They have lots of different candy options - from the old classics like Big Chew Gum, Pop Rocks and even Clark bars to Harry Potter themed items and massive gummy candies. They also had a candy cigarette machine that was pretty cool to play with. They also sell in-house made chocolates and ice cream as well. While I do love chocolate, my favorite part of The Candy Vault is the super cool Willy Wonka themed museum room - from mementos to games to even fun facts; they also play the movie on loop. The Candy Vault is a cute old timey candy store, and while they don't necessarily sell anything out of the ordinary, the Willy Wonka room is a nice touch. The staff were friendly as well! I'm sure my family and I will be back again next time we are in downtown Sonora!

The inside was lined on both sides with some many different candies - I was almost overwhelmed! They had fresh fruit jellies, dark and milk chocolates, rock candy, marshmallows - I could go on and on! We took home the jellies, dark chocolate almond bark, a discounted Valentine's Day chocolate heart box, handmade marshmallows and a couple of other goodies! Staff were friendly! The inside had an old western feel to it and they even had old school cash registers. On the left side, there were caramels and almond bark - just a great variety of stuff. The guy hooked me up with a box of 6 for $ 12 for the lady and even offered me a free sample. I tried the creme de menthe, which was excellent - I'm a big fan of mint. The dude behind the counter, Sammy, was super friendly, humble, and genuinely seemed like a nice guy. I'd definitely come back here again for some chocolate from Sunny. If you're in the area, stop by. There's coffee nearby too, so if you like your coffee and chocolates, go for it!
