Was on the hunt for a facial/massage option that offered a monthly membership. Though there are lots of great options in the valley that offer facials OR a massage membership, I really wanted both. My husband loves massages and I love both, so having an option for either or depending on my needs really appealed to me. On that note, Fuschia Spa was recommended by a friend and I loved the diverse line up of services, including a variety of facials, massages, wellness options such as infrared sauna, LED face masks and much more. I was able to snag an evening appointment for my husband and I a day in advance. I was also able to snag one of their special promotions for a facial or massage plus wellness option for $99 for first time clients, definitely check out their specials! I opted for a custom facial with a microdermabrasion add on, with the sauna as my wellness and my husband got a 60 minute massage followed by the hydra-massage. They were super friendly upon arrival and have a lovely waiting room with small snacks, coffee and tea. I did my sauna before the spa and once done with that was givena. fluffy robe and taken to the tranquility room that is a quaint, dimmed and relaxing waiting area. I really loved how a majority of the service rooms were blocked off from the made area to minimize noise and additional guests. It made the overall experience much more relaxing. My facial was lovely, the microdermabrasion was a $39 add on, but the products smelled fabulous, Crystal was lovely and did a great job on my service. My skin felt so great after. My husband really enjoyed his massage as well and I look forward to taking advantage of the service on my next visit! We decided to take advantage of the the membership! For $99 for facial/massage and one wellness service, additional member in the household is $89, we thought it was extremely reasonable and a little monthly self care is definitely needed. At the time of this review, any unused appointments rollover and can be stacked, no cancellation fee and exclusive member pricing for add ons. I cancelled my membership here after many years of being a member. I originally signed up as a member at this location but due to the fact that you can't get an appointment easily, I have been getting services at the Santan location. I loved my providers there but they have also left so I did not want to take another risk with other newer providers as the quality is of service is just not all the same. One time, I had an aesthetician who pretty much put a face mask for 10 minutes and left it there. It's such a joke. Finally, when cancelling, they are a bit rude about it and find that really strange after being a patron here for years. They charge $10 fee for any services or even wellness services you want to gift to another person. Also, they have steadily increased their membership rates. Yes, it's pretty ridiculous. I would not recommend Fuschia spa to anyone and would highly suggest looking for other places. read more

Came here for the first time last weekend to for a jelly facial and to get matched with color science products, which I've heard amazing things about. All staff I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved my facial treatment, my skin felt and looked better right after the treatment. Then I got matched for the SPF color science products and bought all three products. I couldn't believe how good my face looked having no heavy makeup on, just three SPF products; the cream, the toner and lip gloss. I joined the monthly wellness membership as I was recovering from two injuries seeking the infrared sauna. The sauna/setup is wonderful offering bottled water, chilled towels, etc. However, the front desk/accounting aspect is THE WORST. Every appointment/month it was the same song and dance - they had my account messed up with incorrect information, billing, appointments, etc. On top of it, they told me every appointment I booked in person I would receive a $2/credit towards a future in store purchase, of which was falsely told to me. I would have stayed on their membership but the hassle and fiasco of the accounting aspect wasn't worth it. read more

I meet up with a friend every 6 months or so for a spa day. I've got massages, facials, and waxing here I don't have a membership I just do t live close enough. But they do seem popular and the prices are far better with the membership. That aside. The place is very calm. The service to the rooms is helpful and compassionate. My service today was a wax. I had winter leg hair and she was so excited to remove it. I love seeing someone so excited about the work they do. Jenna was hands out fantastic. And I ended up calling back after the original call because my sister had appointments at the exact same time as I did but after two hours still hadn't received a call saying that hers were canceled as well. When I called back to inquire if hers were canceled too, I was very rudely talked to. And in fact, my sister called a few days later to reschedule and whoever was on the desk wasn't nice to her and wasn't helpful at all. read more

I get a facial monthly, and it's amazing. It took me a couple of times to find my gal, but now we are on a roll. She gives me product recommendations without the pressure. She customizes each facial. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and professional. They make scheduling and rebooking super painless. My only complaint is the lounge area, I can't picture myself being there for more than one service. The chairs are not very comfortable and it's really just a waiting room. Best massage I've had since i moved here, They ask you to choose your level- I chose 3/4 which was just below a deep tissue massage and it was the perfect pressure for me. She worked out so many knots in my back and shoulders, it hurt a bit after, which is good! I could tell that those knots were released. I only wish I had done more than an hour. I also did a facial and used the infared sauna. I wish I could tell you how the facial was, but I slept through the whole thing! Great atmosphere throughout. They offered hibiscus water, and they all wore masks and social distancing was strictly enforced, every other seat was blocked off in the waiting room and relaxation room. In the passed year, Fuchsia Spa has continued to charge our family membership even though they were closed for remodel and throughout the COVID mandatory closure. Also, at the moment of signed up Fuchsia offered that even if we cancelled our membership, paid services will not expire (EVER.) This Spa has grown a lot. I have tried more than 20 times to make an appointment and they never have availability. (2-4 weeks out) Their recommendation is to pre-book (just as that simple for them 3-4 weeks in advance) - I tried to cancel my membership and they only give me a month to spent more than 10 services (FAMILY TOTAL 38 services available = $2,392) - when they never have available appointments. - I also asked for a copy of my signed agreement and it was never sent. Today I filled a complaint to the BBB if you have the same problem please do since this Spa is just taking your money and not providing any type of service. read more

I don't get massages very often (definitely not consistently), so I really didn't know what to expect coming into Fuchsia. I only booked the Express Massage (25 minutes) and didn't want to set my expectations too high, but Jared was amazing! I couldn't believe how great I felt after such a short time; I was soo relaxed and my back feels better than it has in a long time. I wouldn't say that Fuchsia is super inexpensive, but for their massage services I didn't think it was bad at all. I've definitely paid more in the past. It's also cool how many different services they offer at one spa, and their membership is awesome in that you can choose whatever service you want each month - a facial, massage, dermaplaning, pedicure, etc. Though it would feel like you're overpaying for some of those services... :) But, to stick to what I know of Fuchsia, I'd definitely recommend their massage! And dry. No follow thru at all. So I go to Fuchsia and hope that my face won't discipline me for messing with it two days before heading off for vacation. I tell the really nice aesthetician..hey..my face is looking dry and old. Please help. I need to walk outta her looking young and supple. Let me tell you, the Polish princess whipped my face with a scrub, and the most superb Emminence products,then topped off my lips with this invigorating lip goo- I was ready to head to Mill ave and pull some young college boy! But I didn't. I drove home and went to bed. I wanted to wake up the next day well rested on the inside, and have my face looking even more well rested! All I got was the quickie facial. I went here for a custom facial a few weeks ago. I have developed severe hormonal acne along my chin and jawline. I saw Jenna and she was awesome. I've been here several times, and I purchased a membership. I wish I hadn't. The facials are nice, but they really push for you to buy the products. I'm relaxed afterwards, I don't want to hear what I need to buy. Just ask me if I'm interested in purchasing anything and leave it at that. I was there yesterday for a facial and a pedicure. After my facial, they had me wait in the "Quiet Room." Either they forgot about me or the woman who was supposed to do my pedicure was really late, but I had to go and let them know that I was waiting 10 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. Ok it happens, but the woman who was to give my pedicure was clearly in a bad mood. She just looked at me, and said very defeatedly, "I'm running so late." That was it! Not hey thanks for waiting, or welcome, or hi how are you? It really wasn't cool. I don't think they told her I was waiting, so I kinda felt bad for her, but her energy was so negative that I just decided that I was over it. It just really left a bad impression. Tried Fuchsia Spa in Ahwatukee for the first time. I was invited as apart of a Yelp event. I was so pumped for my appointment as it has been a stressful holiday season. I got a custom express massage with Megan. This place didn't disappoint. From my entry into the modernly decorated salon, I felt nothing but relaxation. The salon manager was great about checking me in and going through all of the custom options that I could receive. She also did a short but sweet tour of the spa and showed me where the m & m's were located. I do recommend getting there the 15 minutes prior to appointment so you dont have to rush. They also have spa flavored water. After my introductory tour of the spa I was led to a quiet Room. Probably one of the most posh quiet rooms that I have ever experienced. It was very nice to decompose before going into for my treatment. My treatment was amazing, the room it self was nice. I liked the fact that they had a separate basket to place your clothes and jewelry in. All in all, it was a great experience. I already purchased a gift card to try the Dana Park experience. I think this time, I will upgrade to hot rocks and also get a facial peel. So pumped that I located such a posh day spa without the extra hotel spa prices. read more

Last week, I booked the 25-minute Express Massage and was really excited to go, as I usually have a pretty tight neck and shoulders. I wasn't sure what to expect from a shorter massage, but it was amazing! Jared was very nice and friendly, and really took into consideration what I wrote on my questionnaire to help give me the best massage. He got a ton of knots out of my shoulders and left me feeling incredibly relaxed. He even gave me a sheet at the end with a list of areas I have tense muscles and advice for how to give myself a little spa treatment at home. Overall, Fuchsia has pretty reasonable prices, too - definitely less expensive than some other places I've seen. But I don't think you miss out on quality! They also had manicures/pedicures, facials, and dermaplaning. I haven't tried them myself, but I think some women had champagne with their pedicures so I'm down for that haha. I couldn't bring myself to commit to a membership just yet, but I think I will definitely go back for some of their services. read more

All I ask for is be kind and profesional. Don't call pregnant women a liability. To call one of your members the day before their massage and refuse service because they are a liability is extremely rude. Make sure your policies are clear with all your receptionist so your clients don't have misguided information. Policies can be communicated in a kind and direct manor. Please note I did not go to this location but in the new Gilbert location by Santan mall. However they all have the same policies. My very first appointment was awesome they called me and reminded me of an appointment, I went had a micro dermabrasion and it was great. While I was there they asked me if I wanted to schedule a second appointment which I did. I scheduled for one month later. I forgot. I forgot about the appointment with the holidays and no reminder. I get it that's OK. Here's what happened; their policy is they have a no-show policy and they charge you 50% of whatever services you were scheduled to have. I understand this and in some ways I can empathize if it's a big expensive procedure. But I was on the fence for membership, almost had my husband convinced that I wanted to buy a membership here until last night. I was scheduled to have a $25 second procedure done for my eyebrows. They decided rather than to waive the retarded charge of $12.50, to go ahead and charge my card for my no-show because I forgot. OK fine that's fine, I could care less about the money. To add insult to injury the lady asks me if I'd like to reschedule. We'll shoot yes I would. Oh but there's still that charge for the no show. Um no. No I would not like to reschedule with a company that does that. How dumb are you? I may be old fashioned, but it seems to me that if they're really trying to sell me membership wouldn't it be better to accommodate me in hopes of getting much more money out of me for future business, including a membership fee, then to cry about $12.50. The reason that I'm rating them one star is because that's poor business practice. It makes more sense for them to do away with that stupid policy. Things come up for people. It's not a doctors office. Not even a Med spa. It's not the Mercedes-Benz of Spa's. It's a franchise chain store. So maybe be more accommodating, more people oriented, work with people better in hopes of securing future business from that customer and from anybody that customer tells. Word-of-mouth is key. I went to this spa with my boyfriend for a pair of massages and it was actually my first time getting a professional massage. I had called the spa just a week before and was easily able to find an appointment slot to accommodate the two of us at the same time. When we got to the spa that afternoon, we were pleasantly greeted at the door and they took our names. We then had a few page questionnaire to fill out about what types of things were preferred in a massage (i.e. like having your head or feet rubbed, or music you preferred to be playing). They are reasonably priced (seems to be pretty equal with the large massage chain in the valley) and the staff were wonderful. If I were to get another massage, I would definitely go back to Fuschia. read more

I had a massage here about a month ago and it was just OK. I don't remember the massage therapist's name. it was a guy that asked me about every 10 minutes if everything was OK despite me having said at the beginning that I preferred silence. And I told him that I would let him know if things weren't OK, but he continued to ask. I don't really blame him because I know it's something that he's been instructed to do but if you don't want to talk during a massage you really don't wanna talk. When I was checking out I saw some services that were interesting. I booked another massage with a different therapist which I will be canceling after today. I came back to do the Hydro massage and the LED facial. The Hydro massage was wonderful. It is a service that doesn't require assistance from an aesthetician or technician. They just show you how to operate the equipment. You are in the room by yourself and you adjust the equipment as needed. It was so good thatI I was ready to buy Gift certificates for my family. But when I went to do the LED facial after the hydromassage, the technician who took me to the room was unmasked. She asked me to remove my mask as she was talking to me and she revealed that she was unvaccinated. I told her I was going to keep my mask on until she was ready to put the LED lights on my face. She glared at me as if she was annoyed that I didn't want to share her air space. The whole time I had the service I kept wishing that I had just left. But the room was dark and I had the LED thing over my face and I wasn't really sure how to take it off. I don't believe that any service is worth dying for. I have a loved one who is battling cancer right now. I couldn't relax because I kept thinking suppose this person or any of the other unmasked gigling staff was contagious and I bring it home. How are you in a spa doing close, face-to-face services and you don't have the courtesy to wear a mask? I believe that the owner is incredibly responsible for not requiring her employees to at least wear a mask if not be vaccinated. When I got ready to check out, no one asked me how my service was or if I wanted to rebook. It was obvious I had been discussed with the front desk which is fine by me.I try to support small businesses but this small business won't be supported by me ever again. read more

Worst experience ever with a spa. First, we booked a valentines experience couples massage. We arrived early, waited 30 min for our appointment only to learn they made a mistake with our appointment and it was not scheduled as a couples experience, but individual appointments. We were not on board with the change so ended up rescheduling for the following week. The following week, they call to confirm out appointment and AGAIN did not have it scheduled correctly. By the time our day had arrived, they fixed the issue and offered us a complimentary scalp massage for the hassle. The couples room is not really a couples room, but rather rooms next to each other with a partial wall in between. Quite disappointing. I used one of the "upgrades" of compression boots which was just an OK experience. When the time was done, the service provider forgot about me or something and I was trapped in the boots and had to climb out of them myself. Ugh. We checked out with the front desk using a gift card given to us. Once we arrived home, the spa calls us to ask first and last names of who gave us the gift card to pull up their account. Apparently they have a tracking system with their gift card accounting. WHAT?! I've NEVER been asked this ever with a gift card. So unprofessional and intrusive and will not ever return to this outfit despite the stack of free "upgrades" they gave us. So not worth our time or hassle. read more
