We felt that take-out was the best choice in September 2021 because of Grays Harbor County's high Covid numbers. When picking up the pizza, I noted that none of the four employees was wearing a mask properly - under the nose or under the chin doesn't count. Come on, get your act together for all of us, including yourselves. The sausage/pesto pizza was quite good with a perfect thin crust. The Kale Caesar salad was surprisingly good. read more

This is by far my very most favorite pizza restaurant. There aren't a lot of places to eat in Seabrook yet but this one can't be beat. I thoroughly enjoyed "The Meats" on gluten free crust and my wife enjoyed the Supreme with non-dairy cheese. And she had the French press coffee which was the best. Our waitress was the new manager Tammy and she really made our night. I hope she waits on us every time we eat there. There's more restaurants coming to Seabrook but they better really perform to keep up with the service and excellence here. read more

Love the panzella salad and the seasonal roasted vegetables. The pizza is pretty good. Service is good but they get very busy expect a wait but very worth it. Kid friendly. read more

Great pizza. Expensive pizza. I loved the white base mushroom pie I had. We definitely recommend for smaller appetites and smaller families. Order and takeout was a smooth process, will try dining in next time. read more

The pizza was solid once we received it... however, Wow, wow, wow the service was absolutely horrendous!!!! Disorganized from the start and we didn't receive our pizza until 1 1/2 hours after we ordered it. I could go on and on about how awful our experience was, but I will stop here. SMDH. read more

I will give it a 4 star for food. And a zero for service. There was a similar situation with several who posted reviews. There was never acknowledgement of their poor service. From the time we entered and left for 4 of us was 2 hours and 15 minutes. Those seated after us were serviced and paid before we even got our food. They had to change our order because they "ran out of dough". Never once did they acknowledge their mistakes or poor service. We were the only ones left in the restaurant and it was still another 20 min before our Pizza got there. Mind you, we only ordered pizzas, no apps, no salad and it was still 2 hours and 15 min for 2 Pizzas. We come here often and this is typical service for this establishment so this is not a "one off". There is limited food options here at Seabrook so they sort of have a captive audience. Service this poor and rude would never fly elsewhere. Be prepared before you go in and maybe you won't be disappointed. The food is good which is what makes the poor service sad . When entering any restaurant customers should be greeted within a minute from entering the restaurant. Don't make them stand around and try to find someone to help. Then if you try to figure out for yourself and try to sit at the bar or an open table .....somehow the service is RIGHT THERE quickly to tell you that you may not seat yourself at the bar or an open table. So it's just rude and it's as if they trying to be rude. We paid $96 before tip for 2 pizzas. 1 Stromboli and 3 beers with this awful service. read more

Really amazing pizza!! Stoped in on while we were there and I couldn't be more surprised by the flavor. I would definitely stop in here when I'm back in the area. read more

Solid pizza! We saw a lot of negative costumer service complaints but we had a great experience.

Very delicious high end food loved every bite but the service was beyond terrible. My step brother had to get up and ask them for more water and they told him to not come up again and that our server will bring it to us when she has time. On top of that there were about 2 other families in the restaurant so it's not like they were busy over their heads. Would recommend for food but the service was awful. read more

Pizza was good but overall a little pricey for what you're getting. Only comes in personal pizza sizes which would have been nice to have larger size options with a large group. There was a mix-up with our order that they quickly corrected. read more

Called in a to go order. Was told 15 mins by the girl on the phone. Got there 30 mins later, waited patiently, finally was helped and was told it would be another 15 mins. (As the girl asked the cook and the cook looked at her like "you never put in that order"). So we went ahead and said we'd like to pay and then wait. She said $70.01 is your total, we handed her 80 in cash (actually planning to give the remainder of the cash for tip because we are typically generous and especially in these times were in) and she said "oh sorry, no cash". My husband and I both looked at each other and said F this, and walked out. If you're being specific about methods of payments you need to state that on the phone to every to go customer (just a piece of advice). Here's another tip, don't roll your eyes or let drama into the work place be seen by customers, they will sense the entitlement and never be back. We are one of those statistics, we won't be back again. To add to the business owner below that gave me the sarcastic remark, that just solidified why we won't be back. Many businesses are still taking cash, it's a courtesy to your customers to let them know. Your lack of professionalism shows thru your employees attitudes. read more

Thank you Frontager's for taking us in and giving us your last gluten free pizza of the night. My family and I were ravished while traveling back towards Olympia after visiting the Ho Rainforest, and this was the only place within miles that had something we could eat (and the time of night). We enjoyed the Supreme gluten free pizza and had spumoni gelato to finish. My mother-in-law who was with us lives out of state and was raving about how much she loved our experience and wants to come back and visit just to go again. Best gluten free pizza any of us have ever had- like no other! And best service I've had from an incredibly busy (and obviously popular) restaurant. We will definitely be back- thank you! read more

Charming laid back atmosphere. Had huge sports tv and large brick oven...very manly Pizza is thin crust style which is great for carb counting if ur into that. Crusty outside and surprisingly still chewy, soft on the inside. Excellent topping selections. The truffle pizza was awesome. read more

WOWZA! Fantastic wood fired pizza. Top quality ingredients, some of the best crust I've ever had. Fantastic coffee served in a press, and delicious Italian sodas. Friendly, helpful service. Priced just right. It doesn't matter where on the WA coast I'm staying, I will be back at Frontager's for pizza on every single trip. read more

As many others have stated, the food is quite good but the service is pretty awful. Food - The individual pizzas are very good but really, really small. Too pricey for the size. Stromboli and salads are great. We also got the clams which were amazing. Service - we were told a 20 minute wait when we arrived. After 40 minutes of waiting, I checked in with the hostess and was told that it didn't look like anything was opening up so we had to split our party into two. That was not a problem but it would have been nice if she asked us before we had to wait 40 minutes. Many other parties were seated while we waited. The food took quite some time to come out. The salad arrived after the clams which seems odd. Considering how many reviews mention the bad service, you would think they would have done something to improve. If you are not in a rush or go at an off time, it's probably a better experience. read more

This was the worst experience ever! I went in to pick up my order and left. I went back after I realized I didn't get the right order. Carissa accused me of ordering the wrong one so I left. Carissa called me and tried apologizing stating the order got mixed up. I went back and Carissa was so rude to me! I have never been treated so badly! I will Never go back or recommend to my family and friends!!! read more

It's the only pizza place in town so we had to try even though a lot of reviewers didn't like it. The crust was ok. The toppings were both over cooked and raw which is something I had not experienced before. The service was bad for sure. They seated us outside (and by the way no heaters) and it was about 64 degrees. My tea came in what I think was supposed to be a charmingly chipped camping cup but the flakes that came off in my drink weren't so charming. The waitress forgot about us often and we had to finally go into the restaurant and pay. It's a captive audience in this little town so I'm sure it will continue to be successful in spite of its shortcomings. read more

Love this place! The food was just so good, we had to order again the very next night! My husband thought the Calzone was the best he's ever had. We will definitely order food again next month when we return to Seabrook. read more

The pizza at fontrager's is great; the dough, sauce and toppings are unique. The dough is thin crust and very artisan, sauce is just right and not too spicy or sweet, the toppings are very PNW and mix perfectly in one of the set recipes or build your own. The takeout service is not so great, we have ordered 6 times and every time we have an issue. Wrong toppings, wrong crusts (gluten free or not), wrong pizza completely or burnt pizza. We ordered the first weekend they opened the store and only order about every 4th time we come to Seabrook. I think we are done and looking forward to other options opening soon. read more

Stayed down the road at Copalis Beach and we were so surprised to find such an amazing pizza. The crust of the pizzas were superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We ordered the roast vegetable appetizer - the asparagus made with prosciutto was divine! The wait could be long around dinner time so go early! read more

Upon entering, myself and 3 other groups were ignored by the staff and stood in the doorway without being acknowledged. Waiters walked by and avoided eye contact. There were seats open but the waitstaff clearly didn't give a single shit. We waited over an hour for food while a group that sat down after us finished an entire meal and paid before we got our pizza. Don't order the warmed olives. The pizzas were bizarre and not worth the price (even the cheese pizza which had a startling amount of bleu cheese). The two stars are only for the cleanliness and the crust. Do not come here if you want a good dining experience. We didn't feel welcomed and they didn't care we were there/wanted us there. read more

Pizza was amazing bread was amazing. Service was just terrible. So very disappointed in the service. Brought us warm water and we asked for ice and she seemed very confused that we asked we wanted ice. First off why isn't the water cold? Did not even smile or engage with us in conversation and believe me we tried. For example we twice told her how amazing the food was and she ignored us. The last time she was walking away and just said Ok. No..... how are you thank you for for coming in. Over the top appreciation for spending almost 100$ at your pizza place. Her name I believe was Christine. I do customer service and you engage with your customers. Also you don't come out and start cleaning a table with spray when my children are still sitting at the table. Like your busser did. Another bonus star to your customer service. I guess that meant get out. I was waiting for my daughter to get back from the candy store and since we were a group of 7 we could not all sit at the same table due to covid. Not at all impressed with your staff. read more

Visiting from Seattle for a short parents-only getaway. Had the arugula salad and make-you-own pizza. Delicious. Love the crust. Just the right amount of food for the two of us. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. read more

Two stars only because the food wasn't horrible. Prices are ridiculous for what you get and the service is questionable. Waited over an hour for a to go order on a Tuesday at 6:45. (Which was roughly a kids sized pizza for $21 plus tax. Cheaper prices in Seattle with more toppings.) Was told it would be an hour, but they were pounding out orders and dishing them out quick so I waited at the bar rather than drive back to our rental to wait. Started seeing people order and eat after I had put my order in, but figured maybe since I was a to go order it was lower priority? The kitchen help started taking breaks and were totally caught up as well which irked me. After an hour of sitting there they found my order ticket was actually in the garbage and threw the pizza together in about 8 minutes. In reality the pizza was given only about five to ten minutes late from estimated, but the fact that it only takes minutes to make pissed me off because I could have had it a lot earlier than the bogus estimated time and been back with my family on our last night in Seabrook. If you don't mind over priced medium pizza it eat in, or order hours ahead of time to take back to your rental. read more

Dismal service and very high prices. Their food quality is the only reason they earn a 2nd star.

My husband is allergic to wheat, so we have to order gluten-free crust when we get pizza. Frontager's not only has their own gluten-free crust, it is the most delicious we have ever had! It was so good that my husband decided he had better verify with the staff that we hadn't been served regular crust by mistake. A friendly woman came out of the kitchen and verified that it was their gluten-free crust and told us a bit about how they make it. (She also said they don't guarantee it safe enough for celiac disease or other severe gluten allergy because they can't keep a completely gluten-free kitchen.) We ordered the bacon, prosciutto, and fennel sausage pizza, and it was the best pizza ever! read more

Terrible experience. I was recently in town visiting and wanted a low key dinner at the house we rented. We realized it was a larger order, so we called it in an hour before we needed it. They gave us a specific time to come in to pick up the order. When we got there to pick it up there was a bit of confusion, but they sorted that out quickly. After paying we were then informed it was going to be a additional 20 minutes. We elected to wait in the car. We came back in after 25 minutes. They came over and said the food was still not ready. The server asked us to sit at the bar and let us know it would be just a few more minutes. After sitting at the bar for over 5 minutes, we realized they hadn't even started our order. We then sat there for an additional 30 minutes. Our food was supposed to be ready at 7:10 and we didn't leave the restaurant until a few minutes after 8:00. As we walked out carrying 8 pizzas and sauces they gave us without a bag the server stopped to say have a good night. Never offered to grab the door or anything. Just stood there and watched. I wish that was the worst of it, but the amount of health violations happening while we sat and waited were even worse. Cooks eating while prepping food, touching ready to eat food with bare hands and the hands they were just eating with, and even as bad as a cook pulling a hair out of a piece of dough and continuing to use it for a pizza. At this point we just wanted out. Steer clear... read more

Frontager's Pizza - Dog Friendly! - Pizza Near Me - Pacific Beach, Washington

This place was great and was surprised there weren't more people. Spacious, clean - the staff is young but super nice! We had the kale salad (really good!), littleneck clams starter (GET THESE - a good amount and fresh), and a pizza with cured meat and peruvian peppers - their pizzas are 12'' and 8 slices - definitely a good size for the price and very fresh. Loved this restaurant!! read more

Not thrilled with the level of service we experienced. I stood in front of a server pecking at her computer for 3 minutes. A simple acknowledgement of my presence would've been great. Instead, she attempted not to make eye contact so that she didn't have to tell me to wait. The food itself was fine, but my wife and I were bummed by the lack of staff interaction given there were not many customers at the time. read more

We are on a beach vacation in Seabrook where there are only two restaurant options. We repeatedly called Frontager's to try and order a pizza 40 minutes before closing and nobody answered the phone all four times. We decided to show up and walk in to try to place our order which was around 7:30pm, 30 minutes before closing. They refused to serve us, and blatantly told us to go somewhere else due to a "backup in orders," when there didn't seem to be many people there. Completely rude and disrespectful to customers. read more

I've eaten here two different vacations. 1st time I came I ordered a gluten free pizza (which usually are not that great) I had to ask our server if it was really gluten free because it tasted so good. The Panzenetta salad was amazing. Second visit. Pizza was a little burnt and was a little disappointed with that. My 13 year old son however, order the regular pepperoni pizza and loved it and wants to come again during our same trip. Service was great both times. read more

The pizza was great, but the time it took to get in and out for a to-go order was a little much.. I think it was just understaffed, which was not at all their fault - so still four stars! The root beer on draft was delicious! read more

This sounded like a great place to get lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. We came in with hardly anyone in the place around noon. We ordered our 2 pizzas and never received them. We finally walked out after seeing other people get their pizzas who came in after us. Apparently the waitress forgot to put our tickets in even though she said she had just checked on them and they were in the oven. They did give us our pizzas as we walked out and put them in a box. The only plus side of things I guess. read more

The pizza here is amazing! Be prepared to wait, the service is not the quickest here but it's so worth it!

Outstanding. Showed up 20 minutes before closing and was graciously welcomed and shown to a table. (Only one other group was in there at the time.) The waitress could not have been nicer, and we were offered samplings of beers before making our selections. The arugula salad was delicious, as were the wood fired pizzas. Seriously, you may think that pizzas in a planned development "downtown" might be sketchy, but these pizzas are full-on legit and delicious, in addition to being pretty inventive with ingredients. If you like a good pie, you need to try Frontager's. PS Was across the street at the bakery two days later at about 9 or 9:30am, and the Frontager's chef was in the back making fresh dough. Awful service and below average pizza. First, a member of my party called at 4pm asking if they took reservations, the woman on the phone abruptly said no. So then we asked if we could order takeout instead and the woman said they "close at 9" and were out of pizza?? Bizarre. So I called back and I'm not sure then if someone else answered but I was able to order pickup for 7:30, 3.5 hours away. Fine. Except when we arrived to pickup at exactly 7:30 we were met by a pink haired woman with a gnarly attitude who said she "did not take an order for us" (not judging the hair, just describing her appearance to warn others.) She was super rude and we insisted that we did in fact call it in hours ago so she told us to come back in ten minutes. Ten minutes it takes to make three pizzas? So why did it take 3.5 hours for the takeout order? The pizzas tasted less than average and the crust was mediocre, chewy and hard. The mushroom one had probably 4 small mushrooms on it. Pepperoni was madddd greasy. They'll get away with whatever they want at this place, seeing as they're one of two restaurants in Seabrook, but don't go there expecting a good experience. You're better off with digiorno at home. read more

Good food, great environment! Loved the look of the place, the giant retro style pizza oven they cook everything in is impressive! I had a great experience sitting at the "bar" around the kitchen where most of the cooking happens and talking with the pill gentleman who made all the food! The whole place was very clean, the food was very good and cooked well and quickly. The water comes in funky old glass bottles with the bale and stopper style lids! My only complaint? The waitress, who seemed to be buzzing around, didn't actually DO that much! She got us water and menus, but never came back to take orders for food or drinks. The chef making the food did notice, and he took our orders while making pizzas for other tables, and then made our food! Even got fancy with the dough handling to the immense amazement and amusement of my 3-year old daughter! To the Managers: hold on to that chef, but lose that blonde waitress unless she can learn how to do her job a little more thoroughly. read more
