She is super rude with how she grabs your things and looks like she almost wants to break them as she rings them up. I haven't gone back since nor will I. If you're not white you will not get good service, (be aware). All I said to her was hello as I got to the counter, no greeting back. This was last October '24 and I don't miss going into that store. I've been shopping at Edward Cake Supply for a while now due to my cake business. While the store…read morecarries many items I need, I've had several disappointing experiences that I can no longer ignore. There's a Latina employee who has consistently treated me with rudeness during multiple visits. At first, I gave her the benefit of the doubt assuming it was just a bad day. But after it happening every single time I come in, it no longer feels like a coincidence. What's been especially hurtful is seeing her treat other (white) customers with warmth and friendliness, only to become cold and dismissive when it's my turn. As a fellow brown person, it's incredibly disheartening to feel like I'm being discriminated against for my skin tone by someone from my own community. I didn't want to believe it at first, but after so many visits with the same treatment, I feel compelled to say something. I hope the management becomes aware and addresses this, because customers should be treated with respect regardless of who they are.

In addition the Best By date was 7/2023. The life of salt water taffy is approximately 18 months. This is well beyond the best by date.
