Pizza was nothing to write home about. Very little flavor and little to no sauce. Calzone was awful. Garlic wasn't even slightly chopped. There were full pieces of garlic and a lot of them. Beer options were limited. Luckily a glass is only $6 read more

Decent food, but I wasn't blown away. Better than your chain fast food pizza joints, but was mediocre considering the price (but also, not a whole lot around so guessing that figures into the price point). The arugula salad was underwhelming to say the least (literally arugula with dressing). The stromboli was just ok. I've had better pizza margherita more than a few times. Again, the food wasn't bad, but was pretty meh. read more

There is great pizza to be had on the Hidden Coast. Met friends at Frontager's Pizza Co. for dinner and came away a huge fan of this new Seabrook retail addition. We sampled a variety of menu items including the warm marinated olives starter, heirloom tomato salad, and veggie pizza. Perfect combination complemented by the ice cold Rogue 6 Hop IPA. Our pie, a neapolitan style beauty baked in a "classic brick oven" was sprinkled with local ingredients from the Olympic Peninsula which made it even better. Wow!! Smartly decorated restaurant interior featured reclaimed architectural items that made the dining area very interesting and attractive. Table service was excellent and did not hesitate to accommodate vegan diners at the table. Frontager's is a welcomed addition to Seabrook and Gray's Harbor. read more

This was our first time here. Very interesting decor, with a 100 year old salvaged wood bar. On our visit, it was busy and the service was a little slow. The wait staff was very friendly. We had the Warm Olive appetizer. Very tasty, served in a hot cast iron pot. Next it was Cured Spec, Pickled Peppers, and Pineapple Pizza. It was amazing! This is the second sit down restaurant, in Seabrook. Well worth the drive. read more

If we're just talking about the food...WOW! We all loved the pizza! It was so good! We almost drove back the next day from a nearby town just to have it again before leaving the area. The gluten free crust is the best I've ever had in 8 years and just knocked out my previous really great favorite. I'm torn between giving this place a slightly lower review for the slow service we experienced on a Wednesday at 1 pm when it was busy but didn't seem soo busy to warrant our experience. But will keep it about the food! Because when you stop to think that there was one-two waitresses for inside and just one outside, during summer, in a community with few restaurants and many tourists I guess it's easy to see why it took about an hour or more to get our food and a coffee. I'm sure it was just an off day for them and the staff was extremely patient and kind despite the rush. We plan to be back! read more

Frontager's Pizza - Prosciutto pizza, added goat cheese. Bomb! - Pizza Near Me - Pacific Beach, Washington

I don't like doing this but I gotta... We came in for dinner during the end of the busy dinner rush but we're lucky enough to get seated almost immediately. The greeting from the hostess(?) wasn't that friendly but they were busy so I cut her a break. Our server was Johnny. We ordered 4 beers, 2 pizzas and the focaccia bread as an appetizer. We got our beer, eventually got our pizza and we were told "the bread will be out in a minute"... it never came. Our server disappeared and none of the other staff came by to check on us or refill drinks (including our empty water growler); the hostess spent her time complaining to another employee about a customer that had just calledOur server finally came back inside (presumably high) and we told him we never got our bread and he didn't offer any sort of apology, just an excuse of "oh yeah they were firing focaccia bread all night, so... I'll take it off the bill." Yeah. That should go without saying. One check, no offer to split the bill up between the 3 different paying parties and here our card sits on the table for almost 10 minutes now and no one has come by to collect the bill... and also no goodbye or thank you as we walked out. Great customer service, guys. I will say the pizza was good though, that's about my only positive for the evening. *shrugs* read more

Pizza was ok. Tried the buffalo chicken, the margherita, and the bacon pizzas. The pizzas were oven roasted. Craft beers. There were outside tables where you could bring a dog. Nice rustic decor, comfortable. Server was friendly helpful & nice. But...pizza was a bit salty. The photo shows how our 3 pizzas were delivered. Notice one is missing a piece...apparently it was lost on the floor? They offered to make a new one...but we were just a little surprised by it and accepted the one piece less. Although I don't think it should have been served this way...instead there should have been a slight price adjustment...this was not offered. read more

Pizza had great flavor but crust needed longer to cook. It was floppy and chewy. They have a wood fire oven but weren't using it that day for some reason. It was also pretty expensive. A 12" all meat pizza is $24.50. 2 pizzas and 2 sodas came out to $67. read more

Great pizza! I'm not a fan of red sauce so substituted the Quattro Formaggio with there cream sauce and it's was super decadent! My wife got the chicken pesto Stromboli and it came with the most amazing sauce. Very unexpected to find a pizza of this quality in the middle of the forest! read more

Truly outstanding food. Excellent pizzas and stromboli. Really disappointed with the beer. I'm from Camas, and Mill City brewing is not a choice I'd ever make. Brothers Cascadia beer would pair so nicely instead. 5/5 food 2/5 beer read more

Terrible experience at this pizza place. We stopped in for a quick bite with family and ordered one pizza and a kids pizza. It was Saturday, a little busy, so they said it would take 20 minutes. It seemed a little long but reasonable none the less. AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES later we finally got our pizza (after checking several times to see wtf was going on). AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER they just set it down at our table and walked away. No apologies, no customer service, no refund for taking over three times too long. We had two young children to entertain the entire time and they were very grumpy long before food arrived. What should have taken 30 minutes to eat a quick bite took an hour and a half. One hour and fifteen minutes to wait for pizza... fifteen to eat the pizza! Unacceptable! Oh and my husband got dirty looks from personnel and they seemed so inconvenienced when he asked for freaking ice in his water. Iced water. It's a thing. That most people drink. Really Frontagers?! You are awful. Never again. read more

Our experience was like a comedy of errors... We waited 30 min to be seated for dinner around 7:00 PM on Tuesday (in July) and during that time we overheard a woman with dark brown hair behind the bar say to another worker (who is also a paramedic) say, "Talk to me using complete sentences!" in a condescending tone. We couldn't believe our ears but the nice worker guy just took the high road and politely replied that he was trying to do that, and wasn't finished talking yet (when she interrupted him). Shortly afterward we we're seated at the same time as another family and right next to each other. No one came to take our order. When the family beside us, who was seated at the same time as us, was SERVED the pizzas they ordered, we asked if anyone was even going to TAKE our order! After a moment of staff conversing to figure it out, someone came and took our order. Additionally, we asked for another cup for water, as we were one short. This never came until I asked AGAIN the next time we saw our waitress which happened to be when she asked if we were ready for our bill. She seemed very surprised by my request and asked what I meant; I explained no one ever brought us a water glass for everyone and we were still waiting for it. She didn't offer to refill any of the other 4 empty waters. Also, a few paper napkins fell to floor while the waiter was taking our order and she picked them up (off the floor) and asked if we wanted them. In a dumbfounded haze I replied, "Um, no, but we would like NEW ones please." No new napkins were ever brought. After our pizzas were served I can't remember anyone coming back to check on us - and all of our water glasses were empty including the carafe of water on the table. Our kids wouldn't eat the cheese pizza on the kids menu because they said it tasted burned. My husband didn't even like our pizza much! When we ordered the ice cream flavor of the day we were told they were out - which was just a comical ending to the meal at that point. This experience may have been a fluke, but I'm not planning to go back. read more

Very tasty pizza, although, it is very expensive. A pizza is only 12" and will only be enough for one adult. So you're looking at about $20 each minimum. I got a Margherita pizza with prosciutto and after tax and a four dollar tip, it came to $26.80. I recommend coming here, for sure, even if it's just to try once. read more

We sat outside on a nice sunny day and basically felt they forgot about us. We waited 40 minutes for a cheese bread appetizer and meatballs which was brought by another server. Our first server never came back to check up on us after getting our food-which the meatballs and sauce was really cold. There's no excuse to that since we waited wayyyy too long for three meatballs. No one else came to check up on us or refill our water. I would've been a little understanding if they were super busy but they were not. Then our first server just came to drop the bill and said "when you're ready." There was no "how was your food?" Or "would you like a to go box?" So disappointed and won't be back. read more

No red wine on the menu so had to take away a star. We really really like this place-the people working there and the food. They had a management shake up over the summer, and we could feel a tense vibe for a bit. However this may have been because the summer is so busy but the staff pull it off every-time. We in last night to a new menu with several new pizzas-they continually keep it interesting. However we can not understand a menu with 2 white wines and pink wine and no red! read more

Extremely poor customer service! I went in to order 2 pizzas at 5pm on a summer Saturday evening and was told that they couldn't help me, but if I went around back to their food truck, they might be able to help. Ordered for pickup around 730 on a Saturday. The order took a little longer than they estimated, over an hour (which my fault for putting an order in at rush hour) but the manger comped us a few free drinks (beer and wine) while we waited. Great customer service! The pizza was good, we got two pizza's and two stromboli's. Both were cooked well in my book. Yes, the price is a bit high, but honestly nothing is cheap in that area, and given the lack of other offerings the quality of food was high! Will return read more

This place has the most disgusting pizza I have ever eaten. The pineapple was dry and sour and the cheese was overly greasy and far too salty. The dough was soggy, tasted of rancid cheese, and the crust was coated in flour. They had very few topping and even were unable to provide the most basic of toppings such as green peppers or black olives. The staff were inept and extremely rude. I was seated and later told that my table was being saved for people on the wait list. Later, when I tried to take back my pizza, I was threatened by a male staff member and told that I couldn't until I informed them of my years of service in law enforcement. I recommend that you eat a shoe rather than tasting this. read more

Really good pizza and Stromboli. FYI tip, they don't do some of their items to go during busy season do to oven space. But if you call and order ahead during slow season, they will more than likely be able to make them for you. So plan ahead and call and you might be able to order the whole menu. It will be well worth it as the strombolis are my favorite. Our order was ready right on time and the customer service was great. read more

We eat here almost weekly when we are staying at our beach house. The pizzas are delicious! The crusts are nice and thin, but good and crispy with an appropriate amount of light char. I have to say the salads are even better. Good selection of beers. The staff is always friendly. The only reason I took a star away is that the service can be slow. The woman who does the salads is a super-efficient machine, but the guys who do the pizzas tend to be quite slow at assembling them. The staff is also somewhat confused when we sit at the counter (which we often choose to do so I can stand and eat, due to a bad back). They don't seem always clear on who should serve us. Nonetheless, we love Frontager's! read more

Been here a million times because it's the only decent pizza for miles. However you always have to be prepared to wait and wait and wait . You'll see some of the staff will be running around while others are talking to friends and not helping out. The food is good with one exception - Found a dead bug in my salad once so watch out. Bring your entertainment for kids because you will wait...either to order, to get your food, or refills or your check. And you'll have to ask for each of those repeatedly. And it's always like this -summer, winter, when they're busy and when there are a lot of open tables. Tonight they didn't seem short staffed so wondering if they need more management and training to actually provide better service. Who knows. There's no competition really so doubt much will change until that happens. read more

The crust on this pizza was probably the worst we've had. It was tough like cardboard and I've had Digiorno pizza with much better crust. Bad crust aside, they could have made up for it with toppings and sauce, but the toppings looked like a bullseye on the center of the pizza. And they didn't have a lot of them and they were not evenly dispersed. I feel bad leaving a negative review during COVID but it's best to be honest and maybe they'll look at this review and taste the crust for themselves and realize how bad it is. read more

Not sure about this area. We came back heading south, from the refuge, after a long day of beach hiking. Rolled into this community which advertises public food to get pizza. My sister said this place was really good so we decided to give this place a try. Came here for lunch today. Pizza was delish! Cozy atmosphere and within walking distance to the sandy beach. I would have given this place 5 stars, but it lacked service. I've been to Seabrook twice in the last month and loved this place both times! The first visit we felt like the hostess was pretty rude and seemed to have a problem with kids but everything after that was great. I was happy to find out that they let her and a few other problem employees go and the manager is cleaning house. The food was great. I always get the salumi and it's so good! I worried I built it up too much to my friend but when I got it with her she loved it too! The service was great and the manager even chilled my beer in a bucket of ice because they had some issues the day before with their system and it hadn't fully chilled yet (but I still wanted it so she accommodated me). We weren't able to eat there. The one and only restaurant in town and we go to order at 6:30pm and they tell us they aren't taking orders anymore. We now have a hungry family with no where close by to eat. We were looking forward to eating here. Will not recommend. read more

This is a wonderful addition to Seabrook! We came in on a busy Saturday night and the place was packed. Long 45 minute wait so we decided to place our order and take dinner home to our rental. The restaurant boasts of local ingredients on brick-oven style pizza. The menu offerings include starters, salads, stromboli, desserts and of course, pizza. We ordered the Littleneck Clams (lemon, herbs, red onions) and the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato Salad... this is one good salad (served with persimmon, balsamic and mint) - a nice twist on the Caprese. We had the Smoked bacon, prosciutto, sausage and mozzarella pizza and the Cracked egg, smoked bacon, fingerling potato, mozzarella, parmesan, red onion, basil pesto pizza. Loved both! The crust was thin, crusty on the outside and chewy. Staff was great in spite of the busy, demanding crowd that evening. Will definitely be back! read more

I've heard about the poor customer service and the over priced pizza, but still I thought I knew better (I did not know better). We bounced in happily to order three pizzas to go and wanted to have a couple drinks while we waited, which shouldn't be a big deal (it was a very big deal). Once seated (at the far end of the bar) our hostess (Emily) came over and asked if we would like to pay for the food separately from the drinks. We asked for it to be all inclusive as that is what we were used to and our preference (we didn't care, but you know ....since she asked). We were confused why we were then asked to pay separately and our server (Sarah) was sent over to educate us. Sarah arrived at our table with a bit of a chip on her shoulder. We weren't expecting flowers and pretty words, but she launched into a "I'm the server and I served you drinks and you're seated at my bar. Emily is not a server (we were told that a total of three times in five minutes) and she will take care of your to-go order." Plain as day and matter of fact, without an ounce of kindness, additionally she never once introduced herself and/or apologized for our confusion (that was caused by the establishment). As it happens, because of the tipping structure we were required to pay twice - once for our drinks and then once when our food was finally delivered, regardless of our preference (that we didn't care about until they asked us). We then sat for nearly TWO HOURS (1 hr and 53 min) and watched new customers arrive, get seated, order and eat their food before our pizzas were made. As luck would have it (or not, in our case) we could actually see the kitchen crew repeatedly moving our order to the end of the line. **If you, too, like us decide you want food to go do this: have yourself seated and order food as you normally would, then when it is served have it boxed up to-go and you'll shave an easy hour off the time you spend waiting. I work customer service and have for more years than Seabrook has even been around. This whole review would have been completely different had Sarah bothered to Just Be Nice, but because of her attitude I refused to tip her for pouring a root beer and a draft beer (not a super intensive order). I refused to tip the cooks because of moving our order to the end of the line multiple times. The saving grace for this place is that the pizza is easily 3-4 stars, it's that good. Oh, and Emily. She was gracious and kind, all things hostesses-y. I would have loved to have just tipped her, she deserved it. read more
