The mark of high quality service and exemplary business practices is how they handle mistakes. Yesterday afternoon we were supposed to pick up a pre-ordered specific pinata and take it to Austin for our granddaughter's birthday party this morning. When we were ready to pick it up late yesterday afternoon, there had been a mixup on the order and they thought it was supposed to be for a later date . They pitched right in and worked on it overnight and even met us there before regular opening so we could get it to Austin in time for the party. It is dry, it is perfect. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE Also very talented with their creations. If you need a pinata for anything, this is the place to go!!!

I had no trouble finding a parking spot both times I went there Cost: The medium sized piñata I got was 27.06 with tax. It is an additional cost to purchase the stick. I believe the larger sized piñatas are 35. Inside the store you can find more than just piñatas. I saw some new year's eve decorations that were very affordable. They also have some candy for the piñata and other types of decorations and party favors. They even have baptism and Quincenera party favors. Overall: it's a very small boutique size piñata store but they do have a huge selection. They also custom make piñatas but make sure you call ahead or they will charge a rush fee Also when you pick up the piñata make sure you bring that recipe back!!

The first store I visited was the Disney Store in the Premium Outlet Mall. I was highly certain that they would have the new Little Mermaid items, since it's Disney and all. Unfortunately, I was totally wrong. They did not have nada, only the old Little Mermaid items. I found that to be a bit strange seeing that the New Little Mermaid, which is an African American, is a part of Disney as well. The next store I tried was Walmart, which was a complete and epic fail. However, I didn't really expect Walmart to have these items, but was hoping they would, so that my search could end, lol. So much for wishful thinking. Furthermore, I finally conjured up Party City, which should have been my first train of thought since they are in fact a party store. However, my oldest child is 28 years old and my youngest child is 21 years old. I have not shopped for a kid's birthday party in ages, lol. Fortunately, I stumbled upon what I was searching for when I entered the building. The new Little Mermaid party items, played by, African American actress/singer, Halle Bailey were up front and centered on an end cap! I was so shocked and couldn't believe it. Immediately, I grabbed a shopping cart and commenced to fill it up with every new Little Mermaid item I could get my hands on. By the time I checked out, I had spent nearly $300! Geez! I'm so glad my children are all grown up now, lol! Moreover, on the day of the birthday celebration, I returned to Party City to purchase the balloons. I had already gotten all of the decor and party favors that I needed previously, but I waited for the BIG DAY to purchase the balloons. I arrived 20 minutes before opening hours and decided to wait in my truck since that wasn't too long of a wait. However, ten minutes after opening time, they still had not unlocked the doors for the patiently waiting customers who were gathered outside in front of the door. Finally, at 10:20 am, they finally unlocked the doors and let everyone inside, which was 20 minutes after opening time. I immediately hopped out of my truck, went inside, grabbed the Little Mermaid balloons, and headed for the checkout area. I was the first customer in line, and I just knew I was doing good with time and everything. Unfortunately, they were having technical issues with their registers and were unable to sign on. I was forced to wait for an additional 30 minutes while the workers tried to rectify the situation. Overall, my shopping experience was a great and pleasant one during the first visit, even though I was not greeted by any of the workers, nor was I offered any assistance. However, the second visit was a flop because of the technical issues they were having with their system. I don't know, but it seems like they should have some sort of backup system for emergencies such as this one. I am giving them three stars based on the items that were in stock that I sooooo desperately needed. Customer service was just okay. They were not friendly or welcoming but rather nonchalant and distant. They do not attempt to connect with the customers and to go above and beyond to assist the customers in finding merchandise. Also, if the store hours are for a certain time then they should honor that, instead of making customers wait in the hot sun for them to open. They didn't even have the decency or the courtesy to apologize for opening the doors 20 minutes late.

But it was nowhere to be found within the brick and mortar shoppe. Alas, we settled for the savory potato book. The autumnal kitchen aprons piqued my attention and I may revisit pretty soon. Everything is becoming gold and orange within the shoppe. The large green parrot at the shoppe is quite amusing and adorable. We love interacting with him. It's always fun to visit Bering's, they have something for everyone. They often have deals as well, talk about sweet! Oh and don't forget the coffee and chocolates. They have handmade chocolates, biscotti and local coffee. The culinary equipment here is quite nice, whether you're looking for a new teapot, knife set or mugs, bowls. I only had 2 weeks from the moment I called them, to our event. Lili answered the phone every time I called, and personally responded to every request I had within hours. I gave her pinterest photos of our event vibe & what we were going for, and asked her for her expertise to help us put together a balloon color scheme. We were less than a week from the event, when I had an additional balloon idea and wanted her opinion on whether it would look good/what kind of balloons. So she said she take my idea and research balloons that could bring it to life! She soon found that the balloons I wanted weren't available, but she said she could improvise and bring multiple options on the day of the event - to see what would look best. They showed up even earlier than promised, had already hung the majority of the balloon garland, AND by the time they were finished with setup, I came out to the final set up event space, and they took full initiative to create the perfect balloon wording that exceeded by my last minute vision!! If you've been to Five Below, Big Lots, and/or Cost Plus World Market, you'll notice the similarities. They have a wide array of merchandise, but maybe not as many choices in each product line. So they have party supplies, home decor, personal hygiene, pharmacy items (think vitamins and supplements and OTC medicine), snacks and drinks, toys, school/office supplies, craft supplies, and seasonal/holiday items. They just might only have 3-4 shelf units for any one of those lines. But the prices are great. Don't be surprised if you walk up to the register and you don't see anyone - the staff were friendly, but they were all over the store, cleaning, stocking, etc. So the registers are self-serve. There is a gift available if you download their app and register online, and we found someone quickly to help us redeem it. It was a very nice experience, and we definitely want to go back If you're like us at all, some of the items were things we recognized (brand name) at good prices, and some we didn't recognize and the prices weren't super-great. From my understanding, someone was supposed to contact us the day before the delivery to let us know the timeframe but no one reached out. They actually called us the day of the delivery saying their people had shown up at the business to deliver but no one was there (we were closed and needed to have someone go out to meet the delivery person). On the pickup day, I had to call them to find out the pickup time, which was also not very accurate since they were coming from the Woodlands. I waited until about 4pm for pickup of the items. Other than that, the items were great and the delivery people were super nice and helpful. Just hope that they can refine their delivery procedures so the customer doesn't have to wait around all day for drop off and pick up. We paid approximately $150 for the delivery service since you can't go and pick up items yourself.

Last year, I was able to order and rent tables and linen from here and had no problems at all. This year, I order tables, linen, and a 20 x 20 tent with walls. Our event was for December 18, so I requested for the rental items to be delivered on December 17. The initial order was a bit too expensive for my party budget, so I asked our sales representative, Nakeesha Clemmons, to remove some of the extra items to help us with pricing. Somewhere in the process of editing our initial order, Nakeesha changed our setup date from December 17 to December 18. Since the setup date was not something I asked to be adjusted, I did not think to check when the order was updated. On December 17, when prepping the venue for the event with my Event Committee, I became concerned that the rentals had not been delivered. I called Nakeesha to inquire, and she informed me she had me down for setup on December 18. I informed her that, that could not be right as I know I scheduled the order to be setup on December 17; which makes sense since our event was on December 18. I found the email where I originally requestee setup on December 17. I asked Nakeesha to accommodate our December 17 need, and she said she would check with her manager. When I asked to speak to her manager, Jason, he called me back and said the same thing as Nakeesha. I informed him of the issue with our setup date changing. He informed me he was not able to accommodate our need. I am VERY disappointed this happened leading up to our important event. It caused added stress on the date of our event. BEWWARE of this company changing important details without your consent.
