I was rushing to sign up for a BLS class & tried to fit too much in - on top of a Dr. appt. - to make it downtown. I tried the number listed twice for Front Range & left v.m's - when I knew I couldn't make the class time. No answer ever - though somehow my online email made it to the National Red Cross office & I received a phone call back from them! They are in a new location. They moved a month or so ago. Someone noted that they were not wheelchair accessible however that is no longer the case. You go right into building. There are not multiple levels anymore. The class room is on the left or sometimes outside if its nice enough and the office is on the left. Prices are fair and affordable. If you look around some other companies charge a lot more $$. I have done several certifications with this company in 2020 I did wilderness first aid for the first time with them. They were improvising like everyone else and the majority of the class was virtual except the skills portion which i had to wait several months to get to do as that had to be in person and there were so many rules, as we all know. The 2020 training was with Vince. He was very thorough and knowledagable. My scouts did some babysitting and First aid classes through this company as well in 2020 or 2021, I dont remember exact timing. This weekend I went and did my wilderness first aid recertification and also CPR recertification. This time class was with John. He was also still very knowledgable and thorough and threw in a couple of jokes once in awhile. Definitely recommend these guys for your certification needs. The interior is dated. It isn't wheelchair accessible for anyone needing to attend class due to the conference room/classroom being upstairs with no elevator. However, the staff were friendly and thorough. I was told it was $77 for the AHA BLS class for healthcare providers, and the class I attended was from 9:00am-12:30pm. What was convenient about this was you save a little money up front and a lot of time in the end using this company. It would've been about 5.5 hours total if I did the blended version (online training and test at home, hands-on check-off here). But with signing up for this class, we were able to knock out the videos and perform the hands-on check-offs for the adults, children and infants at the end of each respective portion. So it only took 3.5 hours or so. Materials are sent electronically after completing the class. Materials aren't needed prior to class or during since you're watching videos and walking through everything with your instructor. Today was a a bit of a fluke with timing. We were able to get our eCards (also sent electronically) at the end of class because the lady who makes them happened to come in on her day off today. Otherwise, you pay extra for eCards to be expedited; or, it takes 7-10 business days or so. Again, the company is great if you don't need elevator access to attend their classes. Great and straightforward class. Vince was our instructor for CPR and First Aid. He is super knowledgeable about CPR and laws regarding giving aid. You will learn what you need to know and getting to practice CPR but the hands-on approach really makes a world of a difference when it comes to gaining confidence. I've taken online courses before, but feel much more prepared after going in person. Very appreciative to Front Range! The only negative point I have is that the location is a little bit difficult to find, I had to call to find the place. Hopefully they replace the sign outside so it's a little bit easier to find. read more

I took a class at the end of May, and was told that my card would be held in a week. I called on June 18, and was told the cards were sent out and that I must have given the wrong email. It was the email address that I had previously received confirmations for my class with. Vince told me to text him with my email and phone number, and he hasn't sent my card yet. I need it for a class I'm taking, and timelines is prudent. I'm going to have to take another class again, and I'm going to have to pay for yet another certification. I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company if I don't hear back from Front Range CPR. read more

Came here for my CPR class. This place is a pig sty. Walked in to some random door into a cluttered disgusting office where there was no one to greet me. Creepily made my way back to a set of stairs and went up to find more mess and clutter. The teacher didn't know which way was up. Didn't know how to operate the tv, it was freezing. I contacted the owner of this place and he offered a refund and then when I accepted the offer he ghosted me. Won't return my emails. This place is a trash dump. Don't go here. read more

Our Scout Troop takes at least 1 high adventure trip every year. We require at least 2 members of each crew to be certified in Wilderness First Aid & CPR. A number of us have taken those courses through Front Range CPR. Its long, but educational, engaging and at times entertaining with real world examples of various situations. We continue to encourage our Adult Leaders and Scouts to Sign up with Front Range CPR. I took a cooler of Caffeinated drinks with me expecting to need some assistance staying engaged for the duration. The Front Range Crew kept the material relevant and interesting to where I didn't need caffeine to stay engaged. read more

I took my first CPR & First Aid course in 2014 with Front Range CPR. I renewed this year with a different company. Until then, I figured all CPR & First Aid courses were probably pretty much the same. Boy was I wrong! Front Range CPR is superior. Here's why: The Front Range CPR & First Aid course I took with Scott Stuart back in 2014 was really thorough, and he took time to go over the details and make sure everyone understood what was covered, and practice the procedures more than once, with supervision and feedback. He didn't cut corners, or try to get everyone out an hour early. He left time for people to process the information, and generate their own questions. He even offered mini CPR protective masks to keep on your key chain for only a couple bucks. If actually being able to recall and apply your CPR & First Aid training matters to you, then choose Front Range CPR. read more

Andrew came to my house for the training, which was reasonably priced. He was well informed and pleasant. The lower price is for the American Safety and Health Institute card. We had Vince in for an all-staff human CPR class (we're a veterinary ER clinic) and he was very personable. Info was great, he instilled a lot of confidence in us and answered our nerdy questions with no hesitation. Missing one star for follow-up...seems to be a recurring theme, but we had to really get on him about our certification paperwork and some equipment we had purchased from him. I took their class last year, and was less than impressed with the quality and surprised by the lack of information. It was the worst class I have ever taken and I have been getting certified for 25+ years. The class was barely an hour and did not cover AED or dummy practice. They did not have proof that I took the class and said they would mail it within a week. 2 years later I get an email that says my certification has expired and I need to sign up for more classes. I sent at least 4 emails and left at least 3 phone messages in the 6 months after taking the class to get the verification. Nothing. I ended up paying for another program. read more

This review is long overdue! What an excellent course!! I took this in preparation for a rafting trip down the Colorado. Though I am finishing medical school, I felt as though I needed better education in practical wilderness first aid. Vince (and co.) are incredibly knowledgeable and offer a wealth of experience -- it's quite possible that Vince himself has assisted somebody in every possible emergency situation -- seriously, he can effectively troubleshoot any crisis. I wish he were on every one of my outdoor adventures. There is a perfect combination of classroom and hands-on learning, including what you actually need in a fully-prepared first aid kit. We had a great first experience with Vince 3 years ago. He came to our home to train is and it took less than 2 hours. However, when we had to renew our CPR certification last year we scheduled with him twice and he was a no show/no call both times. This put us in a bind as foster parents because we needed that certification to keep our home study updated and keep our kids in our home. We ended up paying extra for someone else. I would have loved to keep using Front Range CPR, but they were not reliable to us. read more

Purchased a living social deal for my daughter to take the CPR, AED, First Aid class. I wanted her to be certified because she is now babysitting and I think this is an incredibly important requirement if she is to watch children. So she was off for winter break and I thought that would be a good time to take the course. I made 4 phone calls with no response. I emailed on the website and also made a call to living social. Vince the owner finally emailed me back saying he was out of town For the holiday. He emailed me a link to sign up. I signed my kiddo up for a 1-5pm class. When we arrived nobody was there and had no idea what I was talking about. So we waited (we arrived early) right at 1pm (start time) the instructor showed up. He was not very friendly and seem annoyed to even be there let alone answer the questions I had. While asking questions we found out that the certification wasn't RED CROSS and if that's what we wanted there was an additional fee. So after discussing with my daughter we decided to pay for that certification. I told her I would pay when I came back to pick her up. When I came back she told me that the instructor told her she had to pay prior to class or wouldn't be allowed to get the Red Cross certificate. So she paid the extra $20 from her pocket in cash (a mistake but she's 16 and didn't know better) she was promised they'd email her the certification no later than Friday of the following week. So Monday 10 days after the class I emailed Vince inquiring about the certification as she has not yet received it. I did not hear back and emailed again 4 days later. I still have yet to hear back. So at this point I'm guessing her $20 went in their pocket to make up for the discounted living social deal. This place is unorganized, has a lack of follow through, poor guest service and an overall lack of good business sense. I would not recommend taking courses here. read more

My husband and I took the CPR/AED class on August 18, 2014. There were no materials provided for the class, but before we started we were promised that after completing the class we would be emailed links to a comprehensive handbook and other helpful materials. We completed the class, but since then have not received the promised handbooks and other materials despite three phone calls to Vince, the owner. We did not take notes during the class because of the promise of followup materials, and in any event there was so much material covered in class that taking notes would have distracted from absorbing all of the information being thrown at us. The class was good but the followup was terrible, which is the reason for my low rating. read more

I was referred to Vince. With three small children, I liked he was willing to travel to me for a class. I called him and he was very nice and asked me to text him the dates we discussed. We hung up and I texted him immediately. My first contact with him was a Wednesday. I didn't hear anything back so I texted him again on Friday. Still nothing ... I called Sunday morning and left a message ... Still nothing ... It was imperative that my husband and I obtain our certifications the following Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Since I still hadn't heard a throng by Monday, I found a nice paramedic who trains on his off times to come over last minute Tuesday evening. This gentlemen was even nicer than Vince AND CHEAPER! As I write this review I still have received no calls or texts from Vince and I don't care because I am now certified! Can't make money and obtain referrals for new clients if you don't communicate. Will not recommend! Contact me, however, if you would like the name and number of the instructor I used. He also will travel to your home. read more

I would not recommend using their Groupon-not all classes are honored and their website is not updated to reflect accurate prices for specific classes. My certification was $40 on top of what I had originally paid for their Groupon.
