I'm sitting inside the lobby area prior to my yoga workout class.

The instructors are amazing! Definitely call ahead and see the level of difficulty of each class. I've been to beginner level and advanced on accident. Definitely different vibes. Overall very relaxing both times, just much more challenging the second time lol. I will be going back for sure! They offer you cool eucalyptus towels for your forehead at the end of the hot yoga. It's amazing!!!!!

I did the 12pm last Thursday "Hot Power Flow" class aka lunch power hour, as Lauren Richardson, our yogi called it. Her sequences were so unique and she's a very inspirational teacher. I love how motivating and encouraging she is the entire class. The studio is super cute with boho vibes and plants all around the entrance. You must remove your shoes and leave them at the front. Then there are cubbies and lockers further inside near the hot room to store your personal belongings. They also have the cutest neon sign that says "Exhale, you're here now" and I loved that little reminder as I entered the hot yoga room. The temperature was mild and I would describe it as warm instead of hot. However, the flow that Lauren directed was power heavy so I still left very sweaty! There's lots of cute yoga merch for sale inside so you can buy yoga mats and clothing. They also provided a cold eucalyptus face towel at the end of the practice. The essential oil clears your airways right up and really helped me to get into resting mode faster. The ceiling fans are turned on when class is completed to help you cool down. They also share a parking lot with the neighboring businesses and they have reserved spaces for yoga students. The studio smells clean and they have an air Purifier with UltraHEPA, Carbon & VOC Filters. The floors inside the hot room felt clean and I read a note that they sanitize after every class. Will highly recommend trying them out if you love hot yoga and a creative challenging sequence!

I've been here a handful of times and I absolutely love it! It's such a great work out and the eucalyptus towels at the end are such a nice touch!! I always feel so nice after this.

Great class and instructor. But 50 people in a tiny room and no ventilation is claustrophobic! I understand its hot yoga, still the air must circulate! At one point, breathing was almost impossible and the smell got unbearable . The class is packed, you have very little space to try anything and every person receives a number where they should place their mats. To me, seems a bit greedy. Not coming back! There are at least 10 yoga studios in the area where they care about you and not just money!

The hot yoga class here is really nice. It is beginner friendly and it is a nice slow pace. My only suggestion would be to have smaller class sizes as the class did feel a bit crowded. The studio itself is very nice and clean and the staff was very welcoming.

I absolutely love everything about this place. Grace is an amazing instructor, who did a great job of making me feel welcomed to the studio, and was very helpful. I really love the variety of classes to choose from. Yes you have the option to either take the class virtually, in person, they also have the option of doing Yoga outside at the Sculpture Gardens. Overall, I just love the whole vibe of this place. You feel great coming in, and you feel better even coming out. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is interested in doing Yoga for newbies, and the Yoga Guru's.

It seems like many of them have been going there snd are familiar with one another. After class a few women made it a point to talk to me and made me feel welcome. It gives off a very community driven location which is something we should all be looking for in a fitness studio.

The Bar Method is the first and (so far) only place that has motivated me enough to stay consistent with a workout routine. Before choosing The Bar Method, my workout buddy and I had tried other Barre/Pilates places. What made me choose The Bar Method over the others to start: -the amazing promos and affordable pricing; have to be mindful with budgeting in this economy y'all (send me a message if you want a comparison chart LOL fr) -honest; transparency with pricing and information, unlike some others -flexibility; there is NO membership sign up fee, there is NO membership cancellation fee, there is NO minimum commitment, they allow membership freezing for up to 3 months (just let them know the month before) WITHOUT a freeze fee for 2 times a year, there is no penalty for class cancellation 2 HOURS before class starts (there IS a fee if you cancel after this window and/or if you no-show, but you can call before class to explain if there is an emergency and they are understanding in these cases), and you can come to class 10 minutes late max (DO NOT make a habit of this tho!! I only mention this because other places lock their doors as soon as class starts) -variety of class start times; 6am-5:45/7pm M-Th, 6am-12:15pm Fri, 8:15-10:30am Sat, 9:30-11:30am Sun as of May 2025 What made me stay: -"low impact, high reward"; this is in their website and it is true, you feel the burn/shakes/soreness without doing exaggerated movements and you WILL get a WHOLE BODY work out while they guide/direct you on proper form as well as emphasize strategies to ensure your joints/back are protected at all times -improved overall strength, balance, posture, and mental health; the Bar Method has truly become my happy place, plus my knees no longer crackle-pop while climbing up the stairs! -variety of classes; bar method, cardio, strength, bar flow (like yoga), then some include restore (stretching) and some combos (30/30) -ALL of the instructors, which includes the owner; they know your name by your first class and onwards, are genuinely nice, will challenge you in the best way possible, and celebrate YOU (such as class milestones/your birthday) -the community; you truly feel like a part of the Bar Method Family Fun bonuses: -happy hours -special member classes every so often; sometimes themed -monthly challenges and raffles; I love me sum free socks and goodies heehee TL;DR, I love the Bar Method and you will too. I have not worked out or done much physical activity since I had a baby, so one of my goals is to increase my mobility and flexibility before just jumping back into exercise. She let me know that non-slip grippy socks are required which was good to know. They do have them available for purchase in store if you forget or need to get some. Upon arrival, I was kindly greeted and instructed to remove my shoes and get ready with my socks on. My flexologist was Mackenzie and she was wonderful. She walked me back to the stretch bench and began to explain the process and everything she was going to be doing. First, they have you take a quick Physmodo scan which involves doing some squats on a screen and it assesses your mobility, posture, activation, and symmetry. This tells the flexologist the areas that they need to focus on, and they customize each stretch session specifically to your needs. My scans revealed that I was especially tight in my hamstrings, neck, and hips. Then you lay down on the table and they begin to gently stretch your full body. Wow, it felt amazing and I didn't want it to end! It should never be painful and Mackenzie checked in with me often to make sure I was comfortable. It's almost like physical therapy. After my session, they provided me with more info on their memberships and pricing. While I really wanted to commit to a membership, I did have a bit of sticker shock. A single stretch session goes up to $115 each time or a membership is $299/month which includes 4 stretch sessions... basically one per week. I unfortunately just could not justify the cost, but I really did enjoy the experience. They have a $49 special for your first 50-minute intro session and it is 100% worth trying!
