Marin has been without a great standalone butcher shop since Paoli's in Tiburon closed years ago…read more (Many of the butcher counters in supermarkets are just staffed with glorified clerks to give the impression of a real butcher shop.) We have been pleased with all of the products we've purchased from Zonda - ribeye steaks, pork chops, bacon, and a variety of sausages. The quality is top notch - tender, flavorful, and worth the drive. (And occasional difficult parking.) I especially want to call out the chicken apple sausage. It actually tastes of apple. So many don't. The staff has always been exceptionally helpful. They're always ready to make recommendations and to help you select the perfect cut of meat. The shop itself is clean and bright.

This little retail area badly needed something new besides boutique, hair/nail salon, beauty salon,…read morejewelry salon, lifestyle designer, clothing consignment store or studio for a better YOU. Just a bit different, no need to overdo things in this little area behind the small Menke Park / Piccolo Pavilion area in Corte Madera. Hiding in plain sight as it were, there have always been salons of one stripe or another along the block, essentially a salon of salons. For a time I did find something here for myself, way back when vhs rental movies were a thing. This was in a fairly large retail space, almost like a separate little cottage at the far east end, around the corner and somewhat hidden from view from the parking lot. Ironic then that this is the very place I find myself going again today. Zonda Meats is the addition to this area that's especially timely now as grocers nearby are closed, and premium quality butcher shops almost nonexistent. I happened on Zonda the other day while biking down the little side street of Montecito that forms the east side of the small park. The owner in residence, Alberto Lataliste, is from Argentina but has been in the USA for many years. I worked in northern Argentina for more than a decade and developed a great appetite for the beef raised there, and the way cuts of meat often follow muscle groups rather than slicing through them as is done here. Alberto's focus on meat quality is to identify and import quality producers there and delivering without freezing or addition of preservative. The selection is extensive so you'll benefit from making your own quality comparisons. In addition to the meat counter, there are excellent sandwiches and in near future my own favorite, empanada. The sandwiches are very generous and outside is a pleasant courtyard with tables for lunch. I'm glad to see an assortment of imported preserved meat, and another favorite of mine, Dulce de Leche from Argentina, which is much superior to the few brands made here. So here's to a great reception for Zonda Meats, arriving just in time for summer grilling in my backyard parrilla.

It's a pretty small spot, but if you make a reservation, you should not have a problem being seated. We were there during a regular weekend time for lunch, and there were two servers covering the entire restaurant. They appeared to share duties and both were equally attentive and helpful to us as we enjoyed our meal. They quickly brought kids, menus and coloring supplies as well as let us place in order for the kids first. We were very surprised that the Shirley Temple came in a very large glass. The bread was nice and warm and very fresh and the butter was room temperature, which is always the best. We loved the covered outdoor seating, which is a great way to get fresh air and still be protected from the elements. There were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try that we will definitely be back. Parking can be a challenge in downtown Larkspur, but we had arrived early and were able to secure parking, reasonably within walking distance. Overall, the experience was really great and definitely worth the value. We all enjoyed our food, though we did have to send back one of the pizzas because the sausage was raw in the middle. They were very professional about it and remade the pizza very quickly. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambience. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

My husband and I decided to give this spot a try after getting many rave reviews not only on yelp but on Eater SF (or maybe it was SFGate?). Anyway, we arrived around an hour before close, most places in this area close at 9pm btw. We were greeted by the host who walked in from near the kitchen area. We decided to sit outdoors since the weather was pleasant. We found a table for two near the projector showing a muted black and white film on the brick wall. The chairs had blankets over them just in case it gets chilly at night. It was very thoughtful. I decided to order their special 3 course meal including a white wine ($45!). It was like they had their own restaurant week specials like SF but I don't believe that exists in Marin. The 3 course meal included a beet salad, pasta (it was the screw shaped kind) with Bolognese and a tiramisu which was my fav of all 3. The white wine was a bit on the sweet side. My husband had the pappardelle pasta with oxtail. That was a treat! I liked his dish more than mine but all of it was so much we had to take half home! The complimentary focaccia really pushed us over the edge. I would definitely come back to try their pizzas!

The parking lot is usually packed as it is shared amongst the other businesses. Holiday-themed treats and items next to the pre-packaged baked goodies. There is a hot food bar, salad & soup bar, deli, pre-packaged food for those quick on-the-go with items such as burritos, chicken tenders w/ a side of ranch, side salads, larger salads, mini pizzas, half lox bagels, sandwiches, the list goes on. They even have an area where you can get sushi. I hear their sushi and sandwiches made to order are really good. They have quite the array of cheeses, side options like olives with feta or macaroni salad, potato salad, chicken salad, fruits and jams, easy to shop for special hosting events. This was only the area of Nugget Market I have been able to walk around and view. Their aisles look small, but they are well-stocked and not difficult trying to see what is on the shelf. During the lunch time rush, there have been more people inside where lines may form, however, other times in the mid-afternoon, I have not run into the issue of waiting at checkout. A great market to have in the community!

There's plenty of free parking at this Marin County highly stylized mall. The RH facility is very impressive and freestanding in the parking lot and you will witness a wonderful display of stunning home furnishings on your way to the rooftop restaurant. My wife had the SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD, Emmentaler Swiss, Cherry Peppers, with Au Jus. I've heard it referred to as the best French dip ever consumed. My dietary needs are a bit limited, but I enjoyed the CHARRED HEIRLOOM BROCCOLINI with Lemon, Garlic Confit, Calabrian Chili, and some wonderful french fries with aïoli. A wonderful Lioco Pinot Noir complimented my meal nicely. The Village in Corte Madera features top retailers to include Apple, Verizon, Williams Sonoma, Anthropology, Johnny Was, to name a few. And, of course, Nordstrom (which is the main anchor to this facility) with a wonderful assortment of high-quality merchandise and top name-brand representation featuring men's and women's footwear. Heck, there are a few showrooms of electric car brands at the Village Marin. What a welcome reprieve from the deteriorating big city retailing landscape, and so nearby! Just about 10 minutes past the Golden Gate Bridge north. Park and shop and have a wonderful dining experience at RH. The hippest thing is that there's no advertising or signage that states there's this rooftop restaurant here, you kinda have to know- and now you do! Update : return visit had a great experience again. I want to call special attention to our server, who was very gracious, kind, and efficient. Two or three sips into my lovely glass of Pinot Gris I reached for the top-heavy glass, and I broke it on the nice marble table. Without hesitation, she came and cleaned it up and brought me a complimentary refill, a totally professional move. Thank you.

I've had the tea leaf salad and BBQ pork garlic noodles. I sadly can no longer eat red meat but the BBQ pork was delicious and the garlic noodles were not overly greasy. I forgot to also include that the tea leaf salad here is one of the best I've had! My coworker that I brought there last year had never had Burmese food and I had her try the Tea Leaf Salad (my personal favourite) and she loved it and insisted that was the best salad she's ever had. We're from the South so our palette is different, lol. This place also has a lot of fusion dishes and is very friendly to vegans and vegetarians. This is very important for me due to dietary restrictions. The restaurant was very clean, the decoration was cute and the owner's daughter was incredibly kind. She told us that her mother's recipes were used for the restaurant. I'll be bringing my partner and other friends here when we have time. The only issue is the parking. Parking is insanely frustrating in this area but this place is worth it. Just carpool together and go! The owner's daughter also has a really good memory since we couldn't come back for several months and she still remembered us and our request for ube cheesecake, lol. Edit: Oops, I meant original owner's daughter. I'm not sure if she's the owner now or her mom. Either way, the food is great and service is always kind. It feels especially kind when owners of the business are passionate about their food and encourage their customers! I found the pictures and uploaded them (oops, it was from 2024 not last year too).

Shout out to the chefs, Youssef- quirky guy, and Khephra- loved that she chatted w the kiddos! Sweet folks who were attentive, personable, quick to respond to whatever the boss babies needed! They even brought out slices of oranges since the kiddos were eyeing it in our Old Fashioned cocktails! Happy the food came out quick!
