So you already know I had my eye on this place, Yelp. It just opened and I knew I had to stop by this weekend. It is a little hidden so just keep your eye peeled but it was easy to spot once I saw it. There was enough parking on a Sunday early afternoon and seems like the area needed a neighborhood coffee shop to walk to. It is a cute tiny little space that they made feel homey. I tried Thou Mayest coffee for the first time. Had to. They sell the local coffee brands and they are affiliated with Made in KC from what I understand - so it is always a plus to help local business whenever possible. Tried it and loved it! Although I am never really in this area (other than on my way to Target maybe...), this little coffee shop is going to make me consider visiting more often. The baristas were super friendly and personable. Not stuck up or too hipster which is nice. And, maybe because it just opened, space to take my laptop and try to figure out my life for an hour. Wasn't successful today... but there is always tomorrow. Too bad this isn't closer to Midtown for my morning emergency coffee but definitely a top coffee place. It is unique and not like the modern coffee houses KC has. It is very woodsy and "Colorado-based" love it! Suggestion: maybe add regular/raw brown sugar. Liquid sugar is cool but definitely not my favorite - not a deal breaker though. read more

We loved our visit to Front Range! The Roeland Park/Fairway area was in need of a cute bar and Front Range is perfect! We went on a week night and there were a few deals - $1 off beers and $2 off wine. They offer cocktails as well. Front Range is also a coffee shop during the day with baked goods and speciality coffees. The ambiance is 'log cabin chic.' Cozy and cute, the perfect winter date spot. Lovelovelove having a new coffee place not too far from me, and it's so wonderful that they're open late! It's a small-ish place. Probably not good for groups, but perfect for a meetup spot or nice after-dinner drink. Parking can be difficult and annoying at the Fairway shops, but most of the other stores close earlier than Front Range, so the later you go the better parking you'll get. The guys who opened it said they wanted a Colorado vibe to it, and speaking as a native Coloradoan- they achieved it. Now if only we could get Colorado's low humidity in KC!! read more

How cute! My husband and I found this place on a random Saturday. I got a latte with sugar free vanilla and a pop tart (didn't last long enough for a photo) it has such a nice atmosphere and is a unique idea. They also have cocktails, wine, and beer. I've known about this little coffee shop/cocktail bar for awhile now, but I finally decided to stop in and see what all the hype was about. Let me tell you-it did not disappoint. When you enter, it's like you're transported to a Colorado cabin, filled with mountain vibes. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, so you feel welcome right away. I ordered coffee, knowing that Front Range is a daughter shop of Made in KC cafe, who's coffee I love. My latte had the same quality and uniqueness as Made in KC, yet the space set the beverages apart, giving this shop a chance to own it's craft. I love when shops have a unique flavor and I adore lavender lattes, so I decided to order the honey lavender latte and enjoyed every last sip! Great coffee spot! I was really excited to see that they carried Post Coffee as well! I am really digging the whole Portland meets Denver vibe that's going on in there too. I ordered a vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was exactly what I needed! I wish I would have been able to stay and "camp out" a little. It seems like a great place to post up lol. Had a chance to check out Front Range on a Friday evening. Nice little setup but it was a bit much. Limited seating so don't expect to sit down if it's busy. Very crowded and loud. There was music but the speakers were bad so you couldn't tell what was being played so it overpowered the louder crowd. Getting a drink took most people 6-8 minutes because there was just too many people in the small place. There were pizza boxes with pizza that looked like it was available for customers but it was unclear. Drink menu was legit. Many options for your local brewers. The decor was really cool, however. I'd imagine the atmosphere would be different during a daytime setting. read more

We are in walking distance of the shops at Fairway so we were thrilled to see this little gem pop up. I've only visited early morning for coffee, typically around 7am. Service has been wonderful both times. We usually order just black drip coffees. We have not seen a selection of baked goods, but we have only visited during the early opening days. The space is beautifully decorated, very Rocky Mountain Colorado vibes and quaint. I am unsure if this would be a coffee shop I would work in due to the small space, I would hate to take a call and disrupt the surrounding customers. They do seem to have high traffic as we have witnessed on weekends with many walkers out in the good weather. I love that they have a bar concept, but we haven't been to visit yet. I have a feeling we will take advantage of this during the snowy winter. Will plan to update following more visits! read more

I'm a real coffee shop aficionado and as such do not grade on a curve. So first impressions... Americano ok smooth with a middle of the tongue. Atmosphere wanting over themed to the point of distraction. Seating, coffeehouses are a place of reflection. Not here this place is more a kin to a coffee truck. I love this little gem! It's such a cozy little coffee shop that feels like the inside of a log cabin in the mountains. There are a few tables in the back that can seat four people, but its a very small space with mostly two-toppers. They have a nice assortment of pastries including homemade poptarts, danishes, coffee cake, and breakfast sandwiches. The coffee is good and the cider is delicious. Bonus: Front Range is more than a coffee shop, they also have a full bar, making it an ideal place for an Irish coffee or cocktail later in the day. A must visit in the Kansas City area! read more

The music is fantastic yet chill. The vibe is amazing. They have great parking available. Open 7am-11pm where coffee is served at all times. Yet in the evenings they open up to be a bar as well.
