Ever heard of try-curious? Well that's me when it comes to new restaurants that I haven't tried -- that have almost no pictures on Yelp. I've driven by this place wondering what the food looks like - how it tastes - etc. So - I had to give it a try for research purposes. As soon as I entered, I was greeted. I took a seat then dove into the menu. I will admit, I wasn't incredibly hungry, but I still wanted to order a few things to sample the variety. I started out with two appetizers. The salchipapas and an empanada. Both of them were good and they came out quick. For my entree I ordered the chuletas. Let me set the stage here. When the chuletas arrived, I smiled to myself. They looked really good and they came accompanied with rice, beans, and a plantain. I grabbed my fork and knife and jumped in. The chuletas had some great flavor, but they were a little difficult to cut with the supplied butter knife. I was cutting so hard that the table started shaking - hitting against the wall. It slightly embarrassed me because it sounded like my neighbors' headboard banging against the wall if you know what I mean. Regardless, when I took the bite - it was so worth it. It was rich in flavor and temperature hot. So...I started shaking the table again. The wait staff did not speak English but I don't feel like that got in the way. They were very attentive and extremely nice. The prices were also very reasonable. The only thing I would change is I would add a steak knife for folks that need to cut the chuleta. I would love to go back and try more things on the menu!

We had a great dinner here! It was the first time my kids have tried authentic Colombian food, and they really enjoyed it! We tried: Pandebono (Colombian Cheese bread. It was AMAZING!!), Empanadas (we loved the chicken one), Chicarron (pork belly that was so crispy and wonderful), Platano maduro con queso (sweet plantains with cheese. Yum!), Arepa/Arepa con queso (corn cakes), Carne Asada (grilled meat), my husband had a Bandeja Paisa, and my kids loved their cheeseburgers and fries, too! We also got some traditional Colombian soda's and hot chocolate. Everything was awesome, and very authentic. Super nice service, and very fair prices! Please come support this local gem!

Today was my first time at this restaurant and I will 100% be coming back! From the moment my family and I walked in we were greeted, seated and felt so welcomed! Leidy was our waitress and she was phenomenal!! She gave great recommendations, was very attentive and continued to check on us as we continued to eat. She is so nice and it definitely added to the experience. The restaurant is set up very simple and looks really clean. They have a full bar, booths and tables that they can put together for large groups. There's a stage in the corner for karaoke nights and I'm going to assume live music some nights *fingers crossed* The food was delicious !! Very tasty and the portions are big.. I'll be having the rest for dinner tonight. If you enjoy Spanish food, definitely make this one of the restaurants you go to. Top Recommendations: Pandebono, Breaded chicken cutlet and the chicken in mushroom sauce. So good ! They also bring a green sauce or "salsa" to the table to add to your food and my goodness! .... I purchased some to bring home. Mm mm mm

    This is their bakery section!

This was my second time having Colombian food, so this was a great dish for me to try a lot of different things.

I have to agree with the other reviews calling this a hidden gem!…read more The food is amazing. Do yourself a favor and order el Caldo de Mariscos. It's soooooo good! First time I tried it, I kept craving it every week lol thank God for UberEats. They're super generous with the portions. Especially with the caldo de res too. Pupusas are bomb. Their salsas are perfect. Waitresses are incredibly kind and friendly! Excellent service. Oh and the breakfast? El tipico is my favorite. My mom and I always come here for breakfast on the weekends. Between the food quality, cute atmosphere, great service, and good coffee in adorable mugs... it's a perfect way to start your day.

So can't comment on ambiance or service because this is a DoorDash delivery order, but can…read moredefinitely comment on the food. Ordered 4 orders of the Monterrey street tacos, comes with 5 plus rice and beans. Got 2 orders of the barbacoa and 2 orders of the fajita beef. The description indicates they are mini tacos are they are indeed mini, see picture and I have small hands 5'4" tall small hand lady, so not your normal street taco size. The packaging was good, and came with napkins, salsa, and utensils without having to request for them. There was definitely more meat in beef tacos than the barbacoa even though u pay more for the barbacoa ones. The Barbacoa was moist, had a nice flavor, not greasy. I actually prefer when my barbacoa is cooked with some fat mixed in to add to the Unctuousness so missing that here but atleast grease isn't running down my hands or causing my tortillas to fall apart so trade off. Surprisingly the rice was just white rice, not a seasoned, fried version. I'm asian so I'll take it but definitely not expected. Beans have a really nice flavor, they're not all the way blended with some chunks of beans in there to change up the texture profile and it works. They were packed with a good portion of cilantro and onion and limes- a plus. Star of the show though was the spicy green salsa. I like super spicy things, so this salsa had great spice for me which means may be too hot for others. Just a great, creamy, kicking salsa! My son said the beef fajita ones, which at first glance look like ground beef but are tiny pieces of beef fajita, were spicy and yeah they've got a some kick on there so beware if ordering for kids or those that can't tolerate the heat. Overall decent deal and satisfying meal.
