Turkey & biscuits with a side of "filling" aka stuffing. Across is a small sized turkey and waffles.

The ambience was very relaxed. Diner style furnishings. Food was very tasty but not overdone with flavour. All very home made ingredients. Good thing to note is that most dinners have the ability to be made smaller sized too. Flash flooding had hit the surrounding communities just before we arrived and they opened up extra areas to take care of the locals and others displaced. Definitely would stop again!

Nicely decorated interior, bright and clean. We stopped here for lunch on our way from Tioga to Maryland. Good food, good service, nice ambiance, value for money. We had Maryland Style CrabCakes and Steak with Mushrooms. Both were good, nicely prepared. A good place for a stopover to refresh. It also has a gas station next to it.

Chicken Special - tastes better than it looks.

The home page of their website states that they use the "finest and freshest ingredients." Yet, the turkey slices in the "Famous Turkey Dinner" are dry and bland, the stuffing is made with sliced white sandwich bread, the cranberry relish comes in a neatly shaped cube (seemingly carved right out of a can), and the corn tastes like microwaved canned corn. I had an interest in ordering the Turkey and Waffles, but looking over other reviewers' pictures, I noticed that the waffles looked a bit Eggo-esque and instantly decided to skip this dish. The food ended up being a huge turn off, starting with the straight-out-of-the-bag bread rolls, syrupy iced tea, and watered down coffee, which was a shame because the staff was so kind and friendly. Even though this restaurant specializes in turkey dishes, I would actually recommend the "Turkey Ranch Chicken Special". It was way tastier than the "Famous Turkey Dinner," and actually might have been made from fresh ingredients. It consisted of a chicken breast topped with mushrooms, BBQ sauce, melted provolone, along with a side of nicely crisp fries. I think this experience would have been more like 3 stars if I had not tasted the turkey dinner plate. For the price, I expected better quality. However, the restaurant is conveniently located right off the highway, and would be a good option for hungry drivers after a long trip.

    #1 Famous Turkey Dinner

Found this place by accident on the way to the PA Grand Canyon, so of course we had to stop for dinner on the way home. Went the #1 The Famous Turkey dinner and the Prime Rib Special!! Both had amazing taste and great portions of food. No room for dessert but the Reese Peanut Butter Pie sounded out of this world!!

We always stop here on our way home from a visit to my hometown of Wellsboro, PA. Husband always gets #1. I always get #26. What are they you ask? #1 is the fresh turkey dinner. Includes turkey, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce. He always gets the mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and corn. Also comes with a refreshing small paper cup of rainbow sherbet. Rolls and butter are also served. #26. Drooling just thinking about this magnificent creation. Scoop of turkey barbecue served on a grilled bun. Served open face. With bread n butter pickle chips on the side and your choice of chips or fries. Usually get the chips, but this time got fries. To go? 2 slices of strawberry rhubarb pie (seasonal)

I ordered the turkey sandwich. The white meat was dry and it was SO salty. The portions are small. I will not crave this restaurant.

Despite being one of the few patrons in the restaurant, my order took quite some time to come out. Drinks were made instantly, but I finished two before my entree arrived. The bathroom was strangely the only sticky element of the establishment. *Ribeye: huge 18 ounce ribeye served with sweet potato fries and creamed corn. Although I asked for medium rare, the edges leaned closer to medium well. That said, the steak was thoroughly seasoned and tender throughout. The sweet potato fries were heavily seasoned with sea salt, though the potatoes themselves were sweet enough to balance it out. The creamed corn was the most pungent and watery component. I wished the sauce had been thickened more, as it pooled underneath the steak and softened the bottom crust. Overall, this dish was hefty and a steal for the price. *Frost Bite: one of the seasonal mixed drinks. The Malibu and pineapple juice gave this a pina colada style profile. The blue curacao added a striking snowy appearance, though the drink itself leaned quite sweet. *Jingle Juice: another seasonal option, though this one packed a stronger alcohol punch. The tequila was more prominent, while the peach schnapps helped soften the edge. However, the cranberry and orange juices were barely noticeable, so it did not quite deliver the spiked fruit punch profile I was expecting. I loved the generous portions and strong flavors. While the execution was not perfect, the large sizes and heavy pours still made this a jolly experience.

However, it was clean. It has some old booths and the building is sagging, which it is old and I don't hold that against them. It took quite awhile for the server to greet us. He would disappear for long periods of time. Not sure if he was helping in the kitchen or what he was doing. He was very friendly and trying very hard to do the job. I just don't think he is cut out to be a server. My wife ordered the beef and noodles. It had mashed potatoes under the beef and noodles. Not sure who thought two starches in one dish was a good idea, but it didn't bother my wife. She said the dish was really good and she brought half of it home to enjoy for lunch tomorrow. I had the fish sandwich, which was really good. It was very fresh. I also ordered the ham and bean soup. It was fantastic. You could tell it was homemade and very flavorful. So we were very please with the food. Also, the food was very reasonably priced. We had a lot of food for only $33.00. So over all I'm giving it four stars. Not the perfect restaurant. They could improve in some areas, but we were very happy with the food.
