    Outdoor patio with hot tub

We use Diaz landscaping and construction LLC for a patio reconstruction project. We couldn't be more happier with the decision we made to go with Jorge and his crew .Before we started the difficult project, we contacted four different landscaping companies to come out and give us bids and ideas/plans. We chose Jorge and his company because we were personally impressed with him and his plans and ideas and what he could do for us. He actually made our dollar go further than what other companies could do. Jorge is one of the hardest workers I have ever met. You could take his word to heart. If he said he was going to do something that is what he did! He worked late and he came on Saturdays. He is the owner of the company and was fully hands-on in the entire project. Not just a site manager checking in every now and then. You can expect to see him every day that he said he would be there. Diaz landscaping company LLC had to pull out an old 12x12 foot cement patio, pull out rocks, plants, bushes and other landscaping before even starting our cement paver patio. As the project was moving along, and I would be in my yard working in the garden or other flowerbeds that I have...everybody walking on the bike path would stop me and tell me how beautiful the patio is looking or was after it was completed. I could not be out there a single day without a handful of people stopping to tell me what a wonderful job or how beautiful the patio looks. That made me feel good inside because we wanted a nice beautiful patio where we could entertain. Jorge and his crew actually went above and beyond to make our dream a reality. If I could give Jorge six stars, I would. In fact, we will probably be using him in the future for some other projects that we need done. As I read through some of the other yelp reviews, I couldn't help but feel like yes, yes, yes everything that they said is so true.

Called recieved a quote. The project turned out beautifully. Quality materials. Great work. I would definitely refer him. Unilock stone was used.

The paver ramp turned out better than I imagined!

Jorge and crew completed a retaining wall project for us over Memorial Day weekend. The project was completed on time, on budget and on point. Jorge was accommodating to our design alterations mid-project and the result is exactly what we wanted. We are elated over the results of our project. I never thought I'd be "elated" over a retaining wall, but becoming a homeowner brings joys and stresses you never expected. I will be recommending Diaz Landscaping to any and all who seek such services. Thanks again Jorge!

    Finished step, path & grading

Very impressive work by Diaz crew. Owner is responsive, helpful (great suggestions on stone options), flexible (we had larger porch project with delays that pushed back their work & resulted in more needs from them) & knowledgeable. Exceptional quality of paver pathway & stone, we are very pleased with the clear attention to detail. Professional, hardworking & skilled crew. We will definitely hire Diaz Landscape for future projects!

My husband sank these poles for the pergola, but Jorge Diaz laid all the pavers. He was easy to work with on this first chaotic day

Take the opportunity to grab 'em while you can. When Aspen gets busy, they get VERY busy, and Eric -- I conjecture -- don't quote me -- would need to turn away clients or ask them to go on a waiting list for the following year. Mr. Eric, Ms. Lindsey, and the rest of their brilliant crew have been working on a multi-year project for me putting in hardscape, including grading and, ultimately, changing (soft-scaping) our two acres from lawn to native plants+wildlife flower garden. Eric and crew are experts on native plants. The more I read about "lawns," the more I cringe every time I pass one on the road. Lawns, being non-native plants, they are animal-torturers -- ironically, lawns passively mow down animals. Think of lawns as efficient animal-disposal machines. Do the planet (and your neighborhood) a favor and make your land friendly to critters by insisting on native plants. Native plants and animals evolved together over millions of years, so when one's land doesn't have native plants, wildlife starves, all the way up and down the food-chain. Lawns are gasoline- and water-guzzlers. The lawn industry uses up a humongous amount of petroleum products merely in lawn-mowing. I am a "Gone the Lawn" person now. Lawns are appropriate ONLY under certain circumstances, like one is a croquet fanatic. I never knew that gardening was year-round. April is the month everyone waits for, but planning starts the previous autumn. Eric's physically-demanding season winds down in mid-November, so let him see your plot before the snows hide the land. Autumn is the best time to start brainstorming the design phase for the following April. Eric and crew are not only landscapers but artists.

We had met with a half dozen other firms regarding replacement of a deteriorated, timber-lined hillside path to the lakefront. There were significant challenges due to slope, established trees, and limited site access. We also wanted the new path to be integrated and consistent with the existing landscape. At our initial meeting with Joe, we were impressed by his enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to details. We worked with him for about six months to refine the design, address permitting issues and select materials. Joe was always responsive to requests, offered constructive recommendations and enhanced the project design. Beyond replacing the path, we added a patio and seating area. The project took four weeks to complete in the fall of 2023. Joe's crew was exemplary - they were talented craftsmen - expert hardscape installers who worked hard all day and were mindful of neighbors' concerns - which were very few. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are pleased to have worked with Joe and his Landscape Architecture team and with the completed project.

Joe and his crew modified the existing landscape and added several touches of there own- what a world of difference! They have an excellent eye for beauty, but also function, such that our yard seems to take care of itself (well, except for mowing). Recently, we had an incredibly challenging water issue at our boat house. The property is over 100 years old, so we were told there wasn't much to do to change the drainage. Joe and his crew solved the issue after a bit of research. Not only have we solved the flooding, but the new deck is stunning. The crew was meticulous in removing the old and sweeping up after the new installation. The boat house hasn't functioned or looked this good in 100 years!
