In cali, I've been on the search for a pumpkin latte with cold foam AND WHEN I TELL YOU SUCH GREAT FLAVOR! It is sweet but you still get the taste of coffee that I long for in sweet lattes! I personally like my milk base to be non dairy for the creamy effect it usually gives but cold foam is okay to have dairy in AND BOTH PAIRD AMAZINGLY! The coffee shop is small but gives such a welcoming feeling and it looks like a nice place to just sit and have a drink or for a quick stop like we did! What a gem! We were on US40 on our way to the Youghiogheny recreation area to see the old bridge. We were looking for a place to get something to eat and Fuel Coffee Works stood out. We wanted just about everything on the menu board. We went with a chai latte, a yogurt parfait, and pepperoni rolls. All of was great. The decor of the place is very clean and eclectic. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular. This food gave us the energy to put in over 10,000 steps traipsing about the dry Youghiogheny lake bottom. read more

The latte was delicious and perfectly made, and the chocolate chip were delicious--especially if you put them in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Friendly and helpful service. I have passed this place numerous times on the way to Ohiopyle. Today, I finally stopped in. It was around 9am and the parking lot was busy. I walked in and only two people were in line ahead of me and everything moved quickly. I ordered a dirty chai and a cinnamon roll. The dirty chai was probably the best I've ever had. It was heavy on the chai spice and not really sweet at all. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Definitely fresh, not dry at all, and the icing has a little maple flavor to it. The decor inside is adorable. There is a ton of seating and a lot of people were in there enjoying their food and drinks and chatting away. The bathroom was clean bc stocked with soap and paper towels. I would definitely recommend! read more

If you're passing through or staying at Nemacolin, this place is a MUST. The coffee/lattes were so fresh and delicious. I had to come back a 2nd day and to my delight they had fresh made breakfast sandwiches with egg and sausage on a croissant. The sausage is unlike anything I've ever had, it was so fresh and none of it was processed. Before you leave, and I mean every word of what I'm typing...you HAVE to get the Apple fritter! I have never, EVER in my life had anything so dang delicious and so fresh. It was perfection and now all I can do is talk about that fritter. My husband ordered a white mocha latte and said it was far better than anything Starbucks had ever made him. The staff had smiling faces and were very welcoming. Wow - this is the type of coffee shop that is needed along Route 40. I'd love to see a few more of these from Washington PA to I-68! It's great that they open at 7 for early travelers to Nemacolin and Ohio Pyle. Also for the locals! The coffee was great - the barista did a wonderful job on my cortado. She tossed her first milk because it was too hot. That's a sign that she knows what she's doing! The case had a nice selection of baked goods, but I did not sample on this visit. There's not food, but around the corner is Bittersweet that has fantastic dining for a quick bite. This will definitely be a regular stop along Route 40. read more

The owner is always out and greeting you with a warm smile and welcoming mood. The coffee is perfect every time for me and I've many great and many bad coffees. Once thing this place does extremely well is the temperature of the coffee. Every time it's the perfect temp to drink it from the moment I get it. The cookies and donuts they have are amazing and honestly cravable where you want one at 2am haha. My personal favorites this past season were the breakfast croissant bacon sandwiches, blueberry square baked good, nut roll cookies & the flavor of the months frozen coffees. I highly appreciate their reasonable prices, super friendly employees, relaxing artsy atmosphere & prompt/accurate service. Also, super impressive knowing the family has kept this property similar to what it once was in the past - a local full service gas station. I remember, as a child, stopping there with my grandparents. They'd treat me to an ice cream while they'd play their lottery. As a teenager, when I learned to drive, I'd frequently stop there to fill up. They also plugged my tire a time or two!
