Rented barricades and a red carpet from Any Occasion back at the beginning of September and…read morealthough the renting part was easy, the delivery part could be better. From my understanding, someone was supposed to contact us the day before the delivery to let us know the timeframe but no one reached out. They actually called us the day of the delivery saying their people had shown up at the business to deliver but no one was there (we were closed and needed to have someone go out to meet the delivery person). On the pickup day, I had to call them to find out the pickup time, which was also not very accurate since they were coming from the Woodlands. I waited until about 4pm for pickup of the items. Other than that, the items were great and the delivery people were super nice and helpful. Just hope that they can refine their delivery procedures so the customer doesn't have to wait around all day for drop off and pick up. We paid approximately $150 for the delivery service since you can't go and pick up items yourself.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW MY MOST RECENT ORDER WAS HANDLED!…read more This was my second time renting tables and linen from this company for my annual holiday party. Last year, I was able to order and rent tables and linen from here and had no problems at all. This year, I order tables, linen, and a 20 x 20 tent with walls. Our event was for December 18, so I requested for the rental items to be delivered on December 17. The initial order was a bit too expensive for my party budget, so I asked our sales representative, Nakeesha Clemmons, to remove some of the extra items to help us with pricing. Somewhere in the process of editing our initial order, Nakeesha changed our setup date from December 17 to December 18. Since the setup date was not something I asked to be adjusted, I did not think to check when the order was updated. On December 17, when prepping the venue for the event with my Event Committee, I became concerned that the rentals had not been delivered. I called Nakeesha to inquire, and she informed me she had me down for setup on December 18. I informed her that, that could not be right as I know I scheduled the order to be setup on December 17; which makes sense since our event was on December 18. I found the email where I originally requestee setup on December 17. I asked Nakeesha to accommodate our December 17 need, and she said she would check with her manager. When I asked to speak to her manager, Jason, he called me back and said the same thing as Nakeesha. I informed him of the issue with our setup date changing. He informed me he was not able to accommodate our need. I am VERY disappointed this happened leading up to our important event. It caused added stress on the date of our event. BEWWARE of this company changing important details without your consent.

We wanted an at home, down to earth engagement celebration and she helped every step of the way. She came to our home and sat down with us and walked us through the ins and outs of tents and costs of rental for furniture and helped select the color combinations we used. She offered her expertise in booking my hair and make up stylist, food and even hiring the additional help we needed to keep the night smooth. She is very professional and has a kind and caring manner to her business. Set up of the tent was 2 days prior to the event and take down was the day after the event. On the day of the event, there was a large storm that was predicted to come through. She set up walls around the tent and drapes to tone down the winds. Her quick thinking techniques ensured a well planned back up to our evening. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend her services to anyone interested in throwing an outdoor or even indoor Indian event!!

One thing we did not find with other rental companies was the help to bring your vision to life. Daniel was such a huge help!!!! We will never look anywhere else again because the service received at UNIK far exceeds any of their competitors.

What's more, they were flexible! Instead of getting a love seat in my package, they allowed me to get extra chairs, where more rigid companies would have charged us for the full package with the loveseat PLUS the extra chairs. Our organization is a fan, and we will definitely be back!

On the…read moremorning of the event, around 11:00 AM, I received a voicemail saying the slide had been damaged and they were canceling my reservation. They mentioned they had a replacement available. I returned the call within about 30 minutes, but by then I was told the replacement had already left the warehouse and was no longer available. That left us without a slide on the day of our party, with a house full of kids and guests and virtually no chance of finding another rental on one of the busiest days of the year. I understand accidents happen and equipment can get damaged. My disappointment is that there didn't seem to be a backup plan to make things right for a customer who had reserved a premium rental for a major holiday. When you're spending this much money and planning an event around a specific attraction, reliability matters. Unfortunately, this experience was incredibly stressful and disappointing, and I wouldn't feel comfortable depending on this company for an important event in the future.

Our wedding goals were drama-free and stress-free. We interviewed several wedding planners with…read morethis in mind and Stephanie was the ONLY one that gave us peace of mind due to both her demeanor and experience! She helped us plan a 3-day event, focusing on the wedding and reception itself. We married in June 2023 but started planning in early 2022, so we had chosen the wedding venue and reception location. You may say, well what did Stephanie do? The answer is a whole hell of a lot, including letting us keep our sanity. We were initially just going to use the TheKnot and plan the wedding ourselves. We were quickly disabused of this notion when we sent quote requests to the top 3 vendors for photography and flowers and were quickly overwhelmed with the questions. Once we selected Stephanie and explained our "vision", she selected the top 1-2 vendors in each category, told them our vision and we just met with them for our comfort. Further, even though we had decided to pick folks for hair and make-up, our choices fell through and Stephanie was able to find awesome options. Finally, Stephanie also understood the ins and outs of the special venue (the Butterfly Garden at the Houston Museum of Natural Science) and helped us navigate what we could and could not do. Additionally, the reception location was initially not going to provide a tasting due to our small party (~40 people), but Stephanie was able to wrangle one, which gave us a sense of comfort we otherwise would not have had. She also helped us with set-up and coordination for our welcome ("rehearsal") dinner, even though this was initially not in her remit. During the wedding, she kept us on track and focused. It exceeded our goals of being drama-and-stress free and everyone had a fantastic time! If you want to enjoy your wedding and have peace of mind, Stephanie is HIGHLY recommended!
