In only 5 days post op, but thus far everything he has said was completely accurate. He has more experience than any other doctor in EP, and it shows. His office staff is a bit quiet, not as outgoing, but he makes up for it. She was always very professional and knowledgeable of the services provided as I was a newcomer to the world of injectables. After 5 years of being a patient there, I was preparing for my wedding (6 months out) and I decided to schedule a procedure that would consist of a series of 6 consecutive appointments and would cost around $1,800.00. I committed to it and paid the money up front. I attended one appointment, but unfortunately, for the second appointment, I was moved to another location without notification from the staff and missed the appointment. I travel 50 miles for these appointments and take PTO or vacation time from my job to be able to make these appointments every week. Needless to say, I was less than pleased. After that, I requested to cancel the remaining five scheduled appointments and requested a refund of my money with exception of the cost for the first appointment which I had attended. I was told that a refund would be credited to my credit card of approximately $1,500.00 and it would take a couple of weeks to process. Upon waiting several weeks for my refund, I began calling the office several times per to follow up. I was told twice by staff members that the refund would be by check and that the "check was in the mail" (Erik and Crystal). This all occurred in May of last year (2022) and to date, I have yet to receive a refund. Sadly, the office manager never returned my calls. Having been an office manager myself for law offices and superintendent of schools offices, I was very displeased at the lack of professionalism here. This facility makes millions of dollars per year doing much more invasive procedures such as breast implants, butt implants, full face lifts, mommy make-overs, etc. Why is is so important to them to keep my little $1,500? Its chump change to them, but to me it's a big cost. Apparently, the office manager did agree to give me a credit there but the point was that I could no longer make the trips to El Paso for any service. A credit to my patient account does me no good.

The injury was such that it created great difficulty with his breathing. The need for a specialized hand to do both repair and make him look good was high. He still pays soccer in college. It was a difficult decision to do, specifically because he continues to play competitively. The risk of re-injury is always looming. Having said this, his nose is perfect. He can breath. He can compete at a high level and did I mention he looks way better. His septum is in line. Now he still must alway be extremely mindful of the heavy competition at the collegiate level. These kids and skilled men play extremely rough; nevertheless, allow me to mention, if we had to do the rhinoplasty again there is no doubt who we would recommend. And 5 minutes before I went under he asked me what kind of stitches I wanted for my belly button dissolvable or not which didn't give me much time to consider it. Are you kidding me? He was way way overpriced. Also, DR LA Cruz is into wearing those really tight corsets. Which actually if you look at the research it's debatable if it works to permanently reduce your waste, and also it takes away your core strength of your core because it uses because your body depends on the corset's support. Better to go to the gym and work out. Also, he's pretty vain and you'll see him wearing blue contact lenses which look very odd. He won't have it on when he is doing the surgery because he'll be wearing his glasses. I don't think he's super skilled despite his claims on his website Even my belly button looks odd. If I had to do it over again I would never have used him. Belly but should have been flat and it's not It looks odd and it has to be redone! The money I paid I shouldn't have to have it redone to make it look right normal! I don't recommend him at all.

Weirdo! What a…read morebizarre experience. I found this plastic surgeon De La Cruz through an advertisement at the Houston Galleria. When I arrived to an empty waiting room I figured I would see him right away. However, I was kept waiting for a long time and no one was there. I think he was doing a treatment on himself and made me wait! When they finally called me, I thought they switched doctors on me because the doctor looks nothing like his picture. That picture he is using is at least 15 years old. Although, he will tell you he gets all kinds of treatments to keep looking young. He is just cree-ee-py. I figured I would let that slide but when he was consulting me, he was looking at me as more than a doctor, more like a guy at a bar looks at you. He then proceeded to tell me very personal stories about himself and how great he was at pretty-much everything. He was trying to impress me and it was so bizarre. No chance I would myself or let any friend or family member near that creep. It was extremely weird, uncomfortable and skeevy. I could not get out of there fast enough.

Just wanted to warn people about V. Rosas from Epiphany Dermatology on Texas Ave. During my two…read morevisits she did nothing but attempt to push medication on me without doing the proper tests for a full diagnoses even after I asked politely to do so. The alternative was 30 days of a strong medication. Long story short I had to travel all the way to Atlanta to get proper care. My actual dermatologist was appalled at the dosage they tried to give me, ran the proper tests without me having to ask, resolved my issues with one visit. If I hadn't, the misdiagnosis they gave at Epiphany could've caused me to develop a fatal infection. As a black woman I never felt more unheard than when I did with V. Rosas for my skin concerns. Please always advocate for yourself. If you ever feel like something is off, don't let folks play in your face.
