coming out. Compared to the other companies I called, wow these guys really have it together. I hired AAA for a bathroom remodel. I had been wanting to do this job for a while and discovered buildzoom.com where you can post your job and have contractors respond and bid. Andrey at AAA responded within a few hours and he came out 2 days later to do a walk-thru. I received 4 quotes for the work and AAA was on the higher side but their bid was more thorough and included suggestions on places to purchase and they even said I could use their contractor discounts if needed. I just liked how they had done business and how responsive they were so I hired them. One thing to note is that this company is set up a little differently. Andrey is the business guy, while Art is the General contractor. It's a little confusing at first but it actually works out well because it allows Andrey to work with clients early and once the work starts, you then communicate with Art. Both were very responsive! The only small issue with this division of responsibility is Andrey advised me on the permit I needed and when Art came he gave me different info so I had to go back and get more. I only have one bathroom so it was important that once the work got started, it happened fast. We set a start date but unfortunately we had to push it back twice. I know that happens but what I love, is they proactively credited me a small amount to make up for the inconvenience. I really appreciate how they handled that. Art brought in Vitale to do the actual work. I was amazed at the quality and speed of the work and how knowledgable Vitale was. He did the tiling, plumbing, minor electrical, etc. And everything was done so well (I had inspectors in at every stage). Not only that but Vitale took great care to ensure everything looked perfect and worked very hard to get the work done in 8 days. The shower door took longer because it needed to be measured and then we had an issue but Art kept me informed all along the way so I always knew what was happening. I am so happy with the work AAA did and I would highly recommend them. If I do any other work, they will be my first call - I'd use them again without hesitation! read more

I can't say enough good things about Art & Andrey. I found Andrey after my real estate broker told me that of the 5 contractors she called, 2 did not show up for their appointment and 1 never sent a quote. And one contractor came out, but I didn't get a quote for over 3 weeks. Once he did give me a quote, he said he couldn't start until after New Year's. I became desperate. I decided to look for someone, myself and found AAA Construction on Yelp. I called them on a Thursday. Andrey came out the same day. He promptly gave me a quote the next morning and started on the job the following Tuesday. They are not a 1-2 man show, they have multiple teams, who work on rotational basis, as the job requires. They have plumbing specialists, tile only specialists, and sheet rock and paint guys. The kept every single part of the agreement that they made with me, including being available to receive new appliances at the property. They handled all of the inspection scheduling as well. I travel a lot for work, so this made my life much easier. They estimated 4 weeks for my master and half bathroom but were done in 3. They did this during the month of December, which is amazing, given the number of holidays. His prices are not the lowest, but for the service and quality, it was more than reasonable. They arranged to pick up all materials, which I selected, and they found suppliers that were much more affordable than Marin County stores. It's difficult to find someone who keeps their word in this industry. Andrey & Art exceeded every expectation I had. I have referred them to my agent, as well as to the neighborhood association manager for future contracting needs. They are awesome!!!! read more

My husband I were finishing up our custom kitchen remodel recently and all we had left were a few minor details and the black splash. For the backslash we chose a white subway glass tile that was difficult to work with. We had 3 different construction companies we worked with that we either ended up firing because of an in adequate job or they ended up quitting because it was very very difficult. This was beyond frustrating as we are finishing up the final pieces of the kitchen and couldn't find someone to complete the back splash. Luckily my co-worker told me about AAA construction and design. They were able to come in quickly and give me a quote. I was ready to pay anything to get it done, but to my surprise they quote was very reasonable. They were able to complete my kitchen quickly. They did an outstanding job! As I learned, working with glass subway times is very difficult, 1)- they break when cutting, 2) you have to build that pattern. They did an exceptional job and my kitchen looks fantastic. Not only did they have to come in and finish a job someone else didn't they also did a better job the any of the other workers we had. We even asked them to do our recess lighting in the kitchen. They were also a pleasure to worth with. Andrey was able to come out provide us with a quote and start date quickly. Only regret is that we didn't have them do the work in the beginning. I cannot recommend Andrey and AAA Construction & Design, Inc. highly enough. I actually work in residential real estate investing and was lucky to find them. After recommending a couple of contractors to my mother in-law, she was not happy with the quotes and company representatives and found Andrey and AAA Construction & Design, Inc on Yelp! She asked me to meet him and see if it made sense to go in there direction. His quote was not the lowest but very reasonable, which was great. Beyond that (and equally as important), Andrey returned every call, email and text within minutes and was NEVER late for an appointment. What I loved even more, they are light years ahead of the industry as far as technology goes, and will do a video call, and are Google hangouts and use Google calendar appointments for everything. You have to love there quoting system as well. Everything is broken down to the Square / Linear foot and itemized. They leave no if's or butts. If you have ever hired a contractor you will understand that is NOT the industry standard for communication and quoting. My past experiences include the contractor not showing up and not calling back for days at a time, and getting quotes with vague descriptions and a lump sum totals leaving gaps and room for mistakes and always getting up charged later. Andrey is there for you during all planning stages, he works with you picking out Materials, Appliances and even passes along his discounts with local Cabinet, Stone, and Appliance retailers.
