Rented barricades and a red carpet from Any Occasion back at the beginning of September and although the renting part was easy, the delivery part could be better. From my understanding, someone was supposed to contact us the day before the delivery to let us know the timeframe but no one reached out. They actually called us the day of the delivery saying their people had shown up at the business to deliver but no one was there (we were closed and needed to have someone go out to meet the delivery person). On the pickup day, I had to call them to find out the pickup time, which was also not very accurate since they were coming from the Woodlands. I waited until about 4pm for pickup of the items. Other than that, the items were great and the delivery people were super nice and helpful. Just hope that they can refine their delivery procedures so the customer doesn't have to wait around all day for drop off and pick up. We paid approximately $150 for the delivery service since you can't go and pick up items yourself. read more

SUPER DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW MY MOST RECENT ORDER WAS HANDLED! This was my second time renting tables and linen from this company for my annual holiday party. Last year, I was able to order and rent tables and linen from here and had no problems at all. This year, I order tables, linen, and a 20 x 20 tent with walls. Our event was for December 18, so I requested for the rental items to be delivered on December 17. The initial order was a bit too expensive for my party budget, so I asked our sales representative, Nakeesha Clemmons, to remove some of the extra items to help us with pricing. Somewhere in the process of editing our initial order, Nakeesha changed our setup date from December 17 to December 18. Since the setup date was not something I asked to be adjusted, I did not think to check when the order was updated. On December 17, when prepping the venue for the event with my Event Committee, I became concerned that the rentals had not been delivered. I called Nakeesha to inquire, and she informed me she had me down for setup on December 18. I informed her that, that could not be right as I know I scheduled the order to be setup on December 17; which makes sense since our event was on December 18. I found the email where I originally requestee setup on December 17. I asked Nakeesha to accommodate our December 17 need, and she said she would check with her manager. When I asked to speak to her manager, Jason, he called me back and said the same thing as Nakeesha. I informed him of the issue with our setup date changing. He informed me he was not able to accommodate our need. I am VERY disappointed this happened leading up to our important event. It caused added stress on the date of our event. I was very pleased with the delivery and pick up of our tent. They worked hard to make it work in the space I had and they made it look faboulus!. Specially at night with the lights. I also had them keep some sides open (I had walls added) in case rain would stop so we could get in and out easier and to get to other areas of the yard where the bar and extra seating spaces where available. Rented glassware and utensils for a party and as I had never been there before I wasn't sure how the process works. It's a very small, narrow front parking lot but on a Friday afternoon it's a busy place! The gals at the desk were helpful though and checked me in (and confirmed my order). They told me to drive around back to the loading area to get my order (2 large crates of glasses and a small but heavy box). I wasn't sure exactly where to go or how to pull in so I started backing in to the loading area. A guy started yelling at me to stop so I did. Then I sat there in my car (in drive) awaiting further instructions. After a minute or two, he was behind my car shouting again. I rolled down my window to ask him what he wanted me to do and he said "I've got your order, pop the trunk!" Well, I have a Subaru Crosstrek....there's no "popping the trunk" as it's "old school" manual! I told him he had to do it or I could get out and do it but I wasn't sure if that was allowed. For wedding rentals, they're rather limited. I was looking for a unity candle floor stand and a cathedral screen to display behind the altar area. I found both online on their website and reserved them on the phone with an employee before coming in to see them. The pictures online were pretty horrible - tiny and low res - but at least there were pictures. The store itself is quite nicely set up according to occasion, with a dining room area, fabrics, wedding, drapings, etc. You can browse around the items and also consult their rentals guide (found by the front desk) or ask an employee for help. Their employees were all very helpful...the person helping me may have been a little TOO helpful because she wouldn't stop talking. But other than that, everyone was very pleasant and made sure I was being helped. Back to the actual wedding rental items. For the candle floor stand, I found a big hodge podge of mismatched, old-looking floor stands. Most candle stands were from $15-$35 to rent...I ended up choosing a bronze 3 candle floor stand that I didn't end up using the day of the ceremony because it leaned so much that the candles kept falling off it! There was only 2 3-candle stands; all the rest were for at least 6 candles. The second item I rented was the 3-panel cathedral candle screen. This was in much better condition and came with the votive cups and new tea light candles to put in each cup. I was disappointed they didn't have a bigger screen for a more impressive effect on stage but 3 panels would be enough for a small stage. To reserve you must supply a credit card number but they won't charge until you pick it up. You can also sign a waiver to allow anyone to pick up or return for you. I picked my items up on Friday and they said we could return them anytime from Saturday through Monday. read more

Any Occasion Tents and Events has been contracted to provide a tent for our occasion Friday, October 22, 2021. They are scheduled to deliver the tent today, Thursday, October 21, 2021. No one in the office or the dispatch department ever called me or emailed me to ask me what time the tent could be delivered, nor did they call me or ever communicate the time of delivery today either. When I emailed this morning to ask what time the tent would be delivered, they said 3-4pm. We are a business that closes at 4pm. They refuse to move up delivery and want to be able to set the tent up when we are not on site to direct them and ensure accurate delivery. When I asked to move up the delivery, the lady had a massive attitude with me telling me that I was responsible for telling them when I needed delivery and they won't do anything about it now that they already scheduled delivery WITHOUT talking to the customer. They clearly do not care about the customer inconvenience, nor are they professional enough to call the customer the day before to ask about deliver. Busy with our event we planned on letting them know at pick up. Long story short they charged us an extra $100 plus for losing items we never received. My company used Any Occasion as our sole tents and rentals provider for our multi-day, large-scale food and beverage production in Sugar Land. They provided everything from tents, tables, chairs and linens to fencing, power distribution and kitchen equipment. The company was absolutely wonderful to work with both in the months leading up to our event during pre-production, as well as during setup, event times and break down. They were a wonderful partner in producing this event, and were integral in making our event a success. Lynne and Jason were our contacts. Lynne's response time was very quick and she kept us very organized and on track. Jason's technical knowledge and events experience and background was extremely helpful in planning our floor plan and our setup schedule. Our large Saturday/Sunday tented event began setup on Tuesday of the week prior to the event. In the meantime while juggling setup there, Any Occassion also provided rentals, setup and breakdown for two smaller dinners on Thursday as well as another reception event Friday. The way Lynne and Jason were able to juggle all the pieces for a multiple events, multiple day project and build was extremely impressive and all the while they managed to maintain the utmost level of professionalism. They were very accommodating of us and all our on-site tweaks and last minute requests. Truly, I can't say enough great things about working with them. They were an absolutely wonderful partner, and we could not have executed a successful weekend of hosting 3,500+ guests without them. For our wedding, we borrowed drapes, candle votive dividers, electric candles, and lanterns. They had delivery fee, second floor fee, and after hour break down fee (pretty common). Pros: price, availability, fast customer service. The glass in the lantern came broken. I called them and they made a note for that. Can't beat it! Cons: when i was calling them about the broken glass, i was told that the installer told them they installed non-drape items as well... while we were installing them ourselves AT THAT MOMENT and they were gone already. we did all the break downs other than the drapes by the time that they got there so they won't try to charge us again! also called to confirm our fax to change credit card information... probably twice. second time they still had old cc info. overall, i was satisfied with what i paid for. it wasn't exceptional but it also didn't ruin my wedding. probably won't work with them again. read more
