I had chosen Frontager's because they have a vegan cheese option for $3 more. Not something available at your average pizza place. Had a nice lunch on a Friday. Loved the decor and the large windows that can be opened for an open air feel on nice days. There is also outside seating. Unfortunately, our server didn't return for some time, so I couldn't ask for it to be fried longer. The bummer with having tentacles and rings means they won't cook in the same time. We were also given a complimentary kale salad after the kitchen accidentally mixed up another table's order. The staff handled the situation very kindly and asked if we would like to keep it. Since I enjoy kale, it worked out perfectly and was quite good. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you're staying at Seabrook and want pizza drive up the road to Moclips and go to the Moclips Country Store. They have really great take and bake pizzas that are much better. My custom pizza (pepperoni, black olives, garlic, and ranch sauce) sounded like it should've been a guaranteed win. Instead, it arrived on what appeared to be a frozen crust that had all the flavor and texture of a Home Depot paint stir stick. The toppings tried their best, but they were fighting a battle they were never going to win. I've had cardboard boxes with more flavor. I was looking forward to the extra flavor of garlic. Instead, it looked like someone lost a game of "Where should we put it?" and just started tossing whole, soggy cloves at the pizza. Nothing says "appetizing" quite like biting into a warm, waterlogged garlic clove. As for the chicken Stromboli, it somehow achieved the impossible: it was bland, greasy, and dry. Every bite left my fingers oily while my taste buds kept waiting for the flavor to arrive. I'm still not convinced it ever did. To wash it all down, I ordered a beer. It arrived with the enthusiasm of a Monday morning: flat and warm. I wasn't sure if I was drinking beer or reminiscing about beer. Needless to say, after all this, my expectations of this dining experience had entered witness protection. But there's more... Service was a tale of two waitresses. The first one was genuinely great: friendly, attentive, and quick to replace the dirty drinking glasses that were waiting for us at the table. Unfortunately, after looking around the restaurant, I realized our glasses weren't an isolated incident. Nearly every table seemed to have the same hazy, cloudy glasses that looked like they had survived several dishwasher strikes. Then came waitress number two, who looked like she would rather be literally anywhere else on Earth. Every interaction felt like we were inconveniencing her by existing, with just enough condescension to make you question whether ordering food at a restaurant was somehow your fault. Overall, the experience felt like the restaurant had given up long before we walked through the door. It's hard to overlook flavorless crust, warm, flat beer, cloudy glasses, and service that makes you feel like you've interrupted someone's nap--or interrupted them from updating their résumé. The first waitress was the lone MVP of the evening and honestly deserves a raise--or, at the very least, a transfer to a restaurant where the pizza has a pulse. I asked about online ordering, and the person (?) said she was sorry it wasn't working that day. Looked into it and apparently it hasn't been working since 2021. Seems odd that on a non-busy off-season day I couldn't get to a human. We decided to walk over to order and pick up since I didn't trust the phone robot and the online order is not functional. We were surprised to see that 12 in thin crust pizzas were around $28-$30 each. We spent $60 on two pretty small pizzas. This might just be the way in Seabrook. The gluten free crust was pretty good. I liked the truffle pizza. My boyfriend liked his pepperoni. Neither were spectacular. This is one of the few dining options in the cute coastal town of Seabrook WA. They had a few tables inside but more seating options outside for the nicer summer months. It was a 45-minute wait on a Saturday night for dinner and they called us when our table was available. We were seated right next to the brick pizza oven that didn't look to be operational which was a shame. They had good amount of choices on the menu between appetizers, salads, pizzas, Strombolis, and calzones, and also gluten-free crust too. Service wasn't overly friendly or fast but they were pretty busy. The calamari was plenty and nicely breaded with a side of spicy mayo sauce, and the garlic parmesan wings were flavorful too. The pineapple bacon pizza was just OK, the bacon was too fatty. The pickle pizza was a surprise favorite though! The crust was thin and a little chewy with minimal char. Frontager's is right in the heart of Seabrook, so you naturally expect a premium culinary experience to match the coastal resort vibe. I came in specifically craving a proper wood-fired pizza--the kind with a beautifully blistered, leopard-spotted crust and those airy, crispy bubbles along the edges. Unfortunately, they seem to completely miss the point of having a wood-fired oven. Unless of course they don't actually have a true wood-fired pizza oven. Our pizzas came out looking sad, pale, and entirely devoid of character. There was absolutely zero char on the crust, and none of those signature bubbles you get when properly fermented dough hits a 900-degree oven floor. Instead of a light, crackly, and complex crust, it was dense, bready, and pale. It honestly tasted and looked like it was baked in a standard commercial deck oven on medium heat rather than kissed by actual fire. If a place is going to base its identity around wood-fired pizza, they need to know how to manage their fire, stretch their dough, and actually let the crust blister. Until they figure out their oven management and dough hydration, I can't justify spending the calories here. Great location, but a massive letdown for anyone who knows what good pizza is supposed to look and taste like. read more

They have a good beer selection, I had a Hefeweizen that was excellent and matched the pizza well. I had the fennel sausage pizza. It was very good. The crust is nice and crunchy, with a nice sauce. The ingredients were excellent, particularly the sausage. The 12" pizza was perfect for me, but could feed two people (particularly if you also have appetizers). Pizza was really underwhelming, they both lacked flavor and just not good pizza (for reference, I consider MOD not good pizza and MOD is better IMO). The biggest disappointment was the $13 garlic cheese bread on house made bread. I'm guessing the focaccia was not fresh baked today, it was dry, very dry and for cheesy bread, there was very very little cheese, thankfully it came with marinara for dipping (the marinara is good). Overall it was a pretty sad lunch for the fam. Arrived on a Monday afternoon. Server was very nice. We ordered a couple of build your own pizzas and a couple of panzanella salads. First off, get the fennel sausage on anything. So good. The panzanella salads looked like an art piece and everyone loved them. Here is something you will need to know about the pizza. It's dry. Dry dry dry. Barely any sauce on the pizzas and not a lot of cheese. Parts of the pizza, in the middle, had no sauce on it. I would make it a point to ask for extra sauce and extra cheese on the pizza. We live nearby and have been ordering take out here on our way to the beach with our dogs about once a week for years, including during the slow, wet season. A couple weeks ago hubs walked in to order and the employee told him he had to order online. He thought maybe it was just that employee, so went around back. They told him the same thing. We don't typically use devices when we are up this way. We didn't have signal so had to drive around a bit to be able to order. I understand that things change, but why an employee who was not busy could not accept a walk-up order is beyond me. The online order system gave us no option to leave a tip, which didn't really upset us after the blank stares he got when he tried to order face to face. The sweety drop peppers on the pineapple bacon pizza were a nice touch. The supreme pizza was just okay. I wish they would add more toppings overall. The dough was thin but a bit dry and tough. We ordered to go, but we ate the pizzas right away as soon as we got back to our rental, so they were still fresh. The service was just okay. We had a long wait, 50 minutes on a Friday night. We recently spent the holiday weekend out at Seabrook. Sunday night we wanted to order and go pick up a pizza. We called an hour before close and were greeted with an automated AI "voice" who instructed us that we could not order for pick up. When we questioned said voice and asked if we could eat dine in, the answer was yes. We could order for dine in, but not order for pick up. Wouldn't it be easier on the staff if we did not eat in the restaurant? We got hung up on and called back and asked to speak to a manager. We did get transferred and then hung up on again. What a terrible way to treat your clients. Not only not taking the time to actually answer the phone with a live person, but make it impossible for anyone to resolve issues. Seabrook is an ocean side getaway. A nice break from the city life. How sad that AI has taken over this quiet getaway. We will never order from Frontagers. read more

We've enjoyed our pizza from here. First tried it six years ago, and again last week. It's an easy meal while you're staying in a rental, and leftover pizza the next day makes it even easier. We've only done take-out. I will say that their AI Bot that takes orders over the phone is off putting, and I didn't trust it any more than I trust online ordering. I'd prefer a real person. We also ordered a side of calamari and they forgot the aioli, but it was easy to run back over and grab it since our house was across the street. Plenty of seating, and we didn't wait for much. We got seated right away at lunchtime on a Saturday, which is amazing. Service was prompt. My negroni was perfection, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The arancini are not good. The sauce is very acidic, and could do with some sugar or something to cut that sharpness. It almost tastes like cheap canned sauce. They are pretty cheesy with a crisp exterior, if that's up your alley. I feel like in a better sauce I would have really enjoyed these. Green onion on top is a really weird way to go. Parsley, thyme, or oregano... Really anything else would have been better. It was $14. Two arancini in bad sauce. I got the cheesy garlic bread to go. It comes with marinara. Guess how the marinara tastes? It's too thick, so the cheese to bread ratio is off, and the bad sauce just makes this not worth $11 for 5-6 small slices. It was not a busy day, there were three servers and maybe 8 total tables. Our drinks took over 20 minutes to get, and even then our server forgot my husband's beer.
