I stopped by today to do some grocery shopping and this frys is nice! Huge cheese section by the deli and the staff were friendly and helpful. Inside was also very clean. They had everything I needed in stock and then some. They had some Christmas items on sale as well since it was the day after! They had these cute soft sherpa blankets on sale that were nice! Inside was organized and well put, the produce area was also very nice everything looked good! They have a good amount of parking as well in their lot. They also have a Starbucks inside. read more

Yesterday was the third time I've tried to patronize the chicken hot bar for lunch and found it totally it not even set up despite the fact that it was after 11:00 a.m.. The wing bar wasn't much better with little product actually left in the trays. Why is it so difficult to prepare fried and baked chicken when you know customers are going to be there trying to purchase lunch for their family? Another customer showed up trying to purchase his lunch while I was staring at the empty display and just shook his head in amazement over the fact that once again the hot food wasn't ready for purchase. For the last month or so the meat department is not at all what it used to be. Never enough staff. When trying to get meat from the counter I was told to get meat off the shelf and that the counter meat wasn't any good, (then why are you selling it?) Also if that the case maybe you should make sure the racks are full of product Also the quality of the meat has drastically gone down hill. The tall guy wearing glasses is rude, condescending and comes off as a sexual predator. I have been extremely uncomfortable shopping with my teenage daughters. If this continues I will be taking my business elsewhere. It's a shame, it used to be my favorite store, but I will not be shopping there if things don't go back to the way they were in the meat department, and the tall guy doesn't learns how to keep his eyes off my daughters. read more

They have Apple Pay now but need to add to pumps too. Also beware of the parking lot there massive gaps between concrete and asphalt and your cart wheel might cause you to cartwheel when it goes in just right.. busted my shin took 4 weeks to heal ouch... told an employee about it and was just brushed off and all I was telling him is what happened and how someone else could really get hurt but it's a fair priced clean store just needs some updates even though it's only a few years old read more

I'm giving Fry's an 'ok' as whilst I love getting fuel points with my groceries, the store is NEVER fully stocked with basic, everyday popular items - so I always leave or get my delivery order sans some essentials - which is frustrating and throws meal planning out of the window. That being said the prices are reasonable and deals can be found. Better than that "W" place for sure! read more

Brand new store. Super clean. Very friendly staff The pharmacy here is phenomenal. I needed a prescription filled this evening after cvs held onto it for 48 hours only to tell me they didn't have that medication on hand. I came to this frys and interacted with the pharmacy manager and another employee who happened to be working this evening. They were both phenomenal. Not only did they have it filled within 10 minutes ; they also transferred my file from cvs to frys and then voluntarily ran my new prescription through the discount codes to give me the best rate. They were very friendly and quick and super helpful. I will come here again and again. read more

This Fry's is not only horrible with their produce and meat (it's either gone or old) but they will overcharge you. Make sure you check the prices when checking out. My fiancé was charged $29.99/Ib for a crown of broccoli. We were then over charged for chicken, jam, and other items. These were all on separate occasions. The digital coupons don't always come off at the end of your checkout. Frys loves to scam people bc they know people wont check their receipts. read more

I love this new Frys. So convenient for me. It's a smaller Frys than what I'm used to but they have everything. I absolutely love the layout. I can get in and out quickly. The staff is new and shiny. Ayanna checked me out today. She was quick, very friendly and sweet. Noah bagged my items and asked me questions about how I want them bagged. He was extremely polite. The deli girls were also quick and very helpful. Kendra, manager of the floral dept, really helped me out by putting ribbons on some floral items I was buying and cut off the price tag. I really appreciated her going above and beyond for me. I love the vibe of this store. The employees seem like they enjoy working there which makes me want to shop there more. read more

The tags are on them and they're in perfect condition. we could not find the receipt and had them look it up by our Fry's card number. I love Frys! This is the newest and closet location to me. We ordered a 6' party sub for my kids birthday. I went to pick it up and someone screwed up and gave it to the wrong person. Jeff the deli supervisor admitted the mistake and made it right.! They scrambled and got my order complete before my party. Seriously, what has happened to Fry's? One time my favorite store in the valley, I will never shop there again. Specifically the Jomax & I 17 location. Since it opened it has not met even a Walmart standard and I have driven the extra miles to Albertsons or Safeway. Yesterday, I was in a hurry and I ran in to get items to prepare a casserole for a friend whose mother had just passed away. They didn't have many of the items I needed, staples, such as French Bread, pasta, etc. Waiting at the Deli, the "gentleman" who finally helped me treated me as if I was an idiot when I asked for A specific cut of ham. "We don't have a slide ruler". Next, I went to the Seafood counter and waited, and waited, and waited ( while others walked up , waited and walked away. Watching the 7ish deli workers, directly beside the Seafood counter stand around chatting and ignoring those of us needing help, I also walked away. I picked out 2 sympathy cards and the rest of what I needed and I checked out. Not a word from either the checker or the bagger. I went to Albertsons to get the remaining items I needed and then home to make my casserole. Unpacking I realized that my sympathy cards did not make it in my groceries I purchased from Fry's. Then I went to make Whipped Cream for a pie to take with the casserole only to open the bottle of Whipping Cream I had just purchased at Fry's and almost fell over from the stench of the curdled cream. Expiration date was May, 2024 but there was no way it was usable. I called the store at 6:45 PM and when they finally answered, I was told Customer Service was closing soon and they couldn't help me until morning. Another trip to Safeway I got what I needed and finished the casserole for my friend's family, over an hour late. This morning I went in to get my refund for the cards and the spoiled cream and I admit I was not happy, but I was polite at the least. The Manager didn't see the issue. She had the cards that were not bagged with my groceries and giggled about the mistake. I told her I had purchased new ones last night and didn't need them. She refunded my cream and told me to have a good day. When I asked about the refund for my cards she looked at me like I was insane. Did she think I was just going to donate the $13 to their incompetency fund? she reluctantly refunded me for the cards and snipped " Have a great day" sarcastically when I walked away. Customer Service, pride in selling products that are the quality that is expected and the simple act if kindness is getting more and more obscure today and is certainly not a standard upheld by Fry's these days. My list if stores that I will never spend another cent or step foot in their business? 1) Target, 2) Walmart 3) Fry's, specifically I 17 and Jomax. read more

BE AWARE! This Fry's will steal your money. They are well aware that they have Apple gift card fraud issue and they are not doing anything to fix. They are having the customer taking the loss! Fry's is no difference from a thief! Purchased $500 worth of Apple Gift Card today and when i tried to redeem it right after the purchase, it shows redeemed. They refused to refund and told me to just call Apple to have it figured out. The store manager Edy admitted that they are well aware of the issue, but they can't do anything about it and she's just following the corporate policy to have the customer call Apple. read more

I live in the area and this Fry's is my go to for everything! Everyone is so helpful and the young people are awesome. I always have great service. These days that is difficult to come by. The store s always clean, well stocked and everyone has a smile on their face. Sometimes I stop by early and sometimes late and I always get the same great service . I was at the frys on Hatcher and cave creek. It was Nov 30th at 1 p.m. Self checkout the woman working was so rude not just to me but to 2 other people that were checking out beside me. She was a younger lady and Hispanic. The parking lot was full of trash and the shopping carts had trash in them. Mine had a unfinished drink in it. It was so gross. We shop at Frys as our main grocery store and decided to make a trip to this new store. Whoever designed the inside layout must have been drunk. The entrance to the produce was good and well laid out what was to follow is a joke. The meat counter and deli are hidden by a wall away to the left of produce. We then shopped the rest of the store the aisles were wide however we did buy an item which was already out of date despite only being open 1 week when we visited. To find the frozen section is nothing more than an expedition in itself. It was on the far end from produce and meat counter and nearly gave up looking for the freezer counters. The store has no flow unlike others we shop at. Won't be going back to this particular location !!! read more
