It's much more a deli than a grocery store- not a dig, just the truth. I arrived around 1pm and they had a steady stream of people ordering smoothies and deli items. They have a fun mix of locally made crafts, some organic food items and some weird art. Truly an original mix! But the most important things - the place was clean. The bathroom was clean. The employees were clean and exceptionally friendly and attentive. And most importantly - the food was soooo good!! I had the veggie wrap grilled (because I'm in an endless search for good vegetarian food to eat on the go) and omg was it good. Everything we purchased was fresh and high-quality. One of the days of our trip happened to be my dad's 80th birthday. He had already selected a pie and put it in the cart when we came across Cheryl putting together these beautiful fruit tarts in the bakery behind the window. I commented about the giant tub of whipped cream and she smiled and told us about what she was making. Dad put the pie back where he found it, and we purchased the tart Cheryl was making. She was so engaging and helpful. The tart was as beautiful as it was delicious! I was working from a shopping list my sister gave me, and when I got to the register, I realized I didn't have brioche bread. I high-tailed it back to the bakery, and Sara helped me. They only had brioche rolls in the bakery, so Sara came out to the bread aisle to help me. She found brioche bread. Seriously, rock-star level service. Even the cashiers were friendly and helpful. We would definitely shop here again. They're part of the Kroger family of brands, so we got to earn points that work at our local Fred Meyer.
