While our friend speaks Spanish, some menu items were still unfamiliar, but the staff went above and beyond--bringing someone over from next door to help explain everything in English. That kind of service stood out. The food leans heavily toward fried comfort fare: empanadas, hot dogs, burgers, and loaded plates. We tried both chicken and beef empanadas, fried cheese sticks (not breaded like mozzarella sticks but still very good), and a plate with beef, ham, cheese, eggs, and potatoes. Very interesting menu that has a lot of yummy looking dishes. I'm down to try all of them, starting with some tequenos, a few different empanadas, and a pastelito. Next visit I am going for a cachapa and an arepa. All of it looks delicious, messy as hell, but delicious. They are not quick, but I feel it's because everything is made fresh to order , but worth the wait. The place is clean but the service is crap. I came in and was not greeted. I was confused with the menu and wasn't assisted until I asked multiple times. The credit card machine is in Spanish which sucks because I don't read Spanish and had no idea what the payment was coming out to be. Food was basic. Had their tequeno which is a fried cheese stick. The green sauce that's served is the best thing. I'd go back for that. Other than that this place really didn't leave an impression. read more

First time here. Delicious item I've never had nor ever heard of. It was like a Gordita, but totally different flavor and texture with shredded seasoned chicken, a slice of deli type meat, shredded cabbage, thick white cheese, and a tasty cream sauce. It was delicious and I'd order it again. The menu has many items I've never seen or heard of but the photos looked good. I have it 4 stars because the guy behind the counter didn't speak a word of English therefore was pretty useless, though some what friendly. When you own a business in a land of English, but your employees don't speak English, you won't earn your fullest potential. I'll be back for more. read more

Excelente taste so far! Everything I've tried is good! My favorite so far has been the empanadas de Pabellón but my kids love the ham and cheese and potato and cheese empanadas. I usually order tequeños frozen & pre-fried, and all I have to do it throw them in the Airfryer when we want to eat them. The patacón de pollo is my favorite dish out of the whole menu. The service, without a doubt, is the worst I have ever experienced. Very cold, unwelcoming employees that fail to even greet arriving customers. I even tested how many "hellos" were needed before a greeting is given. The answer to that is infinity; no greeting was ever given from any of the workers behind the counter. The food itself is quite good and will continue eating from this place, but just through apps like DoorDash. Good food.. poor customer service. If it wasn't for the food, I wouldn't give it 3 stars. My wife and I walked in recently and nobody even glanced at us. No smile, no "how may I help you?".. nothing. There was a woman behind the counter playing on her phone. When we finally got ready to order she acted like we were bothering her. An older gentleman was sitting alone quietly at a table. I believe it's a family business since about 7 more people came in while we were waiting for our order. They proceeded to help out around the place. When my food was finally ready, I only knew because my wife motioned to me to go up to the counter to grab our order. I went to grab my order and that person didn't look at me and said something to someone else. When I went back to ask if there was anything else or if she was talking to me, another guy just said "that's it" pretty abruptly. I've been to New York a few times and that's the "rude" vibe I got while I was there. I guess I'm spoiled by Texas southern hospitality. With that being said, if you don't care about that stuff and you just care about the food, then I can say that their food is decent enough for me to give it another try. I do wish the tequenos were a little bigger, like the regular style you would normally get, however, they were still great. Wanted To Share Our Experience At A New Venezuelan Restaurant named FRITOS Y MAS It's On Boudreaux and Huffsmith Khorville..Today My Dad/Daughter and I stopped off to try it. When we went inside there was a lady and man sitting at a table near the counter. They both appeared to have uniforms on as if they were waiters and a couple sitting at a booth eating. My Dad said in a loud voice " Good Afternoon " No one acknowledged him or us. The lady with the uniform stood up and walked behind the counter without looking at us . We asked if do we sit our selves and no one replied so we headed over to a booth and sat down. My Dad grabbed Menus and as we sat there we waited for someone to come over and greet us and take our food order, but after about 5 minutes I looked back to see if anyone was coming and I noticed above the counter a sign that said ORDER HERE. I told my Dad and we headed towards the counter with the lady standing there Texting and looking through her phone. We grabbed some menus that were laying there and waiting for the lady with blonde hair to take our orders but she just turned around and headed into the kitchen without looking at us. I felt so Mad, not for me but because of the way they were towards my Dad and Daughter. No kind of Acknowledgement. Just As Down Right Ugly! My Dad and I were Stunned about their behavior towards us. My Dad and I agreed to leave. As we were leaving the old man sitting at the table with the uniform just looked at us without saying anything. I can definitely tell you that we felt as this establishment does not want any foreigners . When we left I called my friend and told her about our Experience and she told me she went there before Christmas and she had the same experience with the Owner who ended up being the man I saw at the table with the blonde lady. My friend is from France but speaks fluent Spanish. She said the owner was very rude and she also ended up leaving because of his attitude.
