To say I'm disappointed would honestly be giving this place too much credit. For a brand-new business, this was an absolute disaster. I spent nearly $60 that could've gone toward a solid meal at any number of sit-down restaurants nearby, only to be served greasy, flavorless food. I'm still trying to figure out how chicken can somehow not taste like chicken. The boba tea was just as bad. The tapioca pearls were so overcooked they dissolved into mush, making it completely undrinkable. I ended up throwing it away as it was undrinkable. In hindsight, I should have taken the hint when the place was empty during its grand opening. Still, I wanted to support a new local spotbut that goodwill quickly disappeared. Beyond the terrible food, the cleanliness was alarming. The "new" tables and chairs looked like they had never been wiped down, as if they'd already seen years of use. There were even dead bugs scattered around the space. It was genuinely unsettling. What pushed this experience from bad to unacceptable was witnessing an employee use the restroom while still wearing black latex food-service gloves--and then return to handling food without changing them. That's not just careless, it's a serious health concern. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place needs immediate attention from health inspectors before anyone else has to deal with this.

This is a great new fast-casual spot for Japanese hibachi, similar to Sarku but with its own unique touch. I ordered the chicken and shrimp with vegetables and white rice, and everything was cooked to order--fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The owner personally took my order and was very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. They also offer chicken wings with a variety of flavors, which I'm definitely interested in trying on my next visit. For drinks, they have a wide selection, including custom-made smoothies, milk teas, boba teas, as well as fountain and bottled options. Overall, it's a solid spot for a quick, tasty meal, and I'm looking forward to coming back again.

A very similar setup to Quickway or Sarku Japan. I was craving some hibachi and saw this was a new restaurant that opened up nearby. I enjoyed the hibachi chicken (not overly saucy). If there was one thing I have to say stood out it was the shrimp tempura. Ultra crunchy and exactly what you'd want from a fried food! My only critique is I wish there was a bit more protein (there was plenty of rice) but definitely will be adding this to one of my local favorites for a quick meal when I don't want to cook.

    Chicken & Beef

I got the chicken with beef which took a very decent time only 10 minutes. Though the restaurant itself didn't have many people. I feel like there could be more menu specificity and a little less variety. The chicken itself was crisp and so was the beef. I really had an affinity for the sauce that they used. I feel like they could have lowered the rice content a little bit but overall a good bang for your buck meal.

Chicken and beef bento box with fried rice

Flame just opened last week, so first time visiting. Was a bit skeptical on how quality would be given the ambiance when you walk in, however food quality and amount was really great. I got the chicken and beef bento box with fried rice, and it was incredible.

The place is bright, colorful, really fun energy the second you walk in. They've got a Street Fighter arcade cabinet and a soccer table, so you can talk trash to whoever you came with while sipping your drink. Pretty hard to beat that combo. My wife got the pineapple coconut piña colada slushy and was raving about it the whole time, she used her favorite word: refreshing, describing it as not too sweet, and that it hit the spot just right. Me? I was too busy losing at Street Fighter to focus. The staff were awesome too, friendly & helpful without being overbearing, actually seemed like they enjoyed being there. Just a fun spot. The kind of place you tell people about after. We'll definitely be back.

When I told her that I was looking for a coffee-based bubble tea, she let me try the tapioca balls that have coffee in them. After learning about all the options, I ended up making a cold coffee bubble tea that had their iced coffee, Hokkaido milk, tapioca balls, and the coffee-bursting tapioca balls. It was really delicious. The owner came out to say hi too. He shares that all the ingredients are imported from his native Taiwan. How wonderful! I will be back to try more of the various tea bases and toppings!

From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without feeling overbearing. I stopped by for a weekend lunch and ordered the #38 cold noodle dish with beef and shrimp, and it absolutely delivered. The noodles were refreshing and perfectly balanced, while the combination of beef and shrimp made the dish surprisingly hearty without feeling heavy. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I also ordered the jasmine iced tea, which was easily one of the best parts of the meal. It had the perfect level of sweetness -- light, smooth, and incredibly refreshing. Overall, this spot exceeded my expectations. Simple setting, outstanding food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be making my way back here very soon.

They also cooked the onions too. I didn't even eat the pho because of how off putting this was. By the time I got home to open and see this monstrosity, they were closed. Oddly enough she opened and showed me all of the other take out boxes before I left and didn't do that with the Pho. I called the next morning and the lady cited that the Health Department told them they can only serve the rare steak for dine in. No offer to refund just the apology. Which with the price of food, I felt like I should've been provide with some kind of compensation for the missing information when I ordered. Had I known in advance, I definitely would have skipped ordering Pho. So be warned not worth it to get pho to go if you like the rare steak versus the dried out over cooked well done they send you with. Egg rolls These were just okay, they were fried well just lacked flavor in the contents. The plum sauce was overly sweet, so much that it was like eating spoons of sugar. This also dish was inedible. Vermicelli chicken The chicken had a nice ginger presence from the marinade. The sauce that comes with it was also overly sweet. Which was off putting when added to the entree. Decent portion size. I am not sure why they add sooo much sugar to all of the meals. I found the flavors were too Americanized for my palette. It wasn't for my soul, maybe it's for yours?
