If you want to be a day late to and from your destination, then fly with Frontier. No only was the flight the same cost as other airlines but they charge for every thing you do. No beverages are included. They charged me $4 for tea... walked away and never brought the hot water for my tea. Super delays, over 5+ waiting for my flight behind schedule and they charge $65 for one carry on bag. we also pull up to the gate late and they have no gate for us to pull up to so we just sit there AGAIN. Honestly the worst flying experience I've ever had. My flight was scheduled to leave at 2 pm EST and was delayed until 6:45. Then the pilot makes a surprise announcement that we will be landing in Miami. Mind you I have a straight through flight from Punta Cana to St.Louis. We land in Miami and they force us to go through customs because allegedly "the st.Louis one will be closed by the time we get there." This airline will just lie and lie and lie to you while your flight is delayed longer and longer. Delays are literally whole days long. You will abandon your flight and book anything else to get to your destination: air, train, car... Vouchers, which are sometimes given when your flight becomes unusable, are themselves unusable. Customer service phone goes to a travel agency in India that charges $100 of whatever refund they agree to give you. If you use Frontier, when you inevitably have to request a refund, try their WhatsApp. It's unbelievable that the FAA continues to license this airline. read more

Worse experience flying with frontier, first plane was missed because the closed the gates and we were 15min early, then the employee said they were calling out names which they never did in a small airport on Burbank Ca. They then told us if we wanted to fly the same day, we had to go to another airport which flight was leaving on four hours, my wife and I left. Made air flight on time, we had lay over in Vegas which was okay but then we got back and our flight got delayed 3 times and left 2hrs late. Now fast forward we in Miami rushing to get here on time, and it gets delayed another hr so far, and we're still waiting. Let's see how delayed y'all can get. Frontier charged me $360 to check bags that that any other airline would charge $0. I took a frontier flight and was charged $180 for two bags. Ouch. BUT THEN instead of sending my bags to my connection with the next Frontier flight, they made me pick them up at baggage claim, and go through the entire process of getting a boarding pass, PAY $180 AGAIN, then go back through security!!! OH and they damaged my bag, strap ripped right off. It cost me more to get my bags to the destination than my person. This is of course a scheme to lure people in with a cheap ticket upfront only to punish them with brutal bag check policy when it's too late to change tickets. Good job! You got my money this time. July 13,2021 at approximately 0700 I was supposed to be on my flight ( F9-2878) heading to LGA Airport. The plane ended up having a hydraulic leak which not only kept us on the plane for an hour,but also had a delay.I rebooked a last minute flight with another airline and called Frontier customer service to get a refund being that the flight was delayed 2hrs and 30 thus far, they told me I couldn't get a refund, mind you I was on hold for exactly 1hr 15 I will never fly with Frontier again I will be emailing cooperate in regards. The desk to check in and drop your bag at the Miami airport is pretty bare bones. It can move slow too. They should put in kiosks to let you choose your seats and check in, like other airlines do. Flying out of Fort Lauderdale in the late afternoon they push back the departure time several times during the day and then late in the afternoon sent a text moving the departure significantly AHEAD of the original departure. Went to San Juan Puerto Rico on Frontier. Return trip is hard to take. Originally scheduled departure today was 9:07 am. We finally left at a little after 2pm. Frontier has been the biggest nightmare of an airline that I've ever experienced. After getting off our amazing cruise at Port Everglades, we made our way over to the Miami airport to catch our 2:05 flight. Shortly after arriving we received an email notification that our flight was delayed for 6:05. This still gave us enough time to make our connection in Denver, but then a few hours later the flight got delayed for another hour, and then ended up leaving at 8:15. The desk agent advised us that they would have the plane wait and we were again reassured by the flight attendant that the Denver flight will indeed wait. That was a lie. When we got to Denver, none of the agents were apologetic and had no clue what to do with all 20 of us that were expecting to get to Salt Lake City. It's been over an hour since we've landed, and they are still trying to figure out what flights to rebook us on and which shitty motel to put us in. No meal vouchers were provided in Miami despite the huge delay, and we are only going to be offered breakfast. What a joke! Middle finger to you Frontier! read more

But let me say that that's the cheapest I've payed for a flight and their prices are amazing supper affordable way to fly . I had seen things about their flights getting delayed but on mike everything was on time . The plane itself seemed very modern it just didn't have tvs but it was very spaced out and had lots of leg room . The flight attendants were very nice . Cabin Attendantss, on our flights, were minimally helpful but great at visiting amongst themselves. Worse, when we arrived at ATL from Dominican Republic ; stranded on tarmac for a hour!!! God knows if I could give NEGATIVE stars for this airline I would! This company is by far the most unreliable plane company our family has ever encountered (and after reading reviews it seems I am not the only person who feels this way). We flew to NY on Delta Airline last Friday and had an AMAZING experience. Today, we chose to fly home on Frontier Airlines from New York to Miami Florida (only because the offered the latest flight from NY to MIA). Our 10:50PM flight got cancelled this evening (which I can understand considering the unexpected weather and recent government shutdowns we have experienced as a country). What was upsetting was that as we engaged with Customer Service at Frontier Airlines' ticketing area at Laguardia Airport, we were told that we would not be able to get another flight until WEDNESDAY EVENING!!!! In an attempt to get my family back home sooner (we were traveling with an 11 and 13 year old) we were told that we could book a flight with another airline and be reimbursed $400/person. We were willing to go ahead and take a flight tomorrow, but we wanted to at least get a hotel for the night since it was 10:45PM when they FINALLY told us our flight was actually cancelled and we were traveling with our children. When we asked whether we would be reimbursed for a hotel, and travel to and from the hotel (we are in NYC and have limited transport options) we were were told NO. We would NOT going to be reimbursed for any costs we would incur as an inconvenience for Frontier Airlines incompetencies EXCEPT for the flight costs. We stood at the counter for over an hour and a half trying to have this issue resolved...We spoke with the lead (Claudia) and encountered an unpleasant and rude attitude from Mr. Andre...nevertheless, we were told that we would not be reimbursed for a hotel for the night... So we did the best we could to find an early flight the following morning so we could get our kids home. The earliest flight we could find was on American Airlines at 7:50am the following day...Not THREE MINUTES after we booked the flight home, we were told by the Lead that Frontier Airlines would NOW be reimbursing patrons for hotel and soon after received emails from Frontier that they would provide us with food vouchers. So after spending over $1000 on FOUR new tickets and having to spend the night at the airport with our children, Frontier Airlines decided they would begin reimbursing patrons. When we asked Claudia (the lead) how this could be possible, she quickly blamed headquarters in Orlando and Miami for not reviewing the patron manifest before telling us they would not reimburse us earlier on. This is unacceptable and it will definitely be the last time we ever fly on Frontier. I will be following up on this matter and I will be sharing our HORRIBLE experience with everyone who will listen. This is unacceptable and if this company can afford to run an airline company, they should have the decency to have a coherent and competent customer service department to deal with issues like this. read more

This is the worst airline I have ever flown. The NEO aircraft is packed so tight that my knees literally touch the seat in front of me. They don't even have setback trays as we are used to, the trays are 4 inches deep, that is all the room you get. They packed the 240 passengers into a gate with 60 seats. When I went to pick up my ticket in the morning, they tried to get me to pay $25 for a paper ticket before they would check my bag, or use their absolutely ass mobile app. If you think it worth saving the money to fly Frontier, rethink that right now, and just bite the bullet.
