Pricey. BUT you will find things here that you can't find anywhere else. It really has a nostalgic feel to it which is always pleasant to me. It's small but jam packed with goodies and even gelato. Is this the last true Willy Wonka style candy shop in Clovis... Fresno... The world?! Maybe not the world, but this place is pretty awesome! My first trip in here was to chat with them about hosting a Yelp event, but since then I have been back here no less than four times. My last trip here I brought my children, which was both amazing and terrifying. My kids immediately went into decision paralysis when told they could choose 2-items. There are so many options here! There's an entire wall of jellybeans and every chewy-gummy-fruity candy you can imagine. My last visit here I bought the Coca-Cola, flavored chewable candies, an abba zabba, some sour belts, a classic retro root beer, and a pack of those old-school Sunkist jelly discs. By the way, that's just what I got! My wife got a few truffles, a massive handmade Reese's peanut butter cup, and a suitcase of M&Ms. One of things I really love about this place is they carry a ton of retro and regional treats that you can't really find anywhere. For example, they have Goo Goo Clusters, which are a Nashville treat that I fell in love with while living there. They also carry small selection of British and European candies. Seriously this is the place to go if you're looking for a new sweet addiction. I don't think it's a coincidence that Abigail's shares a shopping center with a movie theater. Very upset with Abigail's, I've been shopping here for years and loved its aesthetic and considered it a gem in Clovis. My husband came home all excited because he bought me my first Labubu from here, the staff swore that they were 100% real and that they wouldn't sell fake ones because they are a business. LIE, they charged so much for a fake! Really unprofessional and upsetting. After reading some reviews that they sold fakes to other people and will not accept them back because "the box is open." Is completely unprofessional considering that they sell the box already opened! Went in 5/31/25. Got a big into energy labubu and it is 100% FAKE. Box did not come with sticker or a card. The laFUFU is wrong. Of course it's "no refunds" cuz it's open but I'm going to try to go in still and see. The foot it missing a piece instead of it being a if stamp. The ears are too far apart. The legs are not right and the arms are no adjustable. Do not trust that they buy from pop mart. I was sworn it was bought from pop mart. Like I asked multiple times. And it's FAKE. I'm still gonna go in and speak with them. If they fix this situation I will update but I'm assuming not since people have commented before they won't accept if the box is open cuz they can't sell it. Daughter wanted her first Labubu and I should have known to check Yelp first, as I see we aren't the only ones who got scammed, but we are from out of town and she was just excited to find one. Meanwhile the store clerk and her younger associate were swearing their Labubu's were real, getting us convinced to buy it. Not knowing much about these things we took a chance she was being honest because she had what to look to be a real one hanging nearby and swore by the authenticity of theirs. Daughter grabbed the last Big Energy they had and it was a sealed box. I have been coming here when it was originally named Powell's. My kids were little and we would get something in here to take to the movie theater, shhh. They have always had Willa Wonka playing on the screen. It's all the same nostalgic candy that some of us grew up with. I just wish the prices were at least close to what they used to cost. I've become one of those people on their soapbox crying "I remember when things cost a quarter". Today, I came shopping for orange and blue colored sweets for a Blippi themed birthday party and bought several things I had in mind... the owner even showed me a few other sweets I overlooked that went perfect for my party! From the gourmet chocolate sweets in the case, to the wall of Jelly Belly's and other sweet or sour candy you dispense yourself and the solid color M&M dispensers for your every need ... this store will have it. There are unique gift ideas, retro gifts, funny gift options, nostalgic drinks and so much more it's hard to remember it all. The movie Charlie and The Chocolate Factory plays on repeat in front of fun movie theater chairs for your kiddos to wait in. The store is clean and smells delicious. So the day before my daughter's kindergarten graduation, I was thinking of little gift ideas. I was looking in to candy bouquets and thought, hey, I wonder if Abigail's makes them? So I messaged them on Facebook and asked. I got a reply within a short amount of time, and while they didn't have any available right now, they did have one candy lei available. I asked if I could put it on hold until I got off of work, and she said that would be no problem, she would call in to the store. So she wasn't even WORKING right then, but went above and beyond to not only call it in, but without me asking, offered to add some ribbon on to the lei to personalize it more to my daughter's school colors. First time coming in today. I saw an Instagram post about fudge and I really wanted some. I went in and looked around a little. What an awesome candy store. At first she wasn't sure if there were any left. Then the young lady who was working today 6/5/2021 went above and beyond on customer service to secure my hunger for fudge. Thank you! This place fit the bill, it is absolutely the dopest candy shop I've seen in the valley! The young lady on the register was cool, the variety of goodies was inconceivable, and Willy Wonka was on the TV! Everything from macaroons to silver M&Ms to sour cream and onion crickets! The good: They have a huge selection of candy, from your standard stuff that you can get anywhere to old-style candies that are only still sold at specialty shops like this. They even have a selection of exotic candies, as well as a display case with some hand-made chocolate confections and gelato. The meh: The prices are going to be a bit higher, since this is a specialty shop. You have to realize that as a specialty shop, they are selling less candy than even a local grocery store does due to the difference in foot traffic. If a candy bar is $1 at Walmart, expect it to be $1.80-$2.00 here. That being said, much of what they have isn't available elsewhere, and a lot of stuff is by-the-ounce which is awesome when you want a little bit of everything. They're not price gouging by any means. The bad: They don't necessarily open/close at the posted times. read more

Perfect little small town candy shop, in a large city! It has pretty much anything you could want to satisfy your sweet tooth. Today Aug 28th went in to Abigail's candy shop and was greeted by a pretty friendly young lady with great customer service.

Abigail's has been a family favorite since the store opened. So much of a family favorite that even when we moved away in 2009 to the east coast, every time we flew home for Christmas, it was my kids #1 place to visit. When we finally moved back to California in 2014, my kids made it a point to visit "the Willie Wonka shop" every time we came home to visit. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and summer vacations. The owners are so cheerful and so amazingly welcoming. We moved back to the area two years ago and I feel like it's a weekly visit. My kids just love how magical it feels in there! They have the best selection of candy I have ever seen and the most unique sodas! That store is an icon to Clovis. I can't imagine going to any other candy store but this one! read more

If I could give this store no reviews I would- The stock and product was amazing but the employees made it a horrible experience and ruined my night. On Sunday August 20th around 4:15 Me and my kids came in and these 2 young ladies were on their cell phones and we were ignored countless times. The two young ladies working on Saturday July 22nd at 5:00pm were extremely rude and unprofessional. They had the worst attitude I've ever came across. I'm not sure if they had personal problems, however there behavior was unacceptable. My 11 year old daughter was ignored for over 10 minutes. Meanwhile an employee was on there personal phone. I will never bring my children again and I don't recommend bringing yours. read more
