Açaí base just tasted like ice. Fruit was fresh but they are very skimpy on toppings so you don't get much of them.

Very good food with vegan options. The smoothie was delicious, and great avocado toast.

Since that, it went downhill. The server took our drink and food order. I didn't get my coffee without asking twice for it, even though they brought 2 iced lattes that another member of our party ordered. Then we watched for 20 minutes as people that came in multiple parties after us got their food and we had nothing. Then she brought 3 out of 4 meals. My girlfriend ordered the special Raspberry Nutella French Toast. It came with strawberries and we were told, "we're out of raspberries so we substituted strawberries." That is total BS. How about telling us you are out of raspberries and asking if we want something else. My girlfriend can't really eat strawberries since they make her break out. Even worse is I STILL didn't have my food. Server said, "yours is coming, but I didn't want these to get cold." After the rest of my party was halfway done with their breakfast and I still didn't have mine, I asked for a manager. I was told there is no manager there...another load of BS. Server came back and I told her I didn't want my food at this point. She said, "okay, I'll just bring the bill." Are you f'ing kidding me??? You expect us to pay for this crap?? Needless to say, I will NEVER be back to this $hithole. Service is horrible and they will not let you complain to a manager. No manager is there on a busy weekend day? I find that hard to believe. Stay away from this place if you actually want to eat a meal and not just watch everyone around you eat. If you do decide to go, make sure not to sit in Tara's section.

I had some time to spare recently after dropping my dog off at a veterinary clinic in Troy. I ordered the Turkish Breakfast Plate which turned out to be the most expensive breakfast on the menu. It came with a lot of food. It included eggs, Simit ( a Turkish sesame bagel), grapes, toast, honey, olives and cream cheese. I also ordered a Turkish coffee which is a little stronger than what I'm use to. It hit the spot. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant small but clean and cute. It looks as though the owners might have added a table. There are three or four tables in all. There's a new partition in the kitchen providing a little more distance between customers and those working on food prep. Gone are the beautiful ornate gold detailed Turkish dinner plates and teacups. I found them charming though not practical. I sort of miss them but they looked like heirloom items which wouldn't be appropriate for day-to-day use. They've been replaced by simple white dish-ware. Much more cost effective. FYI. There are no restrooms for customer use. That issue never came up for me but an older couple came in looking for a restroom and the owner advised them to go to the fast food restaurant down the street. As for the food, it was every bit as good as I expected. Some things don't change. I took the leftovers home and made another meal of it the next day.

Portions were incredibly tiny small, from the bacon to the small egg. The food also arrived pretty cold. The taste was alright, but for what you get, I wouldn't say it was worth the price. I just couldn't believe the tiny portions. After eating one of the sandwiches I was still starving.

The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very attentive. I had pancakes and sausage links. The pancakes were good but lacked flavor, the sausage links were some of the best I have ever had. It doesn't compare to Manorys in downtown Troy, which is usually our go to spot for breakfast. If you're in the area and looking for a quick reasonable priced breakfast, this place is an excellent choice. Caution!! They are a CASH ONLY restaurant!

But there was a special on my last stop that was a mushroom burger and I didn't expect much but the burger was excellent, great tasting even with the canned mushrooms that I believe they use. I truly recommend coming here for just about anything. My go to is usually an omelet with no homefries but the spinach with feta, so good. Now after trying a burger I may get more of them and you definitely can't go wrong with a turkey reuben. I've had the breakfast bowls and a chicken dish too and just about anything you get you will enjoy but like me will find your favs. Something definitely for everyone is on their big menu.
