Full Compass is Quite a disappointment
    Donald M.

So, Way back in April, Order Date: April 14th 2020 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Quantity Price Description ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 $79.36 Logitech C920S HD Pro Webcam (Item usually ships in 16-20 business days.) This order was a high priority due to this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Our office must follow our Directors protocols put in place to protect our employees, and our clients. One directive is to stop all person to person contact and use web cams to conduct Microsoft teams' meetings with our clients as well as vendors. As you can see, I placed an order for a web cam on April 14th 2020. The only reason I chose Full Compass from the list of many competitors was because at the time of my order, these Logitech C920s HD Pro Webcams showed on their website to be in stock and ready to ship! Also stating that these Items usually ships in 16-20 business days. Wow, it seemed too good to be true. Forked over the $79.36 plus the $6.15 in Tax. I should be good to go, right? Well, after sending my first email on May 14, requesting an ETA, I received a response from Andy on May 18th that said, " It looks like there is a shipment that is due to come in this week, so we should be able to ship out by the end of the week! ". Well, that week went by and no product. I felt I should give this company a call, which I did on May 26th, and asked what was up with my order, has it shipped? The answer I received was that it has not shipped as of yet, but a shipment was set to come in this week and that my product would be sent right out. No product! So here comes more anxiety mixed with frustration. I sent another email, again, requesting an ETA for my purchase. On June 4th, I received this reply. "Hello, from what I can see it looks like it is going to be coming in on 6/5. These dates can change however since webcams are a very very popular item at the moment." "Take Care, Andrew Nevens, Customer Service Representative." Wow, really? I'm seeing a pattern here. People are dying left and right from interaction with each other. So much anxiety, frustration and now anger. It's now June 27th, 53 business days later, I still don't have my order for my department, and everyone in the office is wondering, which one of us will be the next victim? Thanks, Full Compass. you should change your name to, Empty Compass. You have strung this Order on and on and on, way beyond the reasonable patients of this customer! I will not buy from this Company ever again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. P.S. Office Depot has this same product in stock for much less, it has already shipped, and will arrive to my destination on July 7th 2020. Now that's customer service.

Ad shipping cost $4.95 attempted to charge $8.95 at online check out.

I found the item listed below online that stated the shipping cost at $4.95 However at checkout it is $8.95 shipping. I did chat with an employee online and he seemed to be very surprised that there was a difference and he would pass it along to the web crew. I then told him i had screen shots of the ad and cart price he then offered his email to forward them to him. I did forward the screen shots and he ended the chat with no offer or solution. However i checked on other posted items from their site and i wasn't surprised to find this wasn't the only item from their site posted with lower item price than their competitors and low shipping rates, However they more than double their advertised shipping rates at the final checkout. Beware for the Full Compass Systems click bait ads..

There were plenty of "Audio listening Rooms" in the late 1970's and 80's…read more You know, that darkened, specialized room designed so you could select your 'high end' stereo equipment free of distractions and with the help of your personal sales guy. The problem was that your initial excitement was dampened because it never sounded the same when assembled in your normal home environment. The 80's saw a reduction of these places as digital and phone apps and ear buds bloomed and boomed to to obliterate this older traditional way of listening, and specialized places disappeared. Most went high end portable tech. Many of us vinyl people went with the flow, packed away the LP's, stored the turntable, and became part of the more accessible but less personal and more detached portable music scene, foregoing that sacred home space that was the refuge room for listening. We became accustomed to the blue tooth portable sound, but knew, deep down, unlike the newer generations, that we had audible memories embedded by experience that had opened us to a world that many of this newer generation never knew existed, that could take us to a sounding stage and private place and listening space that was a world away, customized to our own auditory senses and creation. With the imposed solitude of the past two years, I wanted to rediscover that which I had lost in storage and forgotten in time. My $300 phono turntable of the late 70's had suffered in abandoned storage. My 1990 speakers were ok, but I also knew there might be better. Where to begin? I went to my computer and started reading. I discovered that the world of audio had gone internet, and that I could find a zillion places to buy and hundreds of opinions, a multitude of pricing, but NOWHERE to hear, to feel and judge with my ears what might be a good choice. I almost made an emotional purchase decision tied a familiar historic American named speaker brand, reputable in the past and renewed in production with a midwest address. They sell direct. Great reviews. Solid tradition. Friendly sales people by phone. Then I discovered, after asking questions, that they ARE in a small Indiana town, but everything in production and replacement is in CHINA. They are essentially the way station. Fine if that's (pardon the expression), "your cup of tea". Not mine. Not for the kind of expenditure and no ability to hear the product. I reside, let's say, in the boonies. By choice. Unfamiliar with current urban choices, another internet search of, " Madison, WI, Audio Stores", brought me to,"UNIVERSITY AUDIO"... Would this be another glitz, sales slick, suit and tie specialized sound proofed, adjustable lighting, myriad-ed postered, colorful brochures festooned enclave of super- duper rabbit hole-bottomless dollar pit maze, that would try to dissect me more than I wanted to dissect them, place?? No. I met Ben. As straight forward as the plastered walled rooms with a couple of chairs to listen to any number of audio choices so that you could find your ears matched to equipment and technology that your brain could hear, and to which your soul could relate. I really did rediscover 'The Sound of Music". (That a bit too trite, but truisms often are.) We got it all home now. It sounds true to what we heard and better, because it's in our listening head space, our room. My suggestion is: If you are going to take the journey, or rediscover the journey, take the road trip, not the internet trip; especially if you value experience over expeniture as your guide. University Audio may be justly, the education your ears need. TB a real fan. A real customer.
