When I decided to just purchase a new one, the staff at Tri County appliance asked me questions on how I used my washer to help me make the best decision. Their expertise was clearly evident. We have been buying all our appliances here for the last 20+ years. Sales people are always knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are not that much higher than big-box stores, especially when considering free delivery and removal of old appliances. And the repair services provided have always been top-notch. There may be a longer wait than one would wish sometimes but that's just reinforcement that others as well have found them to be superior. read more

I want to share how pleased I was to have John, tech person make repairs for an almost antique gas stove top appliance. First he did some amazing research to locate the part for a Dacor stove burner for which parts are hard to identify. I had been unsuccessful for long stretch & was very pleased. I had Tri-County out to fix my Samsung dryer. The repairman did a great job! He replaced the heating unit in the dryer and had completed the job within 25 minutes. I live only 2 miles away from Tri-County. I understand the labor charge and the part replacement charge, but then they charge for a destination charge of $88.00. I live only 2 miles away....ridiculous. So $44.00 for 1 mile gas charges. Business started charging these destination charges when gas prices were over $4+ a gallon. These businesses remained charging even when the prices of gas came down. This is certainly a way for business to over charge their customer. That was the only thing I was unhappy with Tri-County bill. read more

they do not stand behind what they sell!! they sold us a washing machine that stopped working a few months after we bought it , did not offer to give us a new one instead decided to send technician to fix it, after the year of warranty was over, the machine broke down again!! tri- county then called us saying the charge for new parts would be over $200.00 its a shame and a (crime) that we still have places that take advantage of consumers without taking responsibility for the damaged merchandise they sell to others! read more

Service rep was on time and polite. I was quoted $110 for the service call and first 1/2 hour of service. He repaired dryer in just under an hour, and I was pleased with the cost and repair. I would use them again. read more

Washer issue where clothes knotting up around agitator. Didn't find anything wrong with the agitator but leveled out washer and adjusted drain line. While here, I had him check my oven. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the element. Would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs. read more

Bought some Frigidaire appliances at Best Buy. After 1 month our dishwasher was not working properly. Frigidaire assigned Tri County to repair it for us under warranty. Wayne came to our house, assessed what part needed to be replaced (motherboard). It has now been one month since Wayne has been at our house and they still have not called us back. I called twice for status and was told by rude receptionist that the part wasn't in yet. She did not tell me WHEN the part would be in. After 3 weeks I called Frigidaire and they assigned Main Appliance to come out and repair it 3 days later. Still waiting for Tri-County to call to schedule it....Poor customer service!! read more

Sure glad we made the easy drive to Oregon from Madison to check out this great store. We'd looked at Best Buy, Sears, Home Depot; had pretty much exhausted the Madison scene with only bleh results, when I happened to think of the good ol' Yellow Pages phone book--and there it was. Amazing how many gas ovens they had to look at (a lot of stuff stuffed in that little shop!), plus they can order pretty much anything, so it seems. Connie, the lady who helped us, was knowledgable, helpful, and a nice person besides! Bought our stove on Friday, delivered on Wednesday (although they had open spots earlier in the week, but I gotta work for a living...) The delivery guys ( sorry, I didn't get your names) were fast and efficient, gave me some pointers and answered my questions. And did I say we felt we got a great price besides? We'll definitely shop here again and are delighted there's still a small town family run business to deal with. Couldn't honestly give them 5 stars because I haven't needed attention or service yet, but I'm trusting they'll be great. I'll write another review if the time comes.. read more

I am absolutely amazed at the great customer service provided by Tri County Appliance. My dishwasher died and I have company coming this weekend with the entire family coming for dinner on Sunday. I went to their store at 11:30am this morning (Friday). They gave me a great deal on a new dishwasher with a very good warranty. They said they would try to fit me in the schedule, but were already overbooked for the day's deliveries and installations. They called an hour later and said they could be at my house in 5 minutes, which they were and the new dishwasher was installed by 1:23pm. I was able to purchase the dishwasher and had it installed within 2 hours!!! Cory and Rick did a great job installing it and even took time with their busy schedules to answer my questions and give me some instructions.
