I mean it appeared that Shrek was using too big of a wrench or socket, probably lost his 17mm and thought an 18mm would work! Wrong! I was told that I needed to go and buy a new plug before next oil change and have them install it! Wait! What? You stripped it and now I have to fix your lack of training? SMDH. However, when I visited the Sooner location today, I requested my usual economy oil change, and the employee at the counter informed me that he could not apply the military discount because I wasn't purchasing full synthetic oil. When I mentioned I had a $20 off coupon from Take 5's email/text promotions, he stepped away to speak with another worker and returned saying he could, in fact, apply the 25% military discount after all. That discount only amounted to about $13 off the economy service. I thought it was a snake move to all of a sudden apply my $13 discount over the $20 I had when they just told me they couldn't do so because of not purchasing higher priced oil. While servicing my car, the worker pulled out my air filter and -- despite it being windy -- brushed it off with his fingers right next to my driver's side window, blowing dust directly into my car and into my face. That was careless and frustrating. What's even more disappointing is that Take 5 prominently advertises with a huge yellow banner a 25% discount for veterans and active-duty military, yet only discloses once you're already in line that it "only applies to full synthetic oil." That feels misleading and dishonest. Now for the crappiest thing that happened. After going there, my car is making a loud rattling noise that it's never made before. I think they really jacked something up and I completely regret going here. DO NOT GO HERE!! Overall, this location took longer than usual, the staff wasn't particularly friendly, and the experience left me frustrated. I do not recommend this Take 5 location. If you want better service and honesty, go to Express Oil Change on 19th St. in Moore -- they're efficient, professional, and provide complimentary checks on lights, blinkers, and other essentials unlike this Take 5 location.

I come to take the oil filter off and everyone knows you lube the rubber seal so it will come off easy next time you change it. It also only needs to be hand tight. I literally had to poke a hole in the filter just to get leverage to turn thr damn thing. Comes to show, this company had used the filter wrench to tighten too tight. Trusted him (shouldn't have) and had my car repaired at a price of $260. Of course had to pay for labor. That's not the issue. Issue is they went to auto zone and got the part for $40 and came back, charged me $126 for it. (I'm sure that's where they went. Guy told me they didn't have the part there and they needed to go get the part). This part you can get anywhere for 40, 50, or even $60 depending on which one you choose to buy. Just didn't appreciate the dishonesty when I asked him if I could buy it cheaper myself and he told me no. He was very much a hustler and was only in it for the money.
