Came in today just to buy a family pack of chicken wings and sushi. This is my go to grocery store. Located off the 17 North exit Jomax. This is one of the newer Fry's. As of this review, it's been here for about 3 years. You can find some good deals here, some of which are not in the store flyers. Just walking around today and I saw 1 lb of ground turkey for $1.99 (Jennie O brand). See the pics included. Customer service is very basic, not too friendly and not unfriendly either. Just regular people doing their normal jobs. Check out the marked down clearance items in the meat department. It's very random but sometimes you can get ribeye for $3. There is also a Fry's gas station located inside their main parking lot. Try to pay at the pump if you can. There is usually only 1 cashier working that entire gas station solo, all 14 pumps, so the line gets long fast if you need to pay cash. There is an air pump available if you need to air up your tires here. You pay with your card to use it. If you want a free air pump to use, look for QT gas stations. read more

Today is Sr. Day at Frys. Only 2 cashier lanes open and we seniors are stocking up. I felt compelled to write a review, this being the second month in a row where there was a deficient number of lanes open with a cashier and bagger present. Today, the cashier helped ME bag my groceries, it was nice of her to help working alongside me. I feel as though we seniors have to put in our time working for Frys in order to be worthy of the senior discount. I've posted a picture of one of many bags I had showing what she loaded into it. UNBELIEVABLE that you would load up a bag with this many groceries, not to mention a glass bottle of wine. I could barely lift this out of the cart into my vehicle let alone, I almost dropped the wine bottle out when I picked it up. I also opened the refrigerated section in the pet section to get some FreshPet. The first roll of meat dog food I pulled out had an expiration date on it showing April 2026!!! I then reached in and grabbed another that had expired in August, 2026. Not the first time I've come across expired FreshPet at this Frys. DO BETTER FRYS at Norterra! read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this pharmacy today due to a pharmacist named Michael S. and his condescending, unprofessional attitude. I've been taking my prescription for over seven years, and after a particular generic manufacturer's version gave me headaches previously, I asked my doctor to specifically note that it should not be filled with that manufacturer. Despite the note on the prescription, the pharmacy filled it with that exact manufacturer. I politely brought this to Michael's attention before leaving, assuming the note had simply been overlooked. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he questioned me in a condescending tone about why I would take medication that gave me headaches, why I hadn't requested the note two weeks earlier, and whether I had gone without my medication. When I explained that I had an existing supply from a different manufacturer, he accused me of stockpiling medication and insisted there was nothing he could do. Interestingly, after I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for his name, Michael suddenly changed his position and agreed to exchange the medication for a different generic. He also remarked, "We get what we get and we don't throw a fit," as if a patient expressing a legitimate concern about medication side effects is somehow being unreasonable. I understand that pharmacies have policies and limitations, but there is absolutely no excuse for speaking to patients this way. I followed my doctor's instructions and made a reasonable request concerning a medication I've taken for years. I should not have to defend myself against accusations or tolerate condescending remarks just to get my prescription filled appropriately. I hope management addresses this interaction and reinforces the importance of treating patients with basic respect and professionalism. read more

I stopped by today to do some grocery shopping and this frys is nice! Huge cheese section by the deli and the staff were friendly and helpful. Inside was also very clean. They had everything I needed in stock and then some. They had some Christmas items on sale as well since it was the day after! They had these cute soft sherpa blankets on sale that were nice! Inside was organized and well put, the produce area was also very nice everything looked good! They have a good amount of parking as well in their lot. They also have a Starbucks inside. read more

Yesterday was the third time I've tried to patronize the chicken hot bar for lunch and found it totally it not even set up despite the fact that it was after 11:00 a.m.. The wing bar wasn't much better with little product actually left in the trays. Why is it so difficult to prepare fried and baked chicken when you know customers are going to be there trying to purchase lunch for their family? Another customer showed up trying to purchase his lunch while I was staring at the empty display and just shook his head in amazement over the fact that once again the hot food wasn't ready for purchase. The deli staff Kathy & Holly were so very helpful to me. I'm still weak from kicking stage IV cancer in the butt. I wanted to host my family for some good eats and some pool time. I can't cook but I wanted something nice. They helped me pick out and made a fantastic 6 foot sub and a fruit platter made of nothing but the sweetest, ripest selections. They even wrote a thank you on the inside of the sub box. It was a nice touch appreciated by everyone. I have had excellent service from this location for almost 2 years consistently. My Clicklist pick ups are always on time and made up of good quality items. If you are very busy, will you have mobility or weakness issues like I do you can trust the folks at this store to take care of you. They truly care about their customers. This store has been one of the pillars that I have leaned on in my recovery they always have fresh and nutritious selections made up of good quality items. For the last month or so the meat department is not at all what it used to be. Never enough staff. When trying to get meat from the counter I was told to get meat off the shelf and that the counter meat wasn't any good, (then why are you selling it?) Also if that the case maybe you should make sure the racks are full of product Also the quality of the meat has drastically gone down hill. The tall guy wearing glasses is rude, condescending and comes off as a sexual predator. I have been extremely uncomfortable shopping with my teenage daughters. If this continues I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame, it used to be my favorite store, but I will not be shopping there if things don't go back to the way they were in the meat department, and the tall guy doesn't learns how to keep his eyes off my daughters. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy! Dishonest and would recommend going elsewhere. They do not care about patients well-being.

They have Apple Pay now but need to add to pumps too. Also beware of the parking lot there massive gaps between concrete and asphalt and your cart wheel might cause you to cartwheel when it goes in just right.. busted my shin took 4 weeks to heal ouch... told an employee about it and was just brushed off and all I was telling him is what happened and how someone else could really get hurt but it's a fair priced clean store just needs some updates even though it's only a few years old read more

Nice newer store right off Jomax and the I17. Parking lot was clean, gas station well kept and easily accessible. Store itself felt smaller than others I've been in, but nice. Gas prices were a bit higher though than at other shops nearby. read more

Brand new store. Super clean. Very friendly staff The pharmacy here is phenomenal. I needed a prescription filled this evening after cvs held onto it for 48 hours only to tell me they didn't have that medication on hand. I came to this frys and interacted with the pharmacy manager and another employee who happened to be working this evening. They were both phenomenal. Not only did they have it filled within 10 minutes ; they also transferred my file from cvs to frys and then voluntarily ran my new prescription through the discount codes to give me the best rate. They were very friendly and quick and super helpful. I will come here again and again. read more

This Fry's is not only horrible with their produce and meat (it's either gone or old) but they will overcharge you. Make sure you check the prices when checking out. My fiancé was charged $29.99/Ib for a crown of broccoli. We were then over charged for chicken, jam, and other items. These were all on separate occasions. The digital coupons don't always come off at the end of your checkout. Frys loves to scam people bc they know people wont check their receipts. read more

I love this new Frys. So convenient for me. It's a smaller Frys than what I'm used to but they have everything. I absolutely love the layout. I can get in and out quickly. The staff is new and shiny. Ayanna checked me out today. She was quick, very friendly and sweet. Noah bagged my items and asked me questions about how I want them bagged. He was extremely polite. The deli girls were also quick and very helpful. Kendra, manager of the floral dept, really helped me out by putting ribbons on some floral items I was buying and cut off the price tag. I really appreciated her going above and beyond for me. I love the vibe of this store. The employees seem like they enjoy working there which makes me want to shop there more. read more

Seriously, what has happened to Fry's? One time my favorite store in the valley, I will never shop there again. Specifically the Jomax & I 17 location. Since it opened it has not met even a Walmart standard and I have driven the extra miles to Albertsons or Safeway. Yesterday, I was in a hurry and I ran in to get items to prepare a casserole for a friend whose mother had just passed away. They didn't have many of the items I needed, staples, such as French Bread, pasta, etc. Waiting at the Deli, the "gentleman" who finally helped me treated me as if I was an idiot when I asked for A specific cut of ham. "We don't have a slide ruler". Next, I went to the Seafood counter and waited, and waited, and waited ( while others walked up , waited and walked away. Watching the 7ish deli workers, directly beside the Seafood counter stand around chatting and ignoring those of us needing help, I also walked away. I picked out 2 sympathy cards and the rest of what I needed and I checked out. Not a word from either the checker or the bagger. I went to Albertsons to get the remaining items I needed and then home to make my casserole. Unpacking I realized that my sympathy cards did not make it in my groceries I purchased from Fry's. Then I went to make Whipped Cream for a pie to take with the casserole only to open the bottle of Whipping Cream I had just purchased at Fry's and almost fell over from the stench of the curdled cream. Expiration date was May, 2024 but there was no way it was usable. I called the store at 6:45 PM and when they finally answered, I was told Customer Service was closing soon and they couldn't help me until morning. Another trip to Safeway I got what I needed and finished the casserole for my friend's family, over an hour late. This morning I went in to get my refund for the cards and the spoiled cream and I admit I was not happy, but I was polite at the least. The Manager didn't see the issue. She had the cards that were not bagged with my groceries and giggled about the mistake. I told her I had purchased new ones last night and didn't need them. She refunded my cream and told me to have a good day. When I asked about the refund for my cards she looked at me like I was insane. Did she think I was just going to donate the $13 to their incompetency fund? she reluctantly refunded me for the cards and snipped " Have a great day" sarcastically when I walked away. Customer Service, pride in selling products that are the quality that is expected and the simple act if kindness is getting more and more obscure today and is certainly not a standard upheld by Fry's these days. The tags are on them and they're in perfect condition. we could not find the receipt and had them look it up by our Fry's card number. I love Frys! This is the newest and closet location to me. We ordered a 6' party sub for my kids birthday. I went to pick it up and someone screwed up and gave it to the wrong person. Jeff the deli supervisor admitted the mistake and made it right.! They scrambled and got my order complete before my party. BE AWARE! This Fry's will steal your money. They are well aware that they have Apple gift card fraud issue and they are not doing anything to fix. They are having the customer taking the loss! Fry's is no difference from a thief! Purchased $500 worth of Apple Gift Card today and when i tried to redeem it right after the purchase, it shows redeemed. They refused to refund and told me to just call Apple to have it figured out. The store manager Edy admitted that they are well aware of the issue, but they can't do anything about it and she's just following the corporate policy to have the customer call Apple. read more

I live in the area and this Fry's is my go to for everything! Everyone is so helpful and the young people are awesome. I always have great service. These days that is difficult to come by. The store s always clean, well stocked and everyone has a smile on their face. Sometimes I stop by early and sometimes late and I always get the same great service . I was at the frys on Hatcher and cave creek. It was Nov 30th at 1 p.m. Self checkout the woman working was so rude not just to me but to 2 other people that were checking out beside me. She was a younger lady and Hispanic. The parking lot was full of trash and the shopping carts had trash in them. Mine had a unfinished drink in it. It was so gross. We shop at Frys as our main grocery store and decided to make a trip to this new store. Whoever designed the inside layout must have been drunk. The entrance to the produce was good and well laid out what was to follow is a joke. The meat counter and deli are hidden by a wall away to the left of produce. We then shopped the rest of the store the aisles were wide however we did buy an item which was already out of date despite only being open 1 week when we visited. To find the frozen section is nothing more than an expedition in itself. It was on the far end from produce and meat counter and nearly gave up looking for the freezer counters. The store has no flow unlike others we shop at. Won't be going back to this particular location !!! read more
