All the folks behind the counter were happy & polite, which is always nice. My only complaint is they are cash only & you dont find out until its time to pay. Its not on the website or the menu. Theres a tiny little sign tucked away thats easily missed on the wall. Theres an ATM in the casino so you can get money.

We did a Google search for a place in Baker City that was kid friendly. And eagle Cap grill is one of the options that came up. This is definitely a local establishment. If you're looking for an option that isn't a chain restaurant. We had a good time at the eagle Cap grill. However, I wouldn't say it's exactly kid friendly. Don't get me wrong, everybody was super sweet with our kids, but there aren't any extra accommodations for small children, if that makes sense. Like some breweries have outdoor play areas, or there's room to run around, or they have like kids menus with crayons, etc. The food that we got at eagle Cap grill was good, although I wouldn't say that it was great. It was about what I would expect from a traditional American diner. Also, the layout of the interior of the restaurant is very cramped. I appreciate that they were full, and good for them by the way, but I was basically eating dinner with the table next to me while I was eating dinner with my family. They're also wasn't any room to move around inside the restaurant. So there was one point where my wife got up to take one of my daughters to the bathroom, and it ended up being an awkward maneuver to do so. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly. Absolutely no complaints there. Honestly, the biggest thing that brings this down to a four-star review, was the price. Look, I understand times are hard, I understand restaurant margins are super slim, however, I spent over $50 for two entrees. We didn't get any food for my kids, don't worry they ate from my wife's and my meals, and it still cost over $50. And that was before tip. So again, I'm willing to pay a little bit extra to eat at a local establishment, I'm willing to pay a little bit extra for food that isn't mass produced, but it can't be twice as expensive, can it?
