Rented barricades and a red carpet from Any Occasion back at the beginning of September and…read morealthough the renting part was easy, the delivery part could be better. From my understanding, someone was supposed to contact us the day before the delivery to let us know the timeframe but no one reached out. They actually called us the day of the delivery saying their people had shown up at the business to deliver but no one was there (we were closed and needed to have someone go out to meet the delivery person). On the pickup day, I had to call them to find out the pickup time, which was also not very accurate since they were coming from the Woodlands. I waited until about 4pm for pickup of the items. Other than that, the items were great and the delivery people were super nice and helpful. Just hope that they can refine their delivery procedures so the customer doesn't have to wait around all day for drop off and pick up. We paid approximately $150 for the delivery service since you can't go and pick up items yourself.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW MY MOST RECENT ORDER WAS HANDLED!…read more This was my second time renting tables and linen from this company for my annual holiday party. Last year, I was able to order and rent tables and linen from here and had no problems at all. This year, I order tables, linen, and a 20 x 20 tent with walls. Our event was for December 18, so I requested for the rental items to be delivered on December 17. The initial order was a bit too expensive for my party budget, so I asked our sales representative, Nakeesha Clemmons, to remove some of the extra items to help us with pricing. Somewhere in the process of editing our initial order, Nakeesha changed our setup date from December 17 to December 18. Since the setup date was not something I asked to be adjusted, I did not think to check when the order was updated. On December 17, when prepping the venue for the event with my Event Committee, I became concerned that the rentals had not been delivered. I called Nakeesha to inquire, and she informed me she had me down for setup on December 18. I informed her that, that could not be right as I know I scheduled the order to be setup on December 17; which makes sense since our event was on December 18. I found the email where I originally requestee setup on December 17. I asked Nakeesha to accommodate our December 17 need, and she said she would check with her manager. When I asked to speak to her manager, Jason, he called me back and said the same thing as Nakeesha. I informed him of the issue with our setup date changing. He informed me he was not able to accommodate our need. I am VERY disappointed this happened leading up to our important event. It caused added stress on the date of our event. BEWWARE of this company changing important details without your consent.

Stephen and his wife did our wedding in May of 2021. Emailing them can make up for 10 companies'…read moreworth of slow emails. In their defense, this was during covid, we postponed, and so we had a lot of time to plan. But it took 3 weeks to get an email back on several occasions. We didn't even have a signed contract til less than a month out. This is worrisome because it leaves them the possibility of price gauging. That wasn't how it turned out, however. We liked their studio, even though its so far away. They have everything on display and they move around different floral props to show what different centerpieces would look like. And they do a variety of things in addition to flowers like furniture, backdrops, and tablecloths. These are the things that turned out wrong/bad even though we had months of discussing. I double checked on these issues in our pictures and in the contract, and/or clearly recollect discussing it. The groom's boutonniere was not any different from the groom's men's boutonnieres. We had leis for both of us, bride/groom. The flowers in the leis were dying. It looked gross and we had to wear it. ($225 for both) The large centerpieces were not that large and full as we asked for. ($250 each) We asked for a lot of flower girl's petals. We didn't get that. There were no flowers on sweetheart table and there were big candles. We specifically asked for votives instead along with some flowers because Stephen kept pushing the idea of big candles. The first line of our contract says bride does not like lime green. But they put lime green in the bridal bouquet and in the large centerpieces! (Our planner thankfully broke off the, not to mention ugly shaped, lime green vines out of the bouquet when she saw the look on my face. I didn't have to say a word.) The bouquets all had straggly/wrinkled ribbons hanging from them. Way to ruin a bouquet! They had floating candles instead of pillar candles as stated in the contract for some of the centerpieces . The arch, was not decorated as we asked which we spoke about on several occasions. I would say overall the price was right, but the quality of their work is lacking (which does not reflect in the price). If you're choosing to use them, make sure what you want is written in the contract. You have a better chance of getting it if it is. I would also suggest to get your planner to send you pictures of the decor as they're setting up, including the centerpieces so that they can make adjustments as needed. I didn't realize til after that our stage was sad. I would expect a decorator to try to make a nice stage if they're working on it at all.

I am very disappointed with the Bloom Room and Stephen's service. I delayed on writing this review…read moresince I wanted them to have a chance to address the issue with me, but it has been a few weeks since the wedding, and I have not gotten a response back from them. During the planning process, Stephen and Kathy were very communicative about all the details. The invoice they prepared laid out the specific colors and flowers that would be used. They even requested reference photos of what we wanted and kept a printed copy of the photos in their files. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they replaced the burgundy dahlias in my bridal bouquet (which was written explicitly in the invoice) with hot pink/fuschia peonies. It was definitely not our wedding color, and the contrast was very clear next to my bridesmaid bouquets and dresses. Not only that, but the arrangement looked nothing like the reference photo I provided. I'm very disappointed, especially given that it was a $190 bouquet. I even followed up the week of the wedding, confirming that everything was good to go for our day. I'd think that would be the perfect opportunity to mention that for whatever reason they did not have the burgundy dahlias. There were a few other items that did not turn out correctly (groom's boutonniere was ivory rather than blush, hot pink peonies were used on our cross arrangement, burgundy agonis foliage was not used in the table arrangements), but I'm focusing on the bridal bouquet because in my opinion, it's the most important and most photographed piece of floral. I visited several florists before deciding on the Bloom Room (floral was actually the vendor I spent the most time shopping around for). In the end, I chose the Bloom Room for the convenience of having a large wooden cross for our altar, which was a priority for us. However, I would have been better off going with any of the other florists I visited and finding an external cross rental. The picture below was taken a few days after the wedding, so they are a bit wilted, but the color is accurate. I'm avoiding using our photographer's photos since editing has been applied to those. As you can see, definitely not burgundy...

At no time did I feel that those riding the bull were in harms way. We had 5 year old to 75 year olds all enjoying the experience. All the guest had something they will remember. I have never experienced anything like this with a bouncy rental company. This was an almost $1,000…read morerental. One of the really big slides. My party started at 12:30 pm and they were supposed to show up at 10:30 am. They didn't get there until 1:30 and the bouncy was not ready until 2:30. My party was over at 4 pm. They "let us keep it overnight" due to the delay at no additional cost but the party was over at 4. Keeping it didn't help with the party done at 4 pm. Then they were to pick it up the next day between 4-5 pm. They never showed, and we didn't get notified until 7 pm that they couldn't get it until the following day, Monday. I told them it's only ok to pick up the next day if they could pick it up before noon as we can't use our driveway with this massive deflated bouncy there. They agreed. Now, it's Monday, no notification and it's 1:30 pm. It's not been picked up. I had to call them, and they said they should be here between 4-5 pm! Total disregard for leaving their stuff at our house. They would hold us to a timeframe with their contract but somehow it doesn't apply to them. So, needless to say, their bouncy is still at our house. If you want to trust your bouncy will be delivered on time for your event and picked up when expected I would go with another company. I will mention they are reportedly (waiting for reimbursement) only going to charge me half the price since I only had it half my party and a $250 voucher for a future rental. I won't be using them again, even with this voucher. I should have gotten a full refund with this catastrophe.
