My wife and I tried to visit recently for an early afternoon drink. The bar's website is "Under…read moreConstruction" and has no information about hours. But on all the social media sites I checked, including Yelp, opening time was referenced as 12 noon. When we arrived at 12 the door was locked. We walked around for a while, returning 10 minutes later. This time the owner opened the door and told us to come back at 1. When my wife explained that various sites indicate the opening time at 12 he seemed surprised, but not especially concerned nor apologetic, and simply repeated that we should come back at 1. I was about to mention to him that since we live about 20 minutes away and that traveling back and forth would be impractical, as would be walking around for 50 minutes, perhaps we could be permitted to visit somewhat earlier. But by then, the door was closed. It's a shame. The bar has so many glowing reviews and it looks like a cool place. Too bad we'll never see the inside.

AMAZING experience at Bourbon & Brews!…read more If you're looking for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or special occasion for friends and family 21+, Bourbon & Brews is definitely the place to go! I had a birthday party with around 45 people, and everything was fantastic! The space was comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our group. The party package included a great virarity of food to pick from. I have different friends with different food preferences so the wide options to pick from really helped me plan a party for everyone to enjoy The bartenders who worked my party, John and Mel were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made GREAT drinks. There were plenty of tables and seating options, plus chairs at the bar, which gave everyone plenty of room to relax, mingle, and socialize. The BNB also provides card games and a dart board inside which makes the atmosphere lively and fun. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Thank you, Bourbon & Brews, for helping make my birthday celebration so memorable! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone planning a birthday, party, celebration or even just going inside for a drink or two. I can't wait to come back!

It's possible I'll be a somewhat regular attendee here since my friend has been hired to host karaoke here on Saturday nights, go to Brian's Karaoke on Saturday nights if you're reading this. The bartender was nice, the people in the bar were pretty friendly, it is a nice little hang out spot. I saddled up to the bar and asked if they had any non alcoholic beers, they did not. They had no orange juice, they had no cranberry juice so there went my standards of cranberry juice and seltzer, or orange juice and seltzer. Eventually I asked for red bull, no energy drinks either. I had a diet coke and later on a Shirley temple with no cherries :( So I like it here but for those of us that abstain from alcohol for whatever reason, can we have more drink choices please!

My brother accidentally found this location, and he wouldn't stop talking about it. So we decided to pay it a visit. I was happy about his persistence. When we arrived the parking was blocked off. I guess the repaved the blacktop, so we parked on the outside. The bar is off to the side of the complex with no real banner saying the name of the business. But the inside told another story. This bar changed hands a few times, but the current owner, knows what he's doing. The main floor was modern and clean. The place seemed capable of hosting football games. On one negative. All the chairs had wooden bottoms. After sitting a bit, they make you uncomfortable. I wish the would get cushions on them. The first bartender, Charlie knew my brother. He was a great guy and loved talking sports. Charlie made the place seem very welcoming. After he was getting ready to leave, Julia was starting. She too was extremely friendly. It made me feel very welcomed. Julie and the cook in the back recommended we try the wings. I felt they were steering me in the right direction, so I ordered them. The wings definitely delivered. I only wish, they gave you more blue cheese. Lastly, the burger, was ordered. I asked for a custom burger, this is a better option, if you want to decide what kind of burger you want. The French fries and the burger were A plus! I definitely appreciated the recommendations I will be back. The food iis the main attraction. Football just started, so I will definitely stop in to watch the I games.
