    Iced mocha and acai bowl
    Joe V.

The restaurant has a great decor. Menu is limited but what they do have is usually really tasty. We have tried the different toasts they have which have all been delicious. Acai bowls are also great. I have tried both iced and hot coffees as well as matcha. They are solid but nothing too stand out in terms of drinks. Staff is always friendly and it's a nice place to meet up, usually adequate seating whenever we have been there. Would definitely recommend. The only reason it did not get five stars is the somewhat limited menu.

Came here because I was parked nearby to pick up an order. They advertise "great breakfast sandwiches," but I do not agree based on my order today. Ordered the BrEGGY X Sammy Local Buns + 2 Farm Eggys + White Cheddar + Avocado + Pesto+ Pink Salt The "local bun" was a version of a common white blah hamburger roll. Toasting was not an option, or it was not offered. The "Sammy" did not taste good because the eggs had bits of shell, the avocado was very soft, and the pesto made the roll soggy. Did not taste the salt, and pepper would have improved the flavor. Ate only half. Ambiance: 2 stars Seating: Mostly high top tables with metal chairs Few low round wooden tables with childlike stools (photo) A long concrete bench along one wall (photo) --One look and I regretted not ordering takeout. Service: 3 stars Not helpful or friendly

I love this place. The decor, the staff, and the matcha. I elected to order it plain--matcha and almond milk. I added a little sweetener myself, like 1/2 a packet, and it was perfect. I honestly don't think I've had a better tasting matcha without any flavor added. And I love love LOVE the cement everything and plants galore. I want to go back right now!!!

Definitely one of Albany's nicer coffee spots! Very cozy and clean interior. Friendly staff. Ordered the brown sugar iced latte. Flavor is good but sweet. Would probably order next time with 50% sugar. Excited to visit again to try their acai bowls~

Healthy options just off of Latham Circle. I ordered " the works" smoothie bowl. It is a combination of acai, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and banana, topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, crunchy granola, banana slices, coconut, and peanut butter. It was really good but I'm sorry, it was gone before I remembered to take a photo. The store is cozy and welcoming with plenty of seating. I don't know that everything on the menu is vegan friendly, but this bowl was. The door says, "made with love & plants". The menu includes whole milk, feta, eggs, pesto which often includes diary parmesan cheese, and honey which seems to always be a debated item. Down the street at Bare Blends, all items are vegan friendly including sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches, grain bowls, and salads. While Fruit Loop may wish to continue to have these diary and meat items on the menu, I think a plant-based versions like JUST egg or tofu would be a welcome substitute for those wishing to keep their entire order truly plant powered. Other items available include juices, drinks, coffee, teas, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and toasts. The bowl was excellent and we're likely to return for more plant-based items.

My Berries smoothie was good. The service was nice and helpful. The ambience is great, the front lady also helped me pick out recess mood sparkling water. Overall great experience, if you want a good smoothie around this area. This can be a good place. Also they have avocado toasts and breakfast sandwiches. I didn't get those but they do.

As someone who LOVES playa bowls and gets them every chance I get if I'm visiting an area with the chain available, this place definitely held its own in comparison. The bowl was very filling and delicious and affordable for the amount they put in it. My strawberry matcha was underwhelming and I'd probably try a different drink next time I visit but I will definitely be back to try other bowls on the menu. If you love playa bowl or never had this type of spot definitely give this place a shot because it's well worth the visit!

Another bowl, smoothie, toast place. This one in Latham near Walmart. This one is good!!! The girls that served me were friendly and helpful. I ordered a Butter Me Up smoothie and substituted chocolate hazelnut for peanut butter which was an additional expense. I also got a piece of toast called Peach Please with ricotta, peaches, honey, cinnamon and hemp. Both were really good!!! If I'm going to pay a lot I want it taste good. This fit the bill.

I admit I had a little difficulty ordering through the website so I waited until I arrived at the store. Luckily for me I was able to place my order quickly and the staff was super friendly, answered all my questions, and made our order really fast. The first thing I noticed about the store was that it was very clean. The menu is on some monitors behind the counter but since I already had tried to order through the website I was able to tell the employee what I wanted directly from my phone. One thing I noticed about ordering from the website was it did specifically say which dressings were vegan friendly. That was one reason I waited to order at the store. Secondly on the website, the default for the bowls was chicken so to remove the chicken and substitute organic tofu would be the same price a just adding tofu and keeping the chicken on there. Which for me, wouldn't work because we're vegan. In the store ordering was no issue and changing chicken to tofu there was no price difference so the Street Corn Grain Bowl ended up being $11.95 as it should be vice $13.70 like the website was trying to charge me. Aside from the technical difficulties, the rewards program is awesome, and the food was delicious, fresh, and filling. We were totally satisfied with the service, and the food. Thank you so much!

Excellent food, not so pleasant atmosphere…read more We stopped at Liza's of Troy for breakfast in Feb 2025 based on good reviews and appealing food pics. The order was taken at the register and then brought to our table. The food tasted great and was served quickly! All the dishes had a beautiful presentation! Coffee was a French press and was really good! The place had no cream or sugar for the coffee. Also there were no salt and pepper shakers on any table. When I asked for some salt they gave me a plastic sauce cap with some salt on the bottom to take it with my fingers. It was quite weird. For some reason "Butternut Squash Bowl" had only one egg while all other breakfast items had two. Not sure why this one was special. The real problem however was the smell. The very first impression we got upon entering was a strong smell of fried bacon and other foods. It was like standing next to a stove because the space is fully open, with no divider between the sitting area and the kitchen. In such a setup you need a strong hood exhaust but that in turn would make a lot of noise. Anyway, instead of taking our time enjoying the breakfast and great coffee we had to finish it asap and escape to prevent our jackets absorbing the smell :( We are giving Liza's of Troy 4 stars is it got 5+ on the food and coffee and 3 on the interior and atmosphere. Food ordered Butternut Squash Bowl - excellent and nicely presented. Had to order additional egg though. Breakfast Bowl - excellent and nicely presented. Big Betty Breakfast Sandwich - delicious.
