That said, it was still a solid sandwich, and I appreciate that they're keeping this classic alive. Instead of fries, I switched to a Caesar salad, and that turned out to be the right move it was fresh, crisp, and hit the spot. Mom got the breakfast she was craving, so everybody left happy. The prices are fair, the building has plenty of character, and we snagged a comfortable booth with a view of Main Street. It doesn't get much more Baker City than sitting there watching the town go by. This place isn't trying to be a fancy dining experience, and that's exactly why it works.
