We walked in and were immediately greeted, I advised that it was our first time visiting, and we were offered free samples of the frozen yogurt, I thought it was such a nice gesture! Here, you don't weigh the cups. You select the size cup you want than go over to get your frozen yogurt, once you get your frozen yogurt you can select up to 3 toppings for free, any more than the 3 will cost more. Once you've selected your toppings you pay for your treat! We decided to eat in the shop there was a good amount of seating available on our visit, but seating is limited as it's a cozy shop. We really enjoyed our frozen yogurt. I got churned vanilla, strawberries n cream, and strawberry shortcake frozen yogurt, I topped it with cheesecake pieces, fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I met up with friends at Frozen Kups for an ice cream social and it was awesome! Not only was the company good, but the ice cream amazing! There were lots of flavors to choose from and there's also the option to mix and match if you so choose. I mixed cookies & cream, double chocolate, and vanilla & chocolate swirl, then I topped it with Oreo pieces, peanuts and waffle cone pieces which was an amazing mix of sweet and salty, with the right amount of crunch. Frozen Kups overall atmosphere is great; from the warm decor to the loving personality of the owners and the staff this was a great experience. The store is well maintained and very clean. This family-owned and operated business is the cat's meow! You know it's good because who even talks like that anymore? You can have samples of their frozen yogurt flavors if you ask for a cup. I will say the first time I went, it was off-putting that the owner had to come over to the machines to hand me cups for what I wanted to sample. It doesn't add to the customer experience but I get that someone people probably abuse the privilege when management isn't looking. They also have way more than just froyo. They have gelato, custard, etc. and they have some dairy-free options as well. In the freezer, you'll find grab 'n' go treats and you'll have the option for so many toppings at the bar. What a cute little spot in Harrisburg to grab frozen yogurt! I've been living in Harrisburg for two years and popped in here a few months ago for the first time. My daughter and I have made this our weekly trip for mama daughter time. Not sure how but the flavors really come through. They rotate and they are different. For example, today I had chocolate dipped strawberry. My daughters favorite has been yellow cake batter. The inside is cute. There's also outdoor seating. Gelato. Italian ice. Shakes. They do birthday parties, cater. Hours: 1-8pm Tuesday -Sunday. Closed Mondays. At this point I've met the owners (husband wife), owners mother, owners sister. Always exceptional service. I had just left from having lunch at Vortex next door and wanted something sweet, soon as I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff member. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. I decided on the cookies and cream milkshake and it was delicious. We went on Sunday and I had a milkshake and my wife made a small sundae (which was plenty big for one person). It's a family-run business and it's neat, clean, and fun. There are about 7-8 soft serve stations to choose from with multiple combos. I had a chocolate-vanilla shake with fresh coconut and whipped cream added and it was EXCELLENT. My wife had a Tahitian vanilla sundae with numerous toppings including peanuts, cookies, hot fudge, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. Dynamite. The owner is teaching his kids how to help the customers and its great to see the whole family involved. We will definitely be going back to support this local small business. read more

I enjoy this frozen yogurt spot. It's in a convenient location and I can get my frozen yogurt fix easily. I can't comment on the interior because my husband always goes in to get mine, but he said it's clean inside. As for the offerings and taste itself I can say that I've always enjoyed what he brings me. I like the basic chocolate with chocolate syrup and oreo crumbles toppings. I think he put graham cracker crumbs or cone crumbs on it once and that was good too. Overall, I like this spot and I plan to return throughout the warmer months. read more

This yogurt shop is similar to Sweet Frogs but it has a lot more options of flavors to choose from. ...24 to be exact. They also sell gelato if you prefer. The difference between this shop and their competition is that you pay for the size cup you fill. They don't weigh the cup or count how many toppings you add so you can put as much as you can fit in the cup! By my count they had 30 different toppings. They also had Carmel and chocolate syrup. Oh and they have waffle cones if you prefer. There is an area where you can sit inside an enjoy your yogurt or you can take it to go. They are closed on Mondays and open until 8 during the week and 9 on weekends. They accept credit cards. Enjoy! read more

This is a great spot! I've never been a big fan of places like Sweet Frog, but this was different for me. I like that you pay for a cup and can put as many toppings as you want into it rather than having to weigh it, especially since I like heavier toppings like brownie chunks! The flavors were delicious! I highly recommend the Mississippi Mud flavor (which tastes like yummy chocolate cake). Pros: staff was super friendly, they've got lots of flavors and a decent amount of topping options. Given that they're new, I was immediately greeted and offered sample cups to try flavors (some of which I'd never had before, so I was pleasantly surprised at the variety). This also brings a missing option to Harrisburg which I love since I live just north in Concord and frequently commute through town. Cons: the biggest con (in my opinion) is that they have set prices based on cup size whereas most other froyo places have a price per ounce and a weighing system. I wanted to go and get something small to give it a try, but it's almost not worth it when you won't fill a cup and get your money's worth. From a layout perspective, I think they should also move the cups closer to the machines instead of near the front door. If it was busier, this would've been hectic to sample some, go back and get a cup, then go through to checkout. They should also label the toppings because I wasn't sure what a couple of them were. read more

At Frozen Kups that have A TON of flavors of both frozen yogurt + gelato. You'll notice there's signs for lower sugar or lower fat options. You will pick a cup size, and then you'll fill it up! After putting your yogurt in your cup you get to top it with ANYTHING you could imagine! Candy to fresh fruit to syrups to whipped cream. They got you! And it's once price, no matter the toppings. If you like toppings, this is the place! If you don't, I wouldn't recommend it, because it would be pretty expensive for the yogurt or gelato alone. It will cost you $5-7 regardless. Really nice frozen yogurt shop. Similar to Yogurtland... but much better than Yogurtland. There are several reasons that separate this yogurt shop from others: 1. Great Frozen Yogurt!!! For me the measuring stick is how good is the plain old vanilla yogurt that is served. Frozen Kup's Churned Vanilla flavor is the best one I have had so far. Not to be outdone... the other flavors measure up too. 2. The yogurt is purchased by the cup and not by how much it weights. I love this idea. As long as you can fit it in your cup... It's all gooooood. Many flavors, waffles, cones and toppings to choose from. Think of it as a work of art and you are the Picasso of frozen yogurts. 3. The crew and owners are fantastic. Love the fact that this shop has activities for the children. The day I was there they had an arts painting event for the kids. What can I say... well done! 4.
