I was able to view the decor in person beforehand, and Thea's experience and creative input made such a difference throughout the planning process. Prestige Events is always adding to their inventory too! The day I looked at the decor, they had just gotten some red lanterns in that we had to include in our wedding! I had a fairly large wedding with nearly 400 guests, and Thea worked closely with me to completely redesign the layout for the decor and tables to fit the venue beautifully. I also had a last-minute request for additional florals, and Chi Lien made it happen seamlessly. The florals turned out stunning, honestly even more beautiful than the inspiration photos we provided! She also gave me a spray bottle to ensure the florals were fresh and hydrated for the wedding day! Our reception was held at Kim Son, and Prestige Events completely transformed the ballroom. From the hallway to the ballroom, every detail was jaw-dropping. We received countless compliments on the decor, but I truly think the photos speak for themselves. They went above and beyond, sourcing custom compote holders and even fabricating rattan candle holders to perfectly complement the aesthetic we were going for. Every detail was so intentional, so thoughtful, and so beautifully executed. In addition to the breathtaking florals and draping, we also rented our cake table, plate chargers, and tall cocktail hour outdoor furniture through them, which tied everything together so elegantly. We thought it worked perfectly! They also suggested that we use the platinum linen on the table where we placed our pictures so that they would be the star rather than a red or brighter color. And the champagne charger fit perfectly pulling in the gold tones of the candle holders. It was a delight to work with all of the staff and all went smoothly. We thought the pricing was reasonable. She was very informative and extremely nice ....with that being said shes extremely gossipy about other clients . Wedding date was set for March 2020 and we've made payments every month until recently sometimes even given more a month. Fiance called her telling her that we needed to move the date. Unfortunately due to circumstances that were beyond our control it had to be moved. She had no problem with it we even told her that we wanted to look at venues in California since we now had more time . She said she would get back with the proposals the following week. I reached out to her in hopes to lower our monthly payments Only temporarily since i had given more money in the past. No response ...2 weeks later we get an invoice for the full amount. I reached out via text asking her to please call us. I received a text no phone call (very professional) . I would assume paying close to 700 a month a phone call can be made. Fiance calls her an explains current situation to what he receives a nasty response ....giving attitude and blowing him off ...her response "i see what i can do" ! Mind you our wedding is still 17 months out now and we are ahead of schedule on payments. Working in customer service your client comes first! We waited friday for her to see what we can agree upon ....friday past... Saturday past.... Sunday past ....Monday Past .... Tuesday midday i received another Automatic reminder stating if i dont pay by today the money given will be forfeited and contract cancelled.. funny how she has yet reached out ...fiance emailed again asking her why she hadnt reached out and that we just wanted our money back. Emails were sent back and forth with her continuing to be ugly (for no reason). Long story short we are taking her to court ! I have the time and i truly believe evil greedy people like that will eventually get their time. Also please know the only thing she did was book appointment 2 separate times for venue viewings and reaching out to get a contract and that was it ! And she wants to keep over 6,000 not even getting back to us on the venues we requested info. On...noone should ever go through what I'm currently going through. The added stresses she has caused me is unreal. The lack of communication ... the lack of sympathy ....truly unprofessional. Brides please be careful !!!

It's a beautiful historic building located in the Heights, and it's a quirky space, with the old truck bays downstairs and a more conventional event space upstairs. The Good: Lovely historic building. Decent parking. Central location. The Bad: Difficult Management. Management is available only on Saturdays from 9-10am. No other times - if you need to measure, plan, or tour the venue, that's when you've got to be there. No rehearsal times are possible, unless you rent the venue again. Management seemed put off after our second visit - we wouldn't have had to come back if their hours were not so brief! Questionable Business Practices. We meticulously cleaned the venue after our event, yet $60 was withheld from our deposit, without explanation. After calling them, the excuse we were given was that there was "water on the floor, probably from someone dragging a garbage can." That costs $60 to fix? All in all, it's a pretty place and inexpensive, but the fact that the lady running the operation is so difficult to work with makes it impossible to recommend the venue.
