I have settled on Global as my only recycle business because of horribly dishonest experiences with several other recycle establishments. One place even had rigged scales. Global offers up the latest competitive prices, and while on any given day you might find a higher price, it just might not be worth it. I've become familiar with the Global process, I know to use the wheeled containers for metals, NOT the cages. For small amounts, your 5 gal. Bucket is fine, they know how much it weighs, and they return it to you. After weigh in, take your ticket to the cashier window and slip it under the window with your drivers license. Get paid and leave. If it's your first time here you may have to wait several days for your money, after that you're good to go! The receipt you get breaks down the weight and price for each group of metals. It's not immediately understandable, but with a bit of study it makes sense.

You can pack it all back up.... Its was nearly 1000lb of copper they decided wasn't copper and knew I wouldn't want to load that all back up. Unreal criminal crooks. They are copper heat exchangers all day every day from pool heaters not bronze or brass or whatever else they wanna call it that day. Only reason they get 2 stars is they have a good track record but not today. Hopefully this is one bad day..... w one idiot working and they re train him properly. I'll try once more once I get another large load. I've sent countless coworkers here for copper recycling won't be doing that anymore. Shady business today shady business

It is so conveniently located and easy to pull-in and get out. They've finally reopened under new management and I couldn't be anymore enthused to recycle again. Today was a Sunday and I was excited to see they were open till 345p. I already had recyclables separated. The guy helping me was super nice and quickly weighed my three loaded trash cans. I asked if the recycle used batteries, but they do not. Still great they take many other materials including cardboard. The cashier was very friendly as we bonded over the time change. We drove over and they helped us to unload the metal out of our truck and placed it on their scale and then we were given a receipt, walked over to the cashier to give our ID and get our cash out. He said then why don't they let you see the scale? I was like what? He said any place that doesn't show you the scales is a scam. I got to thinking and went in with 43 lbs of copper. I weighed it at work. When I went to Bruce salvage I only had 36 lbs. I said wait a minute and he said my scale was off and it was too late because all my stuff had been moved very quickly to the scrap pile and I couldn't even take it somewhere else. If you don't believe me, weigh your stuff and see what happens. Hopefully you don't have the same problem I did. I found a much better place on Newland, right off of Hamilton. I think it's Huntington Beach, maybe Costa Mesa. Much better!

There's been times where I've arrived a little late (or very close to closing time), and the workers are almost always willing to help out! And if they can't, I understand - that would be my bad for coming outside of the posted hours! I used to go to another recycling center, but during my last few visits the staff seemed…read moreinattentive and even a bit rude. So I decided to try somewhere new and found Sanchez Recycling. From the moment I drove in, the experience was completely different. I was greeted right away and asked how they could help. I told them I had cans, and the employee directed me where to go, brought me a large basket, and let me know someone would assist me. Another staff member quickly helped, weighed my cans, gave me a receipt, and thanked me for coming. The woman in the payment area was also friendly and efficient. Overall, the whole process was smooth and pleasant. The facility is clean, the staff is helpful, and everything was easy to deal with. I'll definitely be coming here from now on!

this is my go-to recycling center even though there are several others way closer to my house. the…read moreparking lot is really small (like your best bet is to back straight out of the gate) but their buckets are large, plentiful and in good shape. customer service is very nice. they have a handwashing station available for patrons and you can leave with cash instead of having to go to a second location (you know how like, some places are behind a market and then you have to redeem your receipt inside the market?). i feel like they offer good prices AND! they also collect a bunch of stuff. i was just turning in water bottles but the guy next to me turned in all these metal pipes and stuff.
