The image shows a cafe interior with a modern, minimalist design. The ceiling has wooden slats with embedded lighting, and there are hanging spherical pendant lights. The counter is made of light wood with vertical slats and is decorated with numerous potted plants, including a large pineapple. Behind the counter, shelves hold additional plants and decor, and a menu board is visible on the wall. The overall aesthetic emphasizes natural materials and greenery.

Definitely one of Albany's nicer coffee spots! Very cozy and clean interior. Friendly staff. Ordered the brown sugar iced latte. Flavor is good but sweet. Would probably order next time with 50% sugar. Excited to visit again to try their acai bowls~

Healthy options just off of Latham Circle. I ordered " the works" smoothie bowl. It is a combination of acai, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and banana, topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, crunchy granola, banana slices, coconut, and peanut butter. It was really good but I'm sorry, it was gone before I remembered to take a photo. The store is cozy and welcoming with plenty of seating. I don't know that everything on the menu is vegan friendly, but this bowl was. The door says, "made with love & plants". The menu includes whole milk, feta, eggs, pesto which often includes diary parmesan cheese, and honey which seems to always be a debated item. Down the street at Bare Blends, all items are vegan friendly including sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches, grain bowls, and salads. While Fruit Loop may wish to continue to have these diary and meat items on the menu, I think a plant-based versions like JUST egg or tofu would be a welcome substitute for those wishing to keep their entire order truly plant powered. Other items available include juices, drinks, coffee, teas, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and toasts. The bowl was excellent and we're likely to return for more plant-based items.

My Berries smoothie was good. The service was nice and helpful. The ambience is great, the front lady also helped me pick out recess mood sparkling water. Overall great experience, if you want a good smoothie around this area. This can be a good place. Also they have avocado toasts and breakfast sandwiches. I didn't get those but they do.

As someone who LOVES playa bowls and gets them every chance I get if I'm visiting an area with the chain available, this place definitely held its own in comparison. The bowl was very filling and delicious and affordable for the amount they put in it. My strawberry matcha was underwhelming and I'd probably try a different drink next time I visit but I will definitely be back to try other bowls on the menu. If you love playa bowl or never had this type of spot definitely give this place a shot because it's well worth the visit!

tables and stools in a restaurant - The image shows a cafe interior with a high ceiling, white walls, and a polished concrete floor. Wooden tables and stools are arranged in the space, with a large leafy plant partially obscuring the view. Pendant lights hang from the ceiling, providing warm lighting. A woman is seated on one of the stools, looking at her phone. In the background, there are shelves with potted plants and clothing items, and a small table with two stools against the wall. The decor emphasizes natural materials and a minimalist aesthetic.

Another bowl, smoothie, toast place. This one in Latham near Walmart. This one is good!!! The girls that served me were friendly and helpful. I ordered a Butter Me Up smoothie and substituted chocolate hazelnut for peanut butter which was an additional expense. I also got a piece of toast called Peach Please with ricotta, peaches, honey, cinnamon and hemp. Both were really good!!! If I'm going to pay a lot I want it taste good. This fit the bill.

32 oz Special - A dessert in a clear cup from Fruit Loop features a pink strawberry-flavored layer at the bottom, topped with whipped cream, fresh strawberry slices, and multicolored sprinkles. Two white plastic spoons are inserted into the whipped cream. The cup has a Fruit Loop logo with a leaf design and the words "smoothies" and "bowls." The background shows a cafe interior with wooden tables, stools, and a few customers sitting and chatting, along with some green plants.

The juice was straight up from a bottle powder, it looked like bright Sunny D from Walmart. Total rip off of my $19. I was the only customer there, the front guy took my order, then started doing other things, totally ignored me for like 10 minutes. New customers came in and started putting in orders and he started making their orders and delivering them. They have a n automated system that shows them, what # order is going on. I was #19, my order took them 20 minutes to make (juice part) $6.99 for powder juice, that the menu claims has fresh orange, beets and cayanne. I am going to show you the pictures. The egg in my sandwich was not cooked. Liquid yucky white stuff in my Sandwich, I didn't ask for tomato or avocado, which they put in. See I had $9.99 orange and ginger juice from the Honest Weight Food Coop couple days ago. Bitter, sweet and Freshest of all. You know my standard is already high for citrusy juice. I can't take cheap powdery from the bottle juice, came home, threw it out. The worst part is that I asked the owner/front person if they used real fresh stuff, and they said Yes they do. So clearly they lied. I will never be back. People were liking açaí bowl, which they are selling for like $9 for small thing with few choppings of fruits. Looked pretty small for $9.

Quick, inexpensive, tasty health food…read more There is plenty of parking in a plaza that has another half dozen or so eating establishments. There is a traffic light on Hoosick Street, so getting into and out of the parking lot is easy. There is no table service. My observation is that the vast majority of their business is take out. You order at the counter and after they're done making your order they call your name out and you pick it up at the counter. Just like Burger King or McDonald's. Your order is displayed on a touchscreen that asks how do you want to pay, what kind of receipt you want, and if you want to leave a tip. I usually leave a small tip, although they don't do anything other than their job. They just take your order and make your food and that's it. I can't see anything that differentiates good service from bad service. Eating in is functional but not comfortable. Similar to a fast food restaurant The bathrooms are relatively clean, the tables are usually, but not always, clean. The dining tables have hard wooden benches. At least they have cushions on some of the benches that make sitting a little more comfortable. All in all, a typical fast food dining experience. The food is healthy, but much more flavorful than typical health food. I like the sriracha sauce, which spices up everything. I've narrowed my selections down to one or two items that I get on a regular basis. They are consistent about how they make each food item. Every order is identical, neat, and tidy. There are a number of signature items, but everything can be customized. Some additional items come at no cost, for others there is a small up charge. This is essentially a fast food restaurant serving healthy food. The dining in experience could be improved, and the service could be more consistent, but the food itself is fresh and tasty. But there were just enough little things that, when added up, kept my review from being more favorable. I like to craft a salad, which you can do easily here. But if you're doing that while at the counter, unless you're looking at the menu from your phone, you only see the make-your-own ingredients on one monitor that changes what it displays about every 5 seconds. It took me several iterations to see the complete list of greens, proteins, additions, dressings, etc.. Maybe you could slow down how quickly the display changes, or maybe put a laminated copy of the menu on the counter? I was disappointed that salmon wasn't available, and they said they've had a problem getting it recently. That's not their fault, but disappointing anyway. The grilled chicken I ordered instead was fine, though chilled, meaning it was cooked earlier in the day. There was also something inedible in my salad, about pea-sized. I have no idea what it was, it wouldn't have come from any of the salad ingredients I ordered. I have to watch out for things like these, because in the past I've had crowns knocked out from biting into foods with surprises at restaurants. The rest room was clean but needed service. The soap dispenser was empty, and the wastebasket was full. Since the majority of their business appears to be take-out, and the restaurant had only been open for about 3 hours, it led me to believe they didn't bother to service it in the morning. While I'm used to "healthy" being more expensive than "starchy," even knowing I'd pay additional for the protein and certain add-ins such as avocado, the overall price, with beverage and tip, was still more than an equivalent amount at other places offering similar options in the area. None of this was deal-breaking, and just a few tweaks could easily add another star to a future revised review.

I proudly announce to the front person / people that I am new to this business. So they help me by making good suggestions etc. The front lady seemed a bit shy or an introvert, I really get that and that's okay, not everyone is ready to jump on a new customer. Shout out to introverts, all respect to you guys. Although bit unfriendly but she was able to help me order a smoothie. Pitaya Smoothie : Strawberries with pineapples, coconut milk with Pitaya? I never even tried Pitaya before, she said it's like dragon fruit. These were the key ingredients. However the combination of the fruits seemed bit off. I guess I compare every smoothie to the Honest Weight food coop. But berries go together. Beets and carrots and apple and lemon are acceptable pairing. Anyways may be I am wrong, thinking that Pitaya smoothie combination is bit strange. The strawberries didn't seem fresh, powder fruit might or might not have been used. I am not able to reverse engineer this smoothie. I got a salmon salad. Salmon was cured and not fresh fried, I had wished the front lady would have told me that. I do not like cured meats at all. The salads come in two sizes. Regular and large. Other than the cured salmon, the salad was great, fresh ingredients. The salad dressing was good too. Ambience was really quiet. Seems like a popular spot. Many clients stopped to get food. I would surely go back to try more things, other than the cured salmon. I have not written a long review in a while. I would definitely try this place. May be the staff will warm up overtime

Excellent food, not so pleasant atmosphere…read more We stopped at Liza's of Troy for breakfast in Feb 2025 based on good reviews and appealing food pics. The order was taken at the register and then brought to our table. The food tasted great and was served quickly! All the dishes had a beautiful presentation! Coffee was a French press and was really good! The place had no cream or sugar for the coffee. Also there were no salt and pepper shakers on any table. When I asked for some salt they gave me a plastic sauce cap with some salt on the bottom to take it with my fingers. It was quite weird. For some reason "Butternut Squash Bowl" had only one egg while all other breakfast items had two. Not sure why this one was special. The real problem however was the smell. The very first impression we got upon entering was a strong smell of fried bacon and other foods. It was like standing next to a stove because the space is fully open, with no divider between the sitting area and the kitchen. In such a setup you need a strong hood exhaust but that in turn would make a lot of noise. Anyway, instead of taking our time enjoying the breakfast and great coffee we had to finish it asap and escape to prevent our jackets absorbing the smell :( We are giving Liza's of Troy 4 stars is it got 5+ on the food and coffee and 3 on the interior and atmosphere. Food ordered Butternut Squash Bowl - excellent and nicely presented. Had to order additional egg though. Breakfast Bowl - excellent and nicely presented. Big Betty Breakfast Sandwich - delicious.
