Food was great! Had to have the tequeno on the ride home. Arepas are messy but worth it. Service was good and quick. The total was roughly $35 (tip included).

First time here. Delicious item I've never had nor ever heard of. It was like a Gordita, but totally different flavor and texture with shredded seasoned chicken, a slice of deli type meat, shredded cabbage, thick white cheese, and a tasty cream sauce. It was delicious and I'd order it again. The menu has many items I've never seen or heard of but the photos looked good. I have it 4 stars because the guy behind the counter didn't speak a word of English therefore was pretty useless, though some what friendly. When you own a business in a land of English, but your employees don't speak English, you won't earn your fullest potential. I'll be back for more.

Food is ok but expensive, very unwelcoming, not friendly at all, the old man with glasses (I think is the owner) very rude. Won't go back.

First off, the outside as well as inside of the establishment is beautiful! When you walk in, the restaurant is beautifully decorated; it's a cross between a fast-food establishment and a restaurant dining-style. I believe another Yelper also mentioned that fact as well. One can order in two options: using the self-kiosk, or going to the counter where there is someone there to take your order. Having both options available is rather convenient. For my food, I got the Famous Meal #1: Italian Beef Sandwich. However, I came prepared: it was going to be personalized to be the perfect meal. FIRST: make it big ($2), then add sweet and hot peppers ($1.98), mozz cheese ($.89), and ordered slightly wet. For my sides, I opted for the large onion rings ($4.99), and in addition --- this is A LOT -- I got the famous Chocolate Cake Shake (additional $6.19). If you were going to get a normal meal, it would probably cost you about $14.57. Mine -- with all the add-ons? $26.88. Take that into consideration. How was the food? Portillo's is definitely the experience many Chicagoans have heaped about. The "dipped" Italian Beef Sandwich was generously portioned, and if I had anything to comment-on --- it would be adding more sweet + hot peppers to the sandwich. Besides that, everything else was spot-on. On to that famous milk-shake: if you're a first-timer DO IT. How does it taste? It honestly tastes like a "real" version of a frosty from Wendy's --- taste wise. At least we know what's in this milkshake: Ice Cream, Milk, and a slice of chocolate cake. It was thick, creamy, and hit the spot. All-in-all, I totally recommend Portillo's if there is a location near you! It's definitely an American institution and is worthy of the hype.

There was one not too far from me and it was nice to make a small trip. Plus I had my edc camera with my new lens and have been dying to get some snapshots since I knew it had a retro theme. Not gonna lie, this place is pretty legit. The food was great, and the prices? Wow. Super affordable for all the food we got. I went back to the counter after my burger and decided to get the nuggets to try them. The restaurant was super clean and the employees were friendly as well. All very positive things to see when you walk in. If you're near one, you should give it a try. You won't find a better deal. The patties and the fries are all real and fresh. If it was closer, I'd probably eat there more frequently in the future. I'll do my very best not to let them being outta Austin affect my judgement of them too much.

This translated to a really cheap combo that included a double cheese burger, fries, and a shake for $7.05. The quality of the food was on point and the price made it a steal. My son loved his burger and asked to come back again a second time, same day. I promised him a rain check. Even though the place was crowded, the food came out quickly with everything hot and fresh. The place has a retro feel to it. Will definitely be back as regulars.

My experience started online , I made an order for pickup and when I sat to eat it, there were a few mistakes made that I could not just ignore. I hate being the guy who needs a correction or a refund etc. I'm real go with the flow and trust me I know EVERYONE makes mistakes so I never get angry or frustrated at all, but I spent my money there and thought I'd at-least call them to see if anything can be done. Well I spoke with management and they not only apologized sincerely but guaranteed they would fix the issue by remaking my order completely whenever I chose ! All I had to do was go in and say my name. Today I took them up on that offer and they made me one of the best bowls I've ever had from Cava in my life and didn't charge me a dime! They were friendly , nice , and most importantly professional about the entire situation. I am big on customer service , I own a few businesses and when I see people doing the right thing I think it deserves a shout out! So to all of the Cava staff this is my shoutout to you! Thanks for making me a happy customer ! God bless

Whether it's trendy or not, I'm happy to say that after 2 years away, I can now revisit Cava with fresh eyes and a fresh perspective. Most elements of this shop have remained the same over the years. Fast casual customizable product. Simple straightforward options with a Mediterranean twist. Fountain drinks with a few worth while additions. They are however mixing things up with glazed salmon, seasoned pita chips and something strawberry sesame for the summer. I won't detail the ordering process because if you've been to any restaurant of this type, you've been to them all, but I will say that even though there were a few hiccups in my order (the crew was replacing meats, but did not replace the salmon leaving me with older salmon, and my greens ended up on top leaving a pool of sauce at the bottom of my bowl after confusion around limited power greens), they're still worth the revisit. They were slammed after all and even with the hiccups I enjoyed my bowl and appreciate the ingredient transparency. Happy healthy eating out!
