We had our duct cleaned on Friday 3/4/2022. His pricing was a fixed amount per register and a set up fee. All very reasonable. The entire process took 3 hours and none of the dust came back into the house. Our house is 16 years old and according to Jean Paul this was the FIRST time the ducts were cleaned. After he left, I ended up cleaning off dirt from the wash machine, dryer, cleaned inside the dryer, and, he also left lots of lint on the laundry room floor and chunks of lint outside of the home that had to be picked up. Steve didn't give the opportunity to see how much lint he extracted. Steve arrived late and was only here for about 1/2 hour or less and charged about $119. We felt overcharged for this service.

Expensive service call yielded zero results. We have two CO detectors in our house, one upstairs,…read moreone in the basement. Both went off within seconds of each other just after I turned up the furnace in the morning. Bethke sends a tech out, I need to wait there and miss work, so that's not helping. Guy gets there, immediately makes up his mind that my detectors are faulty because they are old. Does a simple check for CO at the heat exchanger exhaust and the outlet into the ducts and comes up with a low CO reading. 20 mintues later, I'm $240 lighter with no real answer as to what happened. I checked my CO detectors later and they were working. So... I paid $240 for a half-assed, incomplete diagnostic by a monkey with a 5-gas analyzer. If I did that as an auto mechanic, I would be through. Do yourself a favor and call another company.

We called a couple of places around and they told us we were out of luck for a few days, but Bethke's dispatch team was really accommodating and had a tech, Mike, at our house within less than two hours. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the issue at hand and was able to fix it quickly. He also explained to me everything that he did, and I feel confident that I could do it myself now if it came down to it. He also gave me some helpful reminders about maintenance. I thought we were going to pay an arm and a leg, but the bill was the best part. Incredibly reasonable prices for lightning fast and thorough service. I would call these guys again in a heartbeat, and I think you should too.

Got my carpets done earlier today and the two gentlemen did a wonderful job. They even did a walk…read morethrough with my afterwards to go over some stains they couldn't get out. (Joys of having kids!!!) my carpet looks brand new and it doesn't smell and it's dried! It didn't take all day, only about an hour or so. But I am really happy with the service! The track marks are gone from my kids coming in and out and never taking their shoes off!! We are a family of 6 and we have a cat! Just imagine the funk we track in or carry with us on a daily basis! We've been living in our home for about 3 years or so and this was the first time we've gotten our carpets thoroughly cleaned! We do not plan on going that long again!!! They arrived around 2:30, left at 5:30, and carpets in my son's and my apartment at 10:15 pm are wet. Not damp. Wet. I called the Madison SS office midway through their cleaning and spoke with "Mike" to ask about the wet carpets and techs' failure to put any protection between the legs of wood furniture and wet carpet until I insisted, at least under the dining tables and living room furniture. Their and Mike's answer was "we don't always do that", and then Shane (and later, Mike) told me that third floor carpets are always wetter because they use a portable cleaner. I live on the first floor, Carpets in both apartments are equally wet. There's more but I'm getting ticked off all over again thinking about all this. I need a lot more of those foam leg squares than I was given (15 or so) at my insistence as the techs packed up to leave. My dining room chairs will be left in the hallway overnight. I even have a problem with how the bill was presented. Three residents in my complex were interested in seeing the results of this cleaning. They stopped by, felt the carpets, and I discouraged them from doing business with SS. I'm a prior customer for my own apartment and was happy with the results last time (different techs). Yes, as wet as they are, the carpets look good, now. Can't wait to see what I'll find when I walk around in clean socks over the next few days. I'm anticipating black, based on other reviews that talk about this same issue. Never again.
