All you can eat sushi and sashimi, ($27) my kind of restaurant! And it was very good! So yummy Just check out my pics ! Everything was fresh , good quality and delicious! Service was friendly & attentive and all our orders came fast ! We went on a weekday but the place was almost full! I guess the word about this gem has reached a good number of people to no surprise. It's a small place but very comfortable, tables are not crammed together. They don't have a liquor license but you can bring your own for a $10 corkage fee. Just go !

UPDATE: The service was sooo much better because they hired another girl to help and I didn't recognize her the last time. GREAT SERVICE. She gave us new paper right away and also was very attentive from beginning to end. I GIVE HER 5 STARS ON CUSTOMER SERVICE! Now onto the nigiri sushi. PLEASE LOOK AT MY VIDEO & PICTURE. This is how they cheat you! PAPER THIN SLICES OF SUSHI ON A BED OF GIANT SIZE RICE. Welp! It'll be a while til we try this place again. I recommend getting the rolls since those portion of fish to rice ratio is alot better, but nilgiri sushi was definitely a disappointment and sad to say cheating us with how ridiculously THIN the slice of fish was a top of the rice. I get it right? AYCE sushi was very enticing, but if you get served this measly paper thin sushi on a giant bed of rice if rather go elsewhere for my NIGIRI. Out Right WRONG! Honestly I feel like we're just paying for rice at this point with the nigiri sushi. -_-

An all you can eat sushi restaurant is very popular in Las Vegas, where instead of a buffet that has old items and people hovering over the food, you can order off of a menu of assorted items that are made to order. It's a wonderful format and I hope more restaurants do this. Fukuya is a welcome addition in this aspect. Once I heard about fukuya, it's been on my list. I finally had a chance to come by on a Saturday off peak time. Service was quick and attentive. Close to when you finish most of the food in front of you, the waitress arrived with a new menu if you want to order more. I didn't take pictures of the all you can eat paper menus, but they are the same as what I saw in the gallery for fukuya. As you can see from my pics, I was able to enjoy many sashimi and nigiri -- mostly salmon, tuna, and unagi. The common complaint at some ayce sushi places is there is too much rice on the sushi or rolls. I will say fukuya puts a reasonable and average amount of rice on its sushi, maybe sometimes leaning on just a little too much. But since ordering sashimi without any rice is an option, I ate a mix and was great. There were rolls available to order but I did not -- I like nigiri and sashimi mostly. Appetizers were small so you can sample many of them, and then repeat any you like. The fish was all fresh. The only complaint I may have would be the Tuna was on the lower side of flavor. Salmon was great. I enjoyed my meal, and if you can eat more than the equivalent of 2 or 3 rolls, it's also cost-friendly. A choice of ice cream is also included. I'll be back for sure.

Great price and good sushi for AYCE. Just be sure to arrive early enough to enjoy the full 2 hours. Make sure you eat what you order or they will charge you $1 a piece for leftovers. One star taken off bc they stopped taking orders 45min prior to closing and did not let us know upon arrival. Other than that, we enjoyed it.

Affordable ayce sushi at 21.99 in Maryland!! I came on a weekday night for an early dinner at 5 PM. There was no wait which was really nice as I have seen other reviews mentioning a long wait. The restaurant was very tidy when we came in. The overall restaurant isn't too big, we were sat at the front of the restaurant but I noted there were a couple of tables toward the back. We ordered a variety of items from the ayce menu. Items Ordered: Miso soup Seaweed salad Yaki beef and chicken (skewered meat) Salmon sashimi Tuna sashimi Red clam sashimi Unagi sashimi (eel) Salmon nigiri Shrimp tempura Sweet potato tempura California roll Yellowtail scallion roll Sweet potato roll (not pictured) Godzilla roll Volcano roll Spider man roll Vanilla ice cream (not pictured) Fresh fruit (not pictured) I think overall the food is very affordable for an ayce menu. Though it's not the best quality, I think it's quite decent for the price you're paying. My favorite items were the salmon sashimi, Godzilla roll, spider man roll, sweet potato roll, Yaki beef, miso soup, and seaweed salad. I do like that there's a lot of variety between sushi and cooked items because I feel like you have a lot of options to find something you enjoy. It definitely satisfied my craving for sushi and it's a great deal for an ayce restaurant. A must try if you're in the area but expect a wait if you're going during a busy time (e.g. Friday night dinner).

This is an AYCE sushi spot. You order and they make it on the spot. I came here on a busy Friday evening and did not call ahead to be put on the waitlist. The wait was almost 2 hours, but well worth it considering all of the food you get for $25. The highlights include the galbi, salmon teriyaki, shrimp tempura, white tuna + salmon sashimi, Glen Burnie, Fukuya and the Salmon lover rolls were delicious. The ambience here is nice as well. Seating can be a little tight, but it's a long hallway full of tables for a party of 4. Fish was fresh and the hot dishes were good. Don't expect a long wait between dishes. The servers were attentive and patient with our orders. You get a nice variety of menu items to choose from.

I was excited to hear that a new sushi place opened in Glen Burnie with an AYCE option. We came in as a party of 2 a little early for dinner at 5pm on a Friday because other reviews mentioned a long wait time. I was still surprised at how many tables were filled when we got there, perhaps they all had the same strategy! We were seated right away and were in and out in right about an hour, and by then there were 3 parties waiting when we left. Naturally we both decided to do the AYCE menu. The variety of items on the menu were good with a mix of appetizers, rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and dessert, though I wish there had been more variety in the specialty rolls available. The quality of the rolls were good. The soy sauce on the table was unlabeled but it tasted like a weaker soy sauce to me. Our waitress did not speak more than 5 words to us during our visit. I personally care more about quality of the food and prompt service than personal interaction, so this did not bother me, but noting it for those who seek a more traditional sit down experience. It is a fast paced environment at dinner so write down what you want and give the paper to them as they run by!

Wrote my original review on 2/15 and visited again on 2/23 and until then everything was just as good if not better than our first visit. However, went here for dinner with some friends last night and things have changed slightly. The restaurant was still packed but compared to their original weeks of service, it was particularly slower and the waitress was not as welcoming or attentive as the other 2 times we had visited here. With that said, there was a help wanted sign so maybe they were short staffed and/or the staff working had been working longer than usual shifts. They've managed to keep the price at $21.99 but we did notice that the maki rolls had doubled with much more rice! Please warned so that you do not over order and find yourself unable to finish everything! Let's end on a high note, the Yaki Beef skewers are really flavorful and tender!! Don't sleep on this one!

This is an AYCE Japanese restaurant, which I don't think we have another one in DMV area. We went there are a weekend lunch. The price is $21.99 per person. We add two sodas (refillable) for $2.50/person. The sushi and sashimi is at my expectation. Good quality compare to any regular sushi restaurant. I will recommend their Eel sushi and sashimi, yellow tail maki, and salmon sashimi (I am a huge fan of salmon). I will also highly recommend their teriyaki chicken and beef for hot items. These are way better than any teriyaki entrees you can get from mall food court or Quickway. Tender, flavorful, balanced, but not salty or overly sweet. Base on the quality, I think it worths every penny to order to-go items. The dinning area is a little small. You might want to be there a little early to avoid waiting. The food comes out pretty quick. But be sure to order carefully, especially the maki and special rolls. They are full-size with 6-8 pieces per order. In general, these special rolls are fine, but I don't think their special rolls are as impressive as their other menu items.

I decided to try this place out since it's the only AYCE sushi place in the area and it recently opened up. It's part of small strip mall right by the pet store, House of Tropicals. We stopped by during weekend lunch hour and were seated right away. Took a while for someone to come around after being seated though. We ordered miso and mushroom soups, bunch of rolls, yaki chicken/beef and chicken udon. We ordered 6 special rolls but only 5 came out. Everything tasted decent but the fish were thinly sliced and wasabi looked dry and ginger didn't look too fresh. We would give this place another try if we want variety but wouldn't go for quality sushi.

The food was good, but what really stood out was the great service and the price. Are you getting the best sushi in the DMV? not quite, but it was pretty decent for a hole in the wall spot in Glen Burnie. We were satisfied with our time and our meal. Everything is made to order, so the hot food was still hot and the sushi rolls were freshly rolled. You can see the chefs at the counter working their crafts. It's nonstop during a busy dinner rush. Make sure to pace yourself as the rolls can get filling with all the rice. We didn't leave anything on our plates but the server will warn you that excessive leftovers will have a charge. As this is an Asian establishment with Asian staff, there are many possibilities for language barriers. Another reviewer said "we were the only English speakers there" and after visiting, I get what they meant. Even with the challenges, with patience, we can all understand each other. Outside of that, the servers were wonderful and very attentive. WIth the restaurant packed and only had 2 servers, we never felt like we were neglected. The location is a little sketchy, so be aware of your surroundings. Someone got mugged outside of the liquor store around the corner while I was inside (I guess safely) buying drinks to go with our meal. Oh yeah - BYOB! They have soft drinks and tea, but no alcohol offered. For real though, please be careful.

Good service Great food They have ala carte And they have all you can eat Not buffet- every thing made to order Handicap accessible Definitely worth the stop if you are going to BWI Ps we were the only English speakers

This place was ok! We've tried a few other ACYE & I feel like this one the fish didn't feel as fresh. I really only like liked the spider roll & soups. They did have a few more options like the teriyaki but I wish there were a few more options. All in all it was decent for $27 per person but I feel like some places have more options or more quality food for the price.

I am a lover of tuna and regardless of the roll I order, specialty or regular tuna, they are all delicious. Even the spicy tuna rolls, which can just taste mushy and like filler at other places, is pleasantly filled with tuna. Highly recommend the samurai roll (bottom roll in my photo). Service: 5/5 always quick and kind service, and the owners visit the tables to make sure everything is going well. Ambiance: quiet restaurant with the ability to seat parties of 2 to 8 people.

My family and I came in for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival, I was shocked to see how packed it was, but that was telling of how good their food is. There were a lot of birthdays being celebrated that evening, and it was a Wednesday. They had a private room available, but there is a food minimum and you have to take your shoes off (floor table set up). Though we were offered the option, we decided to just sit in the main area since we were coming with a few older family members and didn't want them to struggle to put shoes back on later and they prefer sitting in chairs. They have sushi, teriyaki, platters and combination dishes. We all had something different, ordering from the combination options, teriyaki and some sushi on the side. Since we all ordered a special, it came with miso soup and salad. The food was brought out in a staggered manner - three out of the five of us got our food before the others, and they almost finished half of their dish before ours even came out. I had the beef teriyaki and I was shocked to see that it was a large piece of beef, and we were given knives to cut it up. I am used to the meats being already cut up, so this was different. The food was still good though! I will say that I wish there were more broccoli, than bean sprouts accompanying the meat - the dish was still delicious though! The chunk of meat was so large that I actually had leftovers to bring home as a second meal. The sushi was impressive. Not only was the selection so large and I wanted to order every single one of the special rolls (but I didn't because my eyes tend to be bigger than my stomach), they use all fresh ingredients. The shumai was unimpressive, but because everything else was good, I didn't really mind it. I feel like my rice bowl was not full, as most restaurants pack the rice into the bowl; whereas I felt like there were air pockets in mine so there was a little less. To my surprise, they had a decent dessert menu: several ice cream options, variety of mochi and a few cake selections. Because they knew we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with different cookies to share! It came out with a sparkler, and the employees singing along to a soundtrack played on the speakers. This really made my sister feel so special, and as I said before, it seemed like most of the larger parties there were also celebrating a birthday that evening. Delicious food, friendly service, easy parking and fun atmosphere!

Shoyou seemed to have good reviews so we walked in without reservations. Looking at the menu we thought oh the three of us can easily demolish 2 regular maki rolls and maybe 3 special rolls. Nope. My favorite of the special rolls was actually the spider roll which was made with softshell crab(and not pictured as it was promptly devoured) Would recommend if you're in the Baltimore area and want to support a local restaurant in a nice neighborhood. I also noticed they did the same for other tables, which really shows how much they care about the experience. I ordered four pieces in order from left to right: the maguro, albacore, sea bream, and toro. The maguro truly melted in my mouth. The albacore was delicious with a surprisingly generous portion. The sea bream was probably my least favorite of the lineup but still very good. The toro was easily my personal favorite, and I could have eaten 100 of those. Each order comes with two pieces which made trying different options even better. I also got the baked mussels and wowowowow they were so good. I genuinely wanted to order another round but I was already full. This is the closest spot I have found to an omakase style experience without actually doing a full omakase. It has more flavor, great presentation, and a little extra dazzle instead of just plain fish on rice. The only downside was that parking was a bit tough, but it was absolutely worth it for the quality of the meal. Highly recommend!
