Morning Fod sandwich and Carmel Macchiato coffee

Man what a great place!! We got the breakfast brew and morning fog sandwiches with the Carmel macchiato and the badger tea latte. Man oh man it was all delicious. The badger latte was so yummy, I absolutely loved the honey and sugar around the rim. The everything bagel has such an amazing flavor. Michael and Anais were so awesome, welcome and friendly! The location is cozy and inviting, clean and comfortable. Will be back for my next visit to Morgantown and I highly recommend for all coffee and tea drinkers.

Today's specialty coffee, an espresso from Indonesia and a plum and feta scone. YUM!!!!!

Still love it! Delicious sandwiches and the soup WAS AMAZING! The chocolate brown with the Lady Grey Tea mixed in was not my personal favorite but I can see other peoples preference of it! Always excellent coffee.

We were passing through town on the way home to DC from vacation and decided to try this place out. It has a calm atmosphere and the owner was very friendly to my girlfriend and I. The tea selection seemed pretty good, but I was craving a white tea and that happened to be the only tea that wasn't available at the time. I typically don't go for flavored teas, but the French Vanilla ended up having a great smell and light clean taste that I found myself enjoying. (More of a cozy evening tea to relax and read with) The coffee options are a little limited (This is a tea focused environment after all), but the house blend pour over seemed freshly ground and I'd have no problem at all ordering it again. Prices are really reasonable, but that may be because I live in DC where everything is twice the price. It's worth a visit.

Antiquitea is the perfect place to go study or hang out with friends. They have plenty of rooms and seats so that you never have to worry about finding a spot. Their drinks are top notch and affordable. They have great seasonal menus, which means there is always something new to try!

Coffee with homework? Yes please! Free refills on large drinks!!

Can I give this 6 stars?? Please?? When I say this is the best place--I mean it. Coffee, tea, delicious sandwiches and pastries, amazing atmosphere, wonderful people, I love this place. For students, I couldn't recommend this place more highly. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating and the environment is not distracting. For families visiting students--this is the perfect place to add a little caffeine to your journey. Completely kid friendly--sweet treats and non-caffeinated drinks on the menu! For meetings or a get-together with friends there's a large tablet that can seat 8 or more and plenty of games and activities. But do they have Gluten Free? Yep! They have it! They always have AT LEAST one gluten free pastry and multiple other menu options that are GF. What about Dairy Free? YES MA'AM! Multiple milk substitutes that are all quite amazing. But what about Vegetarian--UH. YEAH. The veggie panini is TO DIE FOR. I. Love. This. Place. I can't say it enough.

I was super happy to see this coffee shop…read morewhile walking around downtown Morgantown, because I really needed a boost, and this place had what I was desperately in need of: caffeine! It was well past 2 o'clock, and I try not to drink coffee after 11ish-o'clock, because it usually messes with my sleep. But I remembered the words of a man much wiser than me who once said, "I never sleep, 'cause sleep is the cousin of death," so I felt like a lil' iced coffee would actually be beneficial, in this case. No regrets. The iced coffee was great! I always forget about iced coffee when I'm at a coffee shop, because I just usually order a hot black coffee. I'm so stuck in my ways, sometimes! But iced coffee was a good choice in this situation, and it came with a little vanilla cream, which was unexpected but a nice indulgence. The Grind is located right across the street from West Virginia University. It was packed when I visited, and I imagine it is almost always packed, because of its location. But the people who work here are very efficient and friendly, and my iced coffee was ready lickety-split. I got my coffee to go, but there are some tables inside the coffee shop to sit and relax, if you wanted to. One of my favorite things about The Grind is that they have a confession box in the restroom. I left a little confession in the box, because it promised that the box was "a safe place to share what you can never tell a soul," and I felt that I could trust this random coffee shop in West Virginia with my whole heart. I left my confession there, and took my iced coffee with me and went on my way.

Service was subpar. I asked the lady at the counter how she was doing and didn't get a response. I…read moresaid thank you multiple times while ordering and didn't get a response. Girlfriend asked a few questions about coffee and her responses were very vague and not helpful. Prices were also not transparent. Menu at front counter said breakfast sandwich for $6 with any bread and any toppings. That $6 is for just eggs... I got bacon and cheddar cheese on my sandwich and it came out to $9. Girlfriend's breakfast tacos said 2 for $8. She got sausage, American cheese, and peppers/onions. Those ended up coming to $12. Coffee was nothing special. We both asked for cream and sugar and both got black cold brews instead. Had to add our own cream and sugar (cream was empty on the side counter). There were a lot of people in there making it seem busy, but as we looked around we noticed most were on laptops working with just a coffee. Only a few people had food. One lady ordered a green drink, we watched her go back up to the counter and give it back. She stayed there and continued working on her laptop with no food/drink. This is a social media coffee shop. Loud music, seating like you would have in a living room with small tables, and a very California/hipster vibe. I would've given it three stars, because my breakfast sandwich was good, if not for the person that took our order at the front counter having zero personality.
