What he did do, however, is he did do a great diagnosis and then let me know my various options which turned out to be that the best thing I could do was take my bike back to the dealer. To tell my story, I own a Royal Enfield and the bike died on me. I had it towed to the shop and Jerry and his team checked it out. As this is a Royal Enfield, they are fairly rare and parts for them can be pretty hard to come by. After the diagnosis, Jerry took the time to call the various dealers in the area and even check on eBay to see if he could get the part. When he contacted me he informed me that he had no way of knowing where or when he would be able to find that part. Thus, we discussed the matter and it was decided that probably the best thing to do was to take the bike back to the dealership where they have better access to the parts. He held the bike for me for a few days, when it could finally be towed to the dealership. He is a very nice and friendly individual and really knows his stuff. Moreover, he didn't try to charge me an absurd amount of money just to give me a diagnosis and he was very honest about the fact that he would have trouble getting the part. Thus, he is a very trustworthy business owner which I believe you could easily relying on to get your bike fixed correctly.

If they don't just walk away. They gave me the price for the OTD, and I agreed to it. They had me go in on a Saturday morning at 11am. I also took my previous motorcycle in for a trade in. Please as a word of caution. THEY WILL SCREW YOU on your trade in. they will low ball, and refuse to give you anymore than the lowball. Knowing that your pretty much stuck at that point, and will most likely agree. I know that the motorcycle i traded in was worth at least 4k, but they forced my had at a much lower number than what i was asking. Next they required me to put a 500 dollar deposit on the motorcycle. I put the deposit down as required to "hold the quoted price" (keep this in mind). they did not apply it to the total of the motorcycle so they took that money. So if you do this, keep an eye on these guys. Next issue they also tried to pump up the price. as they were supposed to give me a discount on it since it was on sale. In total the cost of the bike was 8,898 quoted OTD. the paperwok they gave me was showing a final price of over 10K. Making it basically to they took the trade in for free, and charged me fore it, as well as raised the price on the bike. I looked it over as best as i could, and they were upset that i caught it, as well as appeared to be upset that the price was 8,898 OTD. They finally agreed after some arguing over numbers, and then gave me the 500 dollar discount i was supposed to get (keep in mind they still kept the 500 deposit that was supposed to be applied to the total of the motorcycle). The 500 dollar discount ended up having to go onto a gift card, as this was all discovered AFTER they already charged me and took my money. In total they kept me there for 3 hours as a cash deal no financing, and the experience was by far sub par. I have told everyone i know that this will forever be the last anything i buy form del amo motorsports. I even told the same guy that i wanted to buy my wife and kids a couple quads and a boat eventually down the road. Im not sorry for purchasing my motorcycle, but i am sorry i went to del amo motorsports just based of what felt like deceptive practices.

The sales people were not pushy and allowed us to browse the motorcycles. Unfortunately, we did not see the bike that was listed on their website and went straight to the parts shop. The guy helping us at the helmet section (I forget his name but it could be Xavier?) was easy going and let me browse the selection without breathing down my neck and was able to answer my questions when asked. So, where did it go wrong? When his coworker (some young, white kid) decided to jump in to help and then talked back to my partner regarding a display item vs open box item, which was uncalled for and completely rude as hell. We still ended up purchasing a helmet since I really needed one for some plans later in the day. I made sure I spoke to Xavier (I'm sorry if I got your name wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the name that came up when I was paying at the front) about the item I wanted in case he gets some sort of credit for helping out. And kid, there IS a difference between a display item and an open box item. I'm not sure how my partner's question triggered him to answer with such attitude lol. Like it isn't stressful enough to decide which helmet to purchase??

Last year I spent a good three months trying to find a spot that would suit us. I finally found SBC and I immediately fell in love with the photos online. When I called the owner, Michael, to inquire, he was friendly, straightforward, and explained everything I needed to know before booking their spot. To be clear, SBC is a million times easier to work with than just about every other venue I found up to that point. So many places had a laundry list of restrictions, requirements and downsides that I just couldn't swallow. SBC is as laid back, honest, and transparent as they come. Michael always made himself available to me and my day-of coordinator, as well as the other vendors (three food trucks, bartenders, tattoo artists, photographers, photo booth, band, security guards) who had questions. He even worked directly with our live band to ensure all of our sound was great and everything was in order. Although we had food trucks for guests to choose from, we ended up hiring Michael to do barbecue for the kids. His brisket is out of this world, and it was a huge hit. Our party lasted from 6:00 PM to midnight, and for all six of those hours, I swear just about every guest at the event came up to me at some point to gush about this venue. Everyone couldn't believe how cool and unique it was. "How did you find this place?!" was the question of the night. Everything about our party leaves me glowing. South Bay Customs could not have a more solid place in my heart if it tried. Every little detail is perfection, and I can't wait to come back for one of their comedy shows. Trust me, this is the venue you want to go with. The pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. If I could give it 10 stars I would!
