I'm sitting inside the lobby area prior to my yoga workout class.

The instructors are amazing! Definitely call ahead and see the level of difficulty of each class. I've been to beginner level and advanced on accident. Definitely different vibes. Overall very relaxing both times, just much more challenging the second time lol. I will be going back for sure! They offer you cool eucalyptus towels for your forehead at the end of the hot yoga. It's amazing!!!!!

I did the 12pm last Thursday "Hot Power Flow" class aka lunch power hour, as Lauren Richardson, our yogi called it. Her sequences were so unique and she's a very inspirational teacher. I love how motivating and encouraging she is the entire class. The studio is super cute with boho vibes and plants all around the entrance. You must remove your shoes and leave them at the front. Then there are cubbies and lockers further inside near the hot room to store your personal belongings. They also have the cutest neon sign that says "Exhale, you're here now" and I loved that little reminder as I entered the hot yoga room. The temperature was mild and I would describe it as warm instead of hot. However, the flow that Lauren directed was power heavy so I still left very sweaty! There's lots of cute yoga merch for sale inside so you can buy yoga mats and clothing. They also provided a cold eucalyptus face towel at the end of the practice. The essential oil clears your airways right up and really helped me to get into resting mode faster. The ceiling fans are turned on when class is completed to help you cool down. They also share a parking lot with the neighboring businesses and they have reserved spaces for yoga students. The studio smells clean and they have an air Purifier with UltraHEPA, Carbon & VOC Filters. The floors inside the hot room felt clean and I read a note that they sanitize after every class. Will highly recommend trying them out if you love hot yoga and a creative challenging sequence!

I've been here a handful of times and I absolutely love it! It's such a great work out and the eucalyptus towels at the end are such a nice touch!! I always feel so nice after this.

Great class and instructor. But 50 people in a tiny room and no ventilation is claustrophobic! I understand its hot yoga, still the air must circulate! At one point, breathing was almost impossible and the smell got unbearable . The class is packed, you have very little space to try anything and every person receives a number where they should place their mats. To me, seems a bit greedy. Not coming back! There are at least 10 yoga studios in the area where they care about you and not just money!

What can I say! I love Project 7 Yoga!…read more I have been coming to this studio on and off for years (starting back in 2018-ish). During the earlier stages of my time coming here, I'd usually only go to their Yin / Deep Stretch classes because I had a pretty solid work-out regime outside of yoga. So, the deep stretching was a great balance to my primarily cardio-based routine. It was not until last year, that I fully committed to a membership and it's been the best decision I have ever made. Though I am not a complete novice to the practice of yoga (as I have been doing it on and off with no real consistency since middle school when it was recommended as physical therapy to me by my doctor), I am a novice to being consistent with my practice of yoga. Signing up for a membership, has been the game changer. The instructors are amazing. Patient yet encouraging. They take the time to learn your face (and name) which just makes attending the studio feel that just more like a supportive friend group. Though, they offer primarily heat based classes, do not FEAR it. The heat is bearable. It's almost as if with each passing move you are sweating out the negative energy of the day, toxins, and any bad vibes you may have had following you that day. You leave feeling refreshed, inspired and deeply proud of yourself for showing up for YOU. Needless to say, I am a total fan of this studio. The space is clean and there is ample parking. They offer great membership packages as well as reasonable drop-in class prices. They also host various restorative events like crystal bowl meditations. And if yoga is your calling, fret not, because you can also go through instructor training under their tutelage. I say all that to finally say, if you have not been, I definitely recommend giving this studio a go! You won't regret it! Peace & Love. Namaste.

First and foremost I see they are very strict on time so make sure you don't lose out on your money. I believe I got there a little over a minute or two and as soon as I came through the door I was checked in by the instructor and she pretty much gave me a very short intro of hi and have you done Vinyasa before? I replied yoga yes but not much of an expert. After that front door was locked so no one could enter during which I was instructed to place my belongings and shoes in the cubby. We then went into a small room due to event taking place in the main larger room that day. It was a tight spaced room but we pretty much fit just by the mark. The class were on a more advanced level and positions moved very quickly. I miraculously kept up for the most part but my wrists aren't that strong so had to alter some of the positions sometimes to cater to that. I for sure got some heat in and lil sweat so the work out was definitely there and appreciated. I do enjoy some good stretch's as well which it had some but more of a combined mix of balancing, standing, and dog ward down with it. I would have love to go to a gentle class to see if I can really can commit and since it's more at my yoga level. I can see this is def my cup of tea its just the steep membership prices has me contemplating.

Calvin and Teresa welcome you at the door and there you see some great CPY merch. Beyond that is one small room. Recently I've given a few yoga studios a try while deciding to get back into a more regular practice. I revisited CPY and realized how much is missed it/how much better it suited me than many other local studios. The focus of the ashtanga practice at CPY is not just fitness (though that's an added side effect) but rather on breathing and being present. I've also been getting into mindful meditation and their style pairs well with it. It's totally non-judgmental and the studio is incredibly inviting. This starts with the instructors. Theresa and Calvin make you feel immediately welcome and treat you like a friend in a way that feels totally authentic. The classes are challenging but you're encouraged to take breaks in child's pose and listen to your body. At the end of the practice is a Shavasana that will have you feeling calm and relaxed on the way back to your car. Another lovely touch is that they offered wonderfully aromatic tea as you left the class. It's a little touch but many little touches like this create a wonderful overall experience. The one thing I wish is that they had earlier classes for those who want to get a class in before work (currently the earliest is 9am). Otherwise, I wouldn't change a single thing. It's my favorite studio in Orlando and I really look forward to the classes!
