Stopped by here while in town. This is a quick takeout spot, they have bar stools you can sit on while you wait for your food, the restaurant was modern looking and clean. There were no customers while I was in the restaurant, so no long wait. There are many combinations of meat options to choose from. I ordered the salmon and chicken hibachi with fried rice and vegetables. It was a lot of food and it was decent. The salmon were very thin slices of salmon and a little too over cooked for my liking, but not inedible. I came here recently with a large group of people. As a fast food-type restaurant, this place was certainly quick to make all our orders. I got their self-stated best dish: the Hibachi Chicken. I opted to replace the rice with noodles instead. Their sauce was fine. I wish they gave me a little more chicken - they seemed to not give the same amount of each meat to each of us. They are very similar to Sarku, another fast food hibachi place. One huge pro of Quickway is the price; my Hibachi Chicken cost only $8, and I had enough leftover to make a second meal out of the visit. Parking is plentiful. Quickway is in a strip mall area behind a Chick-fil-a. Just make sure not to get lost in the Chick-fil-a parking lot like we did. The seating inside Quickway is still partially blocked off for covid (certain tables have notes on them saying not to sit there), but there are some tables outside with umbrellas for shade. I ordered the Salmon & Shrimp Combo and my son ordered Hibachi Salmon. We also ordered an Avocado wrapped Shrimp Tempura. Loved the amount of food for the price. Several nice size pieces of salmon, nice portions of rice and cabbage. Could have either used larger shrimp or added more to the entree. Also, you shouldn't say, with vegetables if you only have cabbage. There was one little slice of a carrot and one single baby sized piece of broccoli Overall the dishes were very tasty My salmon was cooked a little too long which made it dry. Ordered a couple of sushi rolls, pot sticker and egg rolls and Door Dashed it to my hotel. No chopsticks or eating utensils - nothing, not even a napkin. Had to go downstairs and ask the front desk for utensils. When I opened the sushi it had fake crab draped over the roll and what I can only describe as store bought Yum Yum sauce poured all over it. There was nothing Yum Yum about it. The second roll had a very oddly colored avocado draped over it. It too looked artificial - like it had food coloring on it. It too was barely edible. Next came the pot sticker. No sauce was included. The pot stickers were overcooked and spongy from being saturated with oil. Finally, the egg rolls. Those too did not come with any dipping sauce. When I bit into one I looked to see where the contents were. I could barely see some green something in there, with what looked like gelatin. I gave the second one a try - same thing: barely any filling and mostly just the deep fried skin. Over all they were 0-4 for everything I ordered. If you're looking for Japanese food, don't look here for anything even remotely resembling eatable food. read more

I'm a little surprised by all the negative reviews here. It's not like quickway is marketing itself as an authentic Japanese restaurant but you basically get what you pay for. You can get cheap hibachi food and you get lots of it. They also have sushi and poke. I always come to this center when I go to hoyts to watch a movie. Might as well pay and get actual food for a decent price than buy some expensive popcorn and drinks. This center has quickway, chipotle, potbelly, Dunkin' Donuts, chick fla, and glory days grill. I ordered a chicken hibachi with noodles. It was about $7 and you get so much food. Food gets done relatively quick but they don't give you the yum yum sauce with your order anymore. I ordered the beef and shrimp bento box with noodles. The shrimp and noodles were good. The beef was not what I was expecting and was not very good. My husband said his chicken tasted much better than the beef. The sides in the bento box were decent and included a couple mini spring rolls, four piece California roll, and two potstickers. 3 star for a few reasons. Its brand spanking new, so they are working out the kinks in the operation. However there are other Quickways in the area. So I would I have visited 2 in days and I have had the same out come. The person at the register... not the friendliest. Its like they are waiting for you to speak, however I am the customer, so at the very least all I want is "Welcome to Quickway or Hi How are you or something... I mean it was like a stare down both times. I initiated the conversation, with Hi , Id like to order........ My next issue is both times I asked for brown steamed rice and I ended up with white rice. Now once the order is complete its pushed to the end of the line and there is a person there bagging the food. The second I went I was on to pay attention to my rice. SO I point out to him, I wanted brown rice not rice. And he asked me if I wanted extra sauce, I said no, I want brown rice. He said something not understandable ( also not looking at me ) bagged my food up and handed me my bag. Now the only reason I actually accepted this was because I needed to pick my kid up and I was already running a little behind on time. This comes with mixed veggies. Well I got cabbage. Both times it came out like this. Like literally 99% cabbage. See my pic. I haven't been to any of the other Quickways, but I was't happy about my experiences . Will I be back yes, I just know now what to pay attention to. If they don't sell steam brown rice, I wish someone would let me know, instead ignoring me. The chicken had the wonderful flat top grill crunch to some pieces, the sauce was nice... not to sweet. The white ( while that was not what ordered) was sticky, but not mush.
