    The slogan may have changed but the flight attendants on each flight were great, except for 1 FA on each flight maybe it's a requirement to have a butter one in the crew. The mix of new tech planes and old tech was interesting with 1 having a touchscreen infotainment system and the other an arm controlled DirectTv system but they both work to pass the time. Don't be afraid to fly the friendly skies.

    The process to check in bags was extremely easy and fast. You are able to do it your self and there are actual humans willing to check your bag for you. On top of the positive airport experience, the flight attendants are extremely nice!! (Unlike some of these other cheap flight attendants) Snack and beverages available for domestic flights! Free movies offered on the app for the flight.

    A bit of chaos around me when checking in at the kiosk. The travelers around me had difficulty with using them and required staff to help them. It was early morning and the United staff was not friendly or seemed happy to be there. The tone of their voice was almost anger. Not the way I want to start my flight for the day, oh well. The saving grace was the kiosk telling me I received a free seat upgrade. Staff at the gate were a bit better but still not the friendliest.

My wife and I were seated in "Main Classic" on mid-day, non-stop flights both ways. Roundtrip, the total cost was $388.96. We applied eCredits for the full amount. The Sky Club in Miami is nice. It reopened in April 2024. The food and drink that I had was great (e.g., mojo pork, black beans and rice, quinoa wrap, chocolate chip cookies, Bloody Mary cocktails). The Sky Club is located in the H-J Connector in the South Terminal. Delta mainly operates out of Concourse H at MIA.

I flew from Miami to London and both ways the flight went pretty fast. That is a positive for me. We had two meals each way. The food was pretty good going to London and not so at all on the way back. As always, some of the flight crew is better than others. I knocked off one star and really it should probably be 2 because of a strange incident flying to London. Without talking your ear off, a passenger in front of us would not "allow" me or others to walk in front of her row to go to the other side of the plane. She actually ended up sitting in the VERY wide walkway in front of her. She yelled at each person somewhat loud. Long story short, the crew let a woman who had no business making the rules dictate to half a plane of people. Not only was it rude and bizarre, but it could be potentially dangerous. I don't understand how the crew could allow this and then tell me my purse needs to be on the floor for safety! I said something to a flight attendant and she told me the woman had the right to do this. She paid extra foe the emergency row. I did not even respond because....well...I did not want things to escalate. I contacted Virgin through the survey after the flight that was sent to my e-mail. They gave me 8,000 miles but really my hope is that passengers are not making the rules. I highly doubt any of the airlines I normally fly with would have allowed this.

This delay caused a domino effect of things that we had to miss and had already paid for in Europe because arriving a day late. This occurred over the Christmas holiday and it was impossible to reschedule anything last minute. We missed our train because of the flight getting in late and there were no more trains available for a few days to get to our final destination, so we had to book a flight with a different airline from London to Zürich or risk missing additional bookings that we already had scheduled. We ended up having to spend an additional $2000 because of this delay and Virgin is not taking any responsibility for it and pretty much brushing us off. I will never fly with them again and I recommend no one does either. They do not take ownership for their failures and do not care about their customers.

You didn't "see it in your system" so you "couldn't do anything" and charged me another $90! How is that on me when you're company agrees to work with Priceline? As I said it could have been your company's fault for not having the info. You're not above making mistakes or having glitches "in your system" and you should be able to waive fees if proof is shown that it was already paid for, especially if you're a manager. Otherwise what good is a manager? Also, don't argue with a customer and blame them for things out of their control like being unable to check in online or having slow internet in the airport. And don't glare at someone and tell them you can't help them right now when it's a quick, easy request and the person you're talking to says they don't mind if you do it. Not impressed with the MIA staff on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 1pm. Once on the flight, which was on time, I remembered Frontier doesn't provide entertainment so I was alone with my thoughts for three long hours. I mean, they are the ones who unleashed the hell of nickel and diming for air travel (I mean charging for a checked bag??). They take Randian economics to its most extreme, with different prices between their mobile app and the webpage. Oh and of course, it was hard to make payment thru the mobile app so I ended up being stuck with the higher fee! Their app and website are chock full of annoying advertising to buy extra features that for the longest was basic to what is air travel. But especially in these times, when there's must-take business travel, you have to come through for your clients! After my usual airline canceled my puddle jumper (west coast of Florida) business trip at the end of the day, my company and I had to scramble and thus found Spirit. The terminal itself was fairly clean, and my low rating doesn't speak to the personnel. The gate agents, flight attendants and pilots were courteous and professional (I got there and back in one piece :) Heading there on an early morning flight, I was able to get essentially first class with a seat in the second row. Although my seat was really comfortable, the seat in front looked a little ragged with part of the "bones" of the seat showing. My return flight I had a mid cabin (though still window) seat on a mostly empty flight. These seats were firmer and slightly less comfortable. Oh and they didn't recline. The planes did seem a little noisier than the one I took on American last such trip. I did join the $9 Fare Club if for the understanding of getting what I pay for. Still, just 3 stars for unleashing the virus of a la carte flying :)

What I don't accept is a business model that appears designed to trap customers into accidental purchases and then stonewall them when they immediately try to fix an obvious mistake. On January 26, 2026, I went to Spirit's website to buy a seat and a checked bag. I believed I was purchasing a $69.95 Savers Club seat option. Instead, Spirit quietly charged me for: A seat ($47) A checked bag ($69) A Spirit Savers Club membership ($69.95) This was clearly an error, identified within minutes of purchase. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I immediately called Spirit: First call: 17 minutes and 39 seconds on hold, then disconnected. Second call: 18 more minutes, only to be told the agent couldn't help and transferred me again. When I finally reached a representative, I was told I was ineligible for a refund because I had supposedly "used" the Savers Club membership... on the same transaction in which it was mistakenly purchased. Let that sink in. I calmly proposed the most reasonable solution imaginable: Refund the seat, bag, and membership, remove them from my reservation, and I'll immediately repurchase the seat and bag at full price. Spirit refused. Repeatedly. Instead, they tried to push bonus miles and a small credit--completely useless to me, since my employer pays for my travel and does not reimburse memberships. I explained this clearly. More than once. It didn't matter. For over eight minutes, the agent refused to help while I remained polite and cooperative. At one point, I informed them I was recording the call. The behavior didn't improve. This wasn't about policy. This wasn't about fairness. This was about extracting $69.95 from a customer who caught a mistake immediately and tried to resolve it in good faith. Spirit Airlines has mastered the art of hiding behind "policy" to justify behavior that would never fly (pun intended) at a customer-centric company. The experience left me with the clear impression that confusion isn't a bug in their system -- it's a feature. If you value transparency, basic fairness, or customer service that treats you like a human being instead of a revenue opportunity, think very carefully before booking with Spirit Airlines. I certainly will.

Honestly, I was just happy to be on the ground. The seats were horribly uncomfortable. I would never pick the same ones again. The middle seats were roomier. I found a way to sleep anyway. The flight out of Miami at 7:00 pm was best because within an hour, they fed us dinner and then I rested. The food is not the best. The ravioli was just okay. I had the meat on the way back and it was somewhat better. I would bring some fresh fruit or some snacks next time. The wine that they provide is very good. I was happy to have a glass of red wine before calling it a night. The return trip seemed so much longer because we were flying for 11 hours in the middle of the day. The flight attendants did their best to take care of us with beverages and snacks. A few movies later and we were on the ground. My only real complaint is that they know it's a long flight. Why not upgrade the seats to have more cushioning. I've been on busses with seats that are more comfortable than the one I sat in.

My toddler was freaking out on a very early flight back home. He was tired and couldn't get comfortable so he was crying. She picked him up an rocked him to sleep for me, wow, talk about 5 star service. As a parent, we know how stressful it can be to fly with young kids. The flight going to Florida he was amazing but the flight back, it was too early and he was cranky. Thank you to this flight attendant for saving the day.
