Nelson's Candies was to die for!! We tried several of their chocolate creations, including a chocolate covered s'mores and chocolate covered honey comb, although it wasn't actual honey comb. We also got some of their Whipped cream fudge which was made with heavy whipping cream.

This has to be the cutest candy shop. We stopped in because grandma wanted to buy her grand kids a treat and they found the cutest one! I know where I'm heading when I have a sweet tooth. It's pure heaven in there. It tasted amazing. My kids ate around the sugar animal. It was thick but we could tell and just wanted it for the looks and it was worth it to see my kids faces!

Many generations-family run chocolatier. Nice selection of chocolate covered nuts. I like the white chocolate covered coconut. Big selection of sugar free. They offer private boxes, and gift wrapping. Nice vintage puzzles also for sale on side wall.

This is a photo of one of the baskets they made, but it was wrapped in cello wrap and tied with a cute red bow

I recently ordered (22) large Christmas chocolate baskets of candy as an appreciation gift to several clients as kind of a last minute idea. Angela, at the Columbia location took my order, special ordered some beautiful baskets and created a beautiful bunch of baskets for me. I was planning on picking them up in Columbia, but they graciously said they would transport them to their Murphy's store which made picking them up so simple.

I was walking by on saturday along that main street. Suddenly my daughter and husband went inside. To my surprise, the candy store is very nice and look very upscale , nice wood counter. Their lollipoes is amazingly pretty. I uploaded 2 photos to share with you yelper. I ask "where is candy" made. Apparently, they are all local made (columbia town). I am very impressed, and go to that candy store twice (2 different days). Hightly recommend to buy back some of those candies as gift(since I go camping in that area).

Super cute candy store in Murphy's. Fresh and delicious and did not disappoint my 7 year old who didn't want to walk in the heat.

I love an independent candy store!…read more While visiting Columbia Park, we stopped into Nelson's per our friend's recommendation. The inside was lined on both sides with some many different candies - I was almost overwhelmed! They had fresh fruit jellies, dark and milk chocolates, rock candy, marshmallows - I could go on and on! We took home the jellies, dark chocolate almond bark, a discounted Valentine's Day chocolate heart box, handmade marshmallows and a couple of other goodies! Staff were friendly! The inside had an old western feel to it and they even had old school cash registers. It's a great place to pick up a gift and they have different holiday options - I even saw St. Patrick's Day candy out already! Check them out!

My favorite chocolates they make are pine nut rolls - which are also around the winter holidays. They always theme their shop around the season or holiday, and it's always well done and incredibly cute. The girls who work there are so friendly and helpful, and every time I've gotten candy as a gift for someone, their wrapping job is exquisite. I'm a local and it's a struggle not to just come get candy here every week. I recently went sugar free and they've even got something for me. Would absolutely recommend anyone stop in, they've got options for just about anyone.

For a dollar, you can taste a total of 6 flavors of balsamic vinegars or olive oils. They also have different varieties of pastas with assorted flavors. We had a new person helping us out and he got the order wrong. By the time i got home, it was way to late to return it. Lesson learn, I should have checked the wrap up bottles. I had been there many times and it's the first time that it happened. The place is bright and clean. The people are friendly. I just hope the prices don't keep going up and the bottles don't get any smaller.

We went into many of the shops in the town of Murohy and we did not have a bad experience. This particular store was ran by one woman and she was kept busy. Since I was there with a bridal party, we decided to do a taste testing which is relatively cheap. She'll give you a clipboard and you get to choose six different types of either oil or vinaigrette. And if you'd like you can purchase a little bag of bread to dip which I highly recommend. If you like any of the flavors that you've chosen, you can then purchase a full bottle. This was a new experience for me. I had never tried something like this before and was pleasantly surprised. I ended up purchasing a bottle of the traditional vinaigrette. I would definitely go back to Murphy's just for this experience as well as the other shops in the area but this particular location was really nice. Outside there was a seating area and a pretty little garden nearby which added to the ambiance and overall experience of the taste testing.

It was a bit smaller but the options did NOT disappoint they had my favorite chocolate marshmallow treats just one thing I wish they had was more sour candy options. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough because there is always a lot going on in these candy shops but I never seem to find the sour stuff, I will try harder to keep an eye out next time! The service is wonderful there was an older lady who helped me that was SO sweet and she was on it! Being that it was 4th of July weekend as you can imagine this place was PACKED! But I still got my chocolates! I didn't get her name but she's an absolute sweetheart so major shout out to her!! The vibe as I mentioned was very busy lol. It's similar to the Columbia location but about half the size therefore half the crowd but still busy as heck! Perhaps heading there when they first open and all the chocolates and sweet treats are fresh is key to avoid the crowds!! All and all 1000/10 I will always come back to here!! It's their fresh milk chocolates for me!
