Very clean froyo place that's pretty typical of any other froyo place. They have pomegranate seeds as a topping which is interesting though. Yikes, another froyo store in Allston. It's on a busy Harvard St right across from PC cafe. They have 8 machines and 16 flavors which is a plus. Their customer service is fine and they have a few tables for seating. However, that doesn't make up for their flavor and quality. They are hands down one of the WORST frozen yogurt I have ever tasted and I have been to a bunch all over the country such as Yogurtland, Menchies, Golden Spoon, 16 Handles etc. or locals such as Berryline, Mixx, Berryfreeze etc. The tart has a horrible aftertaste right from the beginning. The taro is lacking sweetness and that "ah" feeling. The green tea had no flavor at all. Strawberry flavor looked brown and tasted like artificial candy. No point of trying all the others if you can't even get tart or strawberry right. They have those annoying dispensers that drop out the dry toppings into your cup. It never seems to dispense out the amount you want and I wonder the freshness since it is stored in bulk through the clear container. The other dry toppings were in a bulk container with scoops like a candy store. The other topping area is unimpressive, lacking exotic toppings or variety. Their mochi is the same as Mixx but not similar to Berryline. (no clue about the review by Michelle T whose review seemed ridiculously over the top and so biased). Their price is the same as Zinga which is 49 cent/oz, way more expensive than the local chains such as Mixx at 42 cents/oz. or Berryfreeze at 45 cents/oz. Seems like a few pennies in difference but it adds up quick. I paid $5 for half a cup and one topping. Definitely pricey... Overall, I would rather go to Mixx for self serve since they always have fresh fruit, more toppings and exotic flavors. Or Berryfreeze whose coconut flavor is awesome and smoothies are great. If i'm not in the area, my go to place is Berryline whose tart is very good and they have innovative flavors as well. i'd rather go to another universe than step foot in Froyoworld again. read more

I live near by and have seen the "opening soon" signs on Froyo World for a while now. I love frozen yogurt and ice cream so I decided to stop by today and try some. First off, the customer service is very good. I was greeted as soon as I entered and offered a bunch of free samples so I could try the different types of yogurt. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. I was pleased to see that the nutritional information was displayed above each flavor of yogurt which is helpful for those of us trying to count calories. Most of the yogurt was pretty low cal and low fat (or non fat), but it is the best "healthy" yogurt I've ever tasted. I tried samples of the pumpkin pie and green tea, both of which were delicious. They also had a non-dairy kind which is awesome since my sister is lactose intolerant and I know she would love this place. I was also really impressed by the range of flavors and all the different toppings, they had all my favorites plus some I wouldn't have even thought of. I topped off my yogurt with mochi, strawberry boba, chocolate chips, gummy bears and strawberries. I will definitely be going back here again. read more

I like this place alot. Their flavors change every week, they have a good variety of toppings and the location is sort of convenient. The service is nice, when you need to taste some flavors they are right there with you. The staff is very kind. The place looks cute considering it's a froyo place. They give you a froyo card which you can swipe. Depending on how much your froyo cost, that swipe card will take a value dollar off your next purchase or froyo. I recently discovered this leave on Yelp while looking for a new place to try. This place is a decent destination but the be prepared to struggle a little with parking. It is in the heart of Brighton and you pretty much have to be lucky to find somewhere to park. As for the yogurt itself, they had many different selections, some which I haven't seen before, and they we really good. However, once I got to the toppings that'd where it went a little down hill. For a location centered in the heart of Brighton, one would think that they would have a high turnover of their toppings but it tasted like they might let their stuff sit a little too long. All in all, if you can get over the parking situation and and your candy toppings for sitting out more than a day, then you will certainly enjoy this place. I would recommend. read more

Froyo World has a bright, clean interior. Some of the yogurt flavors are a little watery, but I've experienced this problem at a couple different frozen yogurt shops. Great froyo place in Allston. I'm a froyo fanatic and this place definitely is on par. Doesn't have that sugary left over feeling in your mouth and just refreshing. Of course it has all the basics of a great froyo place with multiple different flavors and toppings. Also has nice added details that lots of places overlook. In MY experience, with plenty of other better froyo cafes, this one doesn't meet the standard. What sets Froyo World apart is their variety. They generally offer at least 10 different flavors of yogurt and you have the choice between 2 different flavors or a mixture of both per machine. The toppings always taste fresh and again the variety is excellent. The place cranks loud music throughout the night which is inviting even during those late hours.
