Used to be great but last couple of visits have been very disappointing. Most recently we got a Supreme pizza, a meat Stromboli, one beer, and one soda. Cost $70. Waited forever for food in an empty restaurant. Stromboli was cold and congealed. Pizza was Luke warm and had olive pits in it. Server never checked on us. Never offered refills. We had to track down a bus person to ask for our check. read more

This is a nice upscale pizza place with a good mix of fancy and standard pies. Crust was a little tough but otherwise delicious. The crab artichoke dip was a big hit. Service was friendly. The kitchen runs a little slow. read more

We got the prosciutto pizza and truffle pizza...... both were SOO GOOD! I can only say maybe add some more garlic and flavor to the crust... other than that everything was yummy! My husband and I got margarita's and they taste hand made... waitress was very sweet! would def be back! read more

I always come here whenever I visit Seabrook. Love their pizzas! Even their mixed greens half size salad was a surprise - it was bigger than I anticipated and the dressing covered all the leaves. read more

My husband and I came to Seabrook on Friday arriving after 6 hours major traffic delays. I called Frontagers to order a take-out and was told their take-out was full. In other words, we were declined. We just shook our heads and said WTH! We've been to Seabrook multiple times over the last few years and of course ate at Frontagers- never a problem. So, that request was made on Friday night this week. Now, it's Sunday and we thought for sure that we could get one... it was only 6:00pm. The gal that answered the phone told me again that their orders were full. WTH???? We ended up ordering from the restaurant across the street, Koko's - my husband picked the dinner up and brought it home . I would love to see them make take-out orders !!!!! Until, they've lost us. My friend and I were in Seabrook for July 4th and decided to check this place out. All I can say is WOW. Based on the number of reviews, the secluded area, and it being a tourist location, I didn't really have much expectations, but this place really surprised me. We ordered the pesto chicken stromboli and the pizza with smoked bacon, prosciutto, and sausage. We added pineapple and Anaheim pepper on there as well. The outside of the stromboli was like the thick crust of a pizza, and as a crust person, it was amazing. The inside was generously filled with chicken and pesto. It was on the salty side but if you dip it in this orange sauce that came with it, it was perfect. That sauce would actually go well with everything we had. The pizza was one of the best pizza I ever had. As you start eating the pizza, the tip is soft and covered with cheese and all the other components so you have to keep eating until the pizza until you can manage to bite off the cheese. The crust was thick and chewy and every part of that pizza worked well together. And the pineapple that was added was fresh pineapple, not the ones you get from the can. Service is also great, everyone was nice and genuine, the owner even checked on us to see how we were enjoying the food. We also got to sit right in front of where the magic happens so that was cool. If I had the stomach, I would try their salad and appetizer as well, it looked amazing. read more

Really great seating options- both outdoor and indoor. Fresh and Tasty salads - kale cesar and the house Pizza is spot on- we ate here a couple times and each time the pizza was tasty. So why not 5 stars? The staff seem annoyed or overwhelmed at times. The place is always busy in the evening-especially on the weekends...So the staff appear to get upset when questioned about things. Also, when they are really busy they don't do carry out. Makes sense BUT when you are traveling all day and then get to your destination with little kids- the last thing you want to do is sit at a restaurant. read more

Great food. Arugula salad was spot on. Margherita pizza was really good. A little soggy in the middle , but not enough to prevent devouring it. Service was bad. Server was curt/borderline unfriendly. Slow. Second beer offered 20 minutes after I wanted it :(. Sat with empty plates for 10-15 minutes wanting to place dessert order. Good news is the payment processing system suggests 20-30% tip. Small print option let's you do a custom tip. Management thinks that's reasonable given Seattle has service charge of 18%. You tell me is 25% a d 30% as customary as other options? A little insulting after you got bad service. read more

Warm and cozy atmosphere, The absolute best pizza and the Panzanella Salad is to die for. Also try the artichoke dip. Yum!

Resort eating can be hit or miss but one of the big hits of Seabrook in Pacific Beach, WA is Frontager's Pizza. Super family-friendly service, unique combinations of wood fired pizza with bubbly charred crust, and great craft adult and kid-appropriate beverages on tap and in bottles. We had the Meat Trio (smoked bacon, prosciutto, fennel sausage), the Quattro Fromaggio (fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, house ricotta and parmesan), a custom individual Buffalo chicken (organic roasted chicken, Frank's RedHot, shaved celery, gorgonzola), a custom kid's Margherita, and a very generous panzanella salad. Washed down with Snoqualmie Falls Brewery rootbeer and Stubborn Soda. What a great add to the Seabrook lineup! read more

I tried to call repeatedly to place my order for pick up. They hung up without verbally answering three times and when I finally got a live person, she put down the phone and I got to listen to her taking everyone else's orders for 20 minutes until I gave up. I totally appreciate that a place may be busy, but at least be friendly and polite about it. We then went to the actual restaurant to order and the entire kitchen was maskless (wearing them around their necks). When I asked the girl (who said she would take my order but continued to ignore me) about the kitchen not wearing masks, her response was a snooty, "I cannot control what they do". The entire place was so unfriendly, no greeting or smiles. Needless to say, I walked out of a place that cannot even treat customers with respect - respect for their safety against COVID and simple kindness. I never leave negative reviews especially during this difficult time for small businesses and regularly get take out to support restaurants, but this was end-to-end pretty awful and I am hoping management reads it and can take quick action to improve. read more

3 small pizzas for $110.00 + 4 people with food poisoning = 10/10 would not return Since Yelp is making me write more I will continue. One pizza came without sauce or cheese.... Not sure if you are new to pizza but that is 2/3 of the base ingredients. read more

The main things are that the pizza is good and the owners are clearly trying to do the right thing. The pizzas are 12" although they actually looked slightly larger. We split one between two people pretty happily although the large family at the next table ordered one pizza per person. We split before they got their check so I could only imagine the anguished howl when their bill came. Seating and service were a bit chaotic. Finally, keeping the context in mind is important. Are there alternatives to pizza locally? There are not a lot of dining options out in this area, and some of the local competition is truly awful (imagine you are 12 years old and your parents leave your 17 year old brother in charge for the weekend, and his cooking skills involve heating the contents of cans and jars, and making some noodles to go with it if you're lucky). So in the area you could do a lot worse than this slightly expensive but good pizza. read more

I love heading to Seabrook and I know that there aren't many restaurants to choose from. That's why I plan accordingly and bring many of my own meals. However, I also plan to go out once or twice. I had planned on grabbing a pizza this evening, had checked Google twice for hours of operation, and walked by their place earlier to make sure I knew the hours (I understand covid has changed the hours of many businesses, understandably). When I called well within the hours posted for their store, they said they had closed early, by about an hour. It was incredibly frustrating because while I understand there aren't a lot of people visiting Seabrook in January, my hope is the businesses would follow the public information they've put out there already -- I plan around that info when I bring enough food in during a Seabrook stay (especially during a pandemic where I try to stay safe and still support local businesses). More than anything, I count on information consistency when there are only a few open restaurants in the community. I'm frustrated that one of the only nearby restaurants acted inconsistently with their advertised hours. read more

Drive to seabrook and order a cracked egg pizza from here. Do it now. Pesto base with onions and sausage and a big old egg baked right in the center of the pizza. I want to eat this every day of my life. The arugula salad comes with an exquisite dressing, and the brussels sprouts have big hunks of speck which really adds delight. Wine and draft beer are available for takeout. But the star of the show is the cracked egg pizza. Can't wait to go back. read more

Yummy pizza but so much attitude. You need to swallow your pride to score a good pie in the woods.

Good pizza and table service but my visit ended badly because I noticed that two staff who were making food, were drinking beverages in their work station. One was wearing a mask but kept pulling it down to take drinks while preparing food. The other was not making food but was in the prep area leaning over the ingredients the other employee was using. She had her mask pulled down and was actively sipping on her beverage. She was also wearing gloves which was strange since she wasn't making food at the time and was holding her beverage. She then proceeded to start prepping before changing her gloves or washing her hands. Because I was concerned for everyone's health and felt this was not taking the proper precautions for normal food safely, let alone during a pandemic, I decided to make the manager aware. He was in the station, so I assume he was aware but I wanted to make sure he knew this was not very responsible behavior. When I let him know he didn't show any concern and let me know the Health Department allowed this behavior. I've worked in the hospitality industry myself for over 15 years and know this behavior is not allowed. He then told one of the girls to put her masks back over her nose and told everyone to change their gloves. No one washed their hands, beverage remained in work stations, and embarrassingly for the manager no apology was made. I left feeling totally unheard by management and concerned for the disregard for other's health. I won't be eating here again based on this bad experience. read more

Amazingly good pizza. As one of only two restaurants in town though be prepared to wait.

Great, rustic pizza. Interesting menu choices. The restaurant is small but has a great ambiance. The pizzas are a little pricey - but so is everything in Seabrook so it didn't seem out of place. The rootbeer has a nice sharp bite of wintergreen. Would definitely go back next time we are in Seabrook! Friendly service as well. read more

I am sure if I was able to eat any of the pizza, I would give it a higher rating. But I have never been so befuddled by a business plan before. We had never been to Seabrook and were excited. We were arriving around 5pm and I called Frontager to see if we could order for takeout. The girl who answered said takeout was 2.5 hours. We told her we would look at the menu and call back with an order. Called 30 minutes later with an order of stromboli, two pizzas, and an apple dessert, as it was my birthday. She said they only do pizzas for takeout. Wait what? I looked again at the menu and didn't see anything about only pizzas for take out. She said they needed to prioritize those who were eating in the restaurant. I said I had a terrible cold with cough and was not comfortable eating in a place where I could spread my germs (trying to be considerate in a pandemic is overrated I guess) and she said I could eat outside but there were no tables outside. I said we would have to look at the menu. I called back 5 minutes later with our PIZZA order and she said they were no longer doing takeout. I wish there was a WTF emoji! We laughed about this all weekend. What a weird place. read more

My friend brought me here while visiting Washington. The town itself is adorable so you should definitely stop here if you're in Washington. We came just in time for breakfast, which seems to end at 11. I tried the cast iron eggs with chicken and goat cheese....it was incredible considering I don't even like eggs. The red pepper sauce paired very well. The dish was baked inside a cast iron pan inside the pizza oven which was very interesting. The coffee was also great, served in a French press! I hope to come back to try the pizza. :) read more

We have 11 people staying for a milestone birthday weekend and we chose to order from Frontager's for my birthday dinner. I ordered online, got confirmation, etc. My husband went to pick up the order and only half of it was made. HALF. So now half of my family will be eating freshly made pizza and half will be eating pizza that had to be under a warmer for 20 minutes. No discount or anything provided and a complete lack of customer service for a $150+ order! We will not be back. read more

We had such a great experience while staying in Seabrook. We loved frontagers so much that we came back everyday. Twice on most days. My husband and daughter swore up and down that the pizza crust was the best they've ever had. They even had a gluten free version for me. They still need to do some work in that crust as it was very thin and got hard as it cooled. Everything else was amazing. We always had the best service, the most delicious salads and charcuterie. The clams were so delish! Loved the preserved lemon in the sauce. We will be back next summer when we come back to visit. I hope they continue to be busy as they are amazing. The pizzas do take some time to cook so order some apps while you wait. The ice cream was really good too. read more

What a delightful spot in Seabrook! We shared the crab & artichoke dip app (soooo good), Kale Caesar salad which had a fabulous kick with the pepper flakes and the amazing chicken bacon ranch pizza. Great pizza, great beer and great location. Even used their fresh dough in my Ooni with great results.

The pizza was okay not bad not great. Higher priced because of touristy location. Staff was friendly

When I read about Frontager's pizza, I was intrigued. We were on a birthday getaway and excited to try some new restaurants. We stopped in for lunch and waited patiently at the door to be seated. The place was pretty empty, three tables of 3-4 people, but it took almost 5 minutes to finally be seated and acknowledged by the waiter/server/the only person working at the moment. Once we were seated we realized quickly that this was likely not going to be a great visit. The waiter/server/person was at the cash register using an iPad for at least 10 minutes while we sat at our table waiting to order drinks. The other three tables had no food and looked visibly annoyed as the kitchen, which was in plain sight, had no food prepped and nothing was being cooked. The daytime manager came in and he eventually came by to take our drink order. We could tell they were way behind on orders and frantically making the food for the 3 tables that were seated when we came in. One table, which had kids, complained about the wait and took their kids to the beach to kill some time. Once the server/waiter and the daytime manager seemed to be caught up they took our food order. Right after, the restaurant filled up. Another 3 or 4 tables filled and those tables were seated and placed orders right away. About 45 minutes into our visit, we noticed that tables who were seated after us were receiving food. Hmm? As we became more annoyed, we noticed the daytime manager gesture toward us to the server/waiter, which was clear to be a non-verbal, "Where the hell is their food?". Though they clearly knew they messed up and didn't put our order in, they still waited another 10-15 minutes to even start making the pizza we ordered! A pizza that literally had three toppings on it and takes 8-10 minutes to cook. Every table that was seated after us received their food (appetizers and pizza) WAY before us. In fact, one table had even paid and left. The worst part of this entire experience was the lack of acknowledgment for what had happened. I get it, a restaurant gets busy, they mess up an order, they lose a ticket...it happens! To not admit what went wrong or at least apologize and offer some kind of way to make it up, is such a poor practice for any establishment. When we finally went to the cash register to pay and leave, like I said above, we received no acknowledgment, apology, or even an offer of some type of discount or comped item. I really felt everyone working there was friendly, but the service was AWFUL. For me, some type of ownership for what went wrong could have saved my impression of the place. Unfortunately, that never happened and for that, we will never be back and can not recommend the place. Oh, last thing, the pizza was really good though. So, I guess if you are willing to risk crappy service, you'll love the food. read more
